I want to put custom attributes on properties in the generated classes, is that possible?
It's definitely possible. Is this SubSonic 2 or 3? It's doable for either one, but the question of where to find the templates is different depending on which one you're using.
Edit: For SubSonic 2, follow this link and look at the entry on "templateDirectory". For SubSonic 3, you probably have some .tt files in your VS Project you can mess with.
There's two ways to do this:
If you want to add them at generation time you can do what Skinniest Man suggests and modify the templates to add them.
If you want to add them manually things are a little more tricky and you'll need to create a 'buddy class' and apply your custom attributes to that. You can see an example for data annotations here which should illustrate the concept.

I'm working on an Orchard site where I want to document some code - a series of plugins and a set of commands that each plugin can handle.
So I'd like to have a page for each plugin, and a page for each available command, then somehow link the plugins with their supported commands.
On the plugin page, I'd like to have a list of all the commands supported by that plugin.
Conversely, on the page where each command is documented, I'd like to list all the plugins that support it. This seems to be a many-to-many relationship.
I'm happy with creating content types and I guess I'll create a 'Plugin' content type and a 'Command' content type. I expect the solution will somehow involve the use of queries. I'm not really sure how to tie it all together though.
I'm not really sure how to approach this. Has anyone got any suggestions for how to achieve this? Is there a way to do this just by configuration and defining new content types, or do you think I'll need to write code?
You can either use a content picker field configured for multiple items, or you can implement it following this doc topic: http://docs.orchardproject.net/Documentation/Creating-1-n-and-n-n-relations
One option is to us the Mechanics Module, which gives you a way to create relationships between parts either in your data migration or using the admin UI. See the Mechanics Documentation to find out more.
Currently, we're running revolution 2.2. On site_content, we have some tags that are ran for crawling twitter. I want to start tracking the number of results for each tag as results come in, to determine which tags don't return that many results, etc.
So I was thinking that I should create a new table (twitter_data), and have a foreign key that will link it to the search tag ID, which is stored in site_content.
What is the best path to accomplish this? Should I create my table then run the reverse schema tool, outlined here?

Probably not - if you can avoid modifying the core modx schema do so. an external table may be your best option, but requires a fair bit of work.
though if you can explain wht you mean by 'tags' a little better [html tags? snippets? content tags? not sure what you mean] there may be other options. for example. one of our clients wanted to count page hits [and didn't want to use google to do it] so all we did was to create a template variable bound to each page they wanted to count and then updated that appropriate variable by writing plugin to fire on the onpageload or onpagerender event. [I don't ermember exactly which or what it was called]
Basically, you may be able to do this by writng a plugin rather than trying to extend anything or add snippets/chunks.
I want to add a new section in control panel of liferay and within that section I want to have my custom-portlet. I did it using ext. However I want to do it with hook . Is it possible ?
I don't think it would be that easy with a hook, because of the following reasons:
You can't modify in a Hook - the class com.liferay.portal.util.PortletCategoryKeys which contains the keys for displaying the different sections. The different sections are hard-coded in this class in a String array ALL.
You can't modify the logic of PortalImpl#isControlPanelPortlet() which uses the PortletCategoryKeys#ALL to determine if the request in question is for a control panel portlet.
Then you also have another method which you can't modify with a Hook and is used extensively PortalImpl#getControlPanelCategory()

I have not tried this but I think if you need to do it with a hook you would have to change all those JSPs which make use of PortletCategoryKeys#ALL and the methods of PortalImpl as stated above, and provide your custom implementation for all these methods in the JSP.
I would really like to know how you implemented it with an EXT may be just the steps or the methods you have overridden. So that I can try to convert those in terms of a hook.

With the advent of Marketplace, ControlPanel has a new category named "Marketplace" and that section is introduced in a plugin. However, I never checked if 6.1 GA2 introduced a new section that this plugin just fills. Check the marketplace plugin if you can find a trace of this section implemented there.
On the other hand, nobody has yet named any section that definitely required a new section (though some have asked me how to solve the same problem). For this reason, you might want to re-think the requirement and choose one of the existing sections. If you don't, at least I'd be interested in the name and purpose of the new section - I might find a first one actually justifying this kind of implementation...
What is the best way to compare two CRM (2011) Solutions and find the differences?. We have two solutions one is QA-Solution other is Production-Solution, I want to find out the differences between them. Actually i need to apply all the changes on Production-Solution and then we will deploy that solution somewhere else by using CRM's Solution Import Export functionality.
The solution file contains the web resources, and an XML file that defines the solution. You should be able to unzip the two solution files, and use a file diff utility to compare the two folder structures. The results aren't going to be very pretty, but it shouldn't be too difficult to at least identify what web resources have changed, and what entities have been updated.

Be aware that any data changes (ie, creating new Contacts) you've made will not be found in the solution export. This also includes some other things like Duplication Rules, if you've made any....

Is there any way to enforce a template in Bugzilla to guide users fill in bugs descriptions ?
Actually, i'd like to put some markup texts in the bug description field and avoid the creation of custom fields.

Indeed, just check ../enter_bug.cgi?format=guided , which forms an example of the template feature. Half the work is already done for you.
The mechansism described under 6.2.5 Particular Templates (under the section called bug/create/create.html.tmpl and bug/create/comment.txt.tmpl) works pretty well for us. Even though you say you don't want to create custom fields, adding some arbitrary HTML is easy enough.
