Using TRAC TicketQuery template for sprint to show what's going on. How would I type name of current sprint only ONCE, when template needs it in multiple location? For example "Sprint1" is needed is 6 places:
= New items = [[TicketQuery(milestone=Sprint1,status=new,format=table,order=priority,col=id|summary|priority|component|owner|type)]]
= Items in progress = [[TicketQuery(milestone=Sprint1,status=in_progress,format=table,order=priority,col=id|summary|priority|component|owner|type)]]
Perhaps this will do something close to what you want? (It will group by status value, so you should only need 1 query instead of 6.)
[[TicketQuery(milestone=Sprint1,format=table,order=priority,col=id|summary|priority|component|owner|type,group=status)]]
As for defining variables like that, no, there isn't a way to do that.

I am dynamically displaying sermons from a MYSQL database, and I want to create a dynamic page for each sermon series. Because the series titles have spaces in them, and I want to avoid that in my URLs, I have done str_replace:
(Series name)
That works great. But then of course on the dynamically-created page, I need a way to revert back to the original series name in order to fetch the actual sermon data, and I haven't figured out to how to accomplish that. I've tried this:
$series = $_GET['series'];
$str = $series;
$str = str_replace("-"," ",$str);
... ahead of my prepare & execute statements (I'm using PDO), but that doesn't really look right, and in any case doesn't work.
Is there actually a way to this?
I just needed to change one variable. The lead variable of the third line needed to be $series, not $str:
$series = $_GET['series'];
$str = $series;
$series = str_replace("-"," ",$str);
Currently, I made a tool to rename view numbers (“Detail Number”) on a sheet based on their location on the sheet. Where this is breaking is the transactions. Im trying to do two transactions sequentially in Revit Python Shell. I also did this originally in dynamo, and that had a similar fail , so I know its something to do with transactions.
Transaction #1: Add a suffix (“-x”) to each detail number to ensure the new numbers won’t conflict (1 will be 1-x, 4 will be 4-x, etc)
Transaction #2: Change detail numbers with calculated new number based on viewport location (1-x will be 3, 4-x will be 2, etc)

Py File here: http://pastebin.com/7PyWA0gV
Attached is the python file, but essentially what im trying to do is:
# <---- Make unique numbers
t = Transaction(doc, 'Rename Detail Numbers')
t.Start()
for i, viewport in enumerate(viewports):
setParam(viewport, "Detail Number",getParam(viewport,"Detail Number")+"x")
t.Commit()
# <---- Do the thang
t2 = Transaction(doc, 'Rename Detail Numbers')
t2.Start()
for i, viewport in enumerate(viewports):
setParam(viewport, "Detail Number",detailViewNumberData[i])
t2.Commit()
Attached is py file
As I explained in my answer to your comment in the Revit API discussion forum, the behaviour you describe may well be caused by a need to regenerate between the transactions. The first modification does something, and the model needs to be regenerated before the modifications take full effect and are reflected in the parameter values that you query in the second transaction. You are accessing stale data. The Building Coder provides all the nitty gritty details and numerous examples on the need to regenerate.
Summary of this entire thread including both problems addressed:
http://thebuildingcoder.typepad.com/blog/2016/12/need-for-regen-and-parameter-display-name-confusion.html
So this issue actually had nothing to do with transactions or doc regeneration. I discovered (with some help :) ), that the problem lied in how I was setting/getting the parameter. "Detail Number", like a lot of parameters, has duplicate versions that share the same descriptive param Name in a viewport element.
Apparently the reason for this might be legacy issues, though im not sure. Thus, when I was trying to get/set detail number, it was somehow grabbing the incorrect read-only parameter occasionally, one that is called "VIEWER_DETAIL_NUMBER" as its builtIn Enumeration. The correct one is called "VIEWPORT_DETAIL_NUMBER". This was happening because I was trying to get the param just by passing the descriptive param name "Detail Number".Revising how i get/set parameters via builtIn enum resolved this issue. I have been using NetSuite for only a short time, and already hate it. I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but I haven't been able to find an answer so far, either in the Netsuite docs, StackOverflow or other websites. In fact, the answers I found have resulted in an error.
My company requires a script to transfer inventory based on an EDI input file. Reading the file is no problem, even parsing it is working. However, actually inserting the data is proving problematic.
I have been able to insert normal records, but Inventory Transfer records are giving me problems.
From Stack Overflow I found and adapted some code into the following:
var xfer = nlapiCreateRecord("inventorytransfer");
xfer.setFieldValue("trandate", FormatDate("20160101"));
xfer.setFieldValue("location", 9);
xfer.setFieldValue("transferlocation", 9);
nlapiSelectNewLineItem('invt');
nlapiSetLineItemValue("invt","invtid",1, 189);
nlapiSetLineItemValue("invt","adjustqtyby", 1, "5");
nlapiCommitLineItem('invt');
var id = nlapiSubmitRecord(xfer);
The FormatDate function just exchanges the date from the text file into a system date NetSuite can understand.
However, when I run this code I get the following error:
USER_ERROR: You must enter at least one line item for this transaction.
I thought inserting the line item was the reason to use nlapiSelectNewLineItem, but I guess not. Also nlapiCreateNewLineItem doesn't seem to exist.
The values I am inserting are all just test data, as I'm testing this in the debugger. Location 9 exists, as does item 189.
My full script finds these id's based on string values from the text files. But since this is the section that doesn't work I have set it apart to test.
Can anyone help with this?
You did not specify the type of script you are using, but, looks like you are not setting the fields on the record object, but, setting the value on current record. Below, is the suggested code.
Also, there is no sublist named invt, it should be inventory. Also, there is no field as such invtid, I think most probably you want to setup item, the field Id should be item. You might want to refer SuiteScript Record Browser as well for a help on correct Ids
var xfer = nlapiCreateRecord("inventorytransfer");
xfer.setFieldValue("trandate", FormatDate("20160101"));
xfer.setFieldValue("location", 9);
xfer.setFieldValue("transferlocation", 9);
xfer.selectNewLineItem('inventory');
xfer.setCurrentLineItemValue("inventory", "item", 189);
xfer.setCurrentLineItemValue("inventory","adjustqtyby", "5");
xfer.commitLineItem('inventory');
var id = nlapiSubmitRecord(xfer);

Unfortunately we have a special folder named "_archive" in our repository everywhere.
This folder has its purpose. But: When searching for content/documents we want to exclude it and every content beneath "_archive".
So, what i want is to exclude the path and its member from all user searches. Syntax is easy with fts:
your_query AND -PATH:"//cm:_archive//*"
to test:
https://www.docdroid.net/RmKj9gB/search-test.pdf.html
take the pdf, put it into your repo twice:
/some_random_path/search-test.pdf
/some_random_path/_archive/search-test.pdf
In node-browser everything works as expected:
TEXT:"HODOR" AND -PATH:"//cm:_archive//*"
= 1 result
TEXT:"HODOR"
= 2 results
So, my idea was to edit search.get.config.xml and add the exclusion to the list of properties:
<search>
<default-operator>AND</default-operator>
<default-query-template>%(cm:name cm:title cm:description ia:whatEvent
ia:descriptionEvent lnk:title lnk:description TEXT TAG) AND -PATH:"//cm:_archive//*"
</default-query-template>
</search>
But it does not work as intended! As soon as i am using 'text:' or 'name:' in the search field, the exclusion seems to be ignored.
What other option do i have? Basically just want to add the exclusion to the base query after the default query template is used.
Version is Alfresco Community 5.0.d
thanks!
I guess you're mistaken what query templates are meant for. Take a look at the Wiki.
So what you're basically doing is programmatically saying I've got a keyword and I want to match the keywords to the following metadata fields.
Default it will match cm:name cm:title cm:description etc. This can be changed to a custom field or in other cases to ALL.
So putting an extra AND or here of whatever won't work, cause this isn't the actual query which will be built. I can go on more about the query templates, but that won't do you any good.
In your case you'll need to modify the search.get webscript of Alfresco and the method called function getSearchResults(params) in search.lib.js (which get's imported).
Somewhere in at the end of the method it will do the following:
ftsQuery = '(' + ftsQuery + ') AND -TYPE:"cm:thumbnail" AND -TYPE:"cm:failedThumbnail" AND -TYPE:"cm:rating" AND -TYPE:"st:site"' + ' AND -ASPECT:"st:siteContainer" AND -ASPECT:"sys:hidden" AND -cm:creator:system AND -QNAME:comment\\-*';
Just add your path to query to it and that will do.
I have a script that opens a folder and does some processing on the data present. Say, there's a file "XYZ.tif".
Inside this tif file, there are two groups of datasets, which show up in the workspace as
data.ch1eXYZ
and
data.ch3eXYZ
If I want to continue with the 2nd set, I can use
A=data.ch3eXYZ
However, XYZ usually is much longer and varies per file, whereas data.ch3e is consistent.
Therefore I tried
A=strcat('data.ch3e','origfilename');
where origfilename of course is XYZ, which has (automatically) been extracted before.
However, that gives me a string A (since I practically typed
A='data.ch3eXYZ'
instead of the matrix that data.ch3eXYZ actually is.
I think it's just a problem with ()'s, []'s, or {}'s but Ican't seem to figure it out.
Thanks in advance!
If you know the string, dynamic field references should help you here and are far better than eval
Slightly modified example from the linked blog post:
fldnm = 'fred';
s.fred = 18;
y = s.(fldnm)
Returns:
y =
18
So for your case:
test = data.(['ch3e' origfilename]);
Should be sufficient
