We are running a application which will write files into another machine using Impersonate through WebService .But we are not able to write those files. We dont know how to grant permission to access the folder.
Help me.
I may be wrong but I think you simply need to right-click the directory you wish to grant the webservice rights to and go to the Security tab and then add the account the service will be running under to the allow list.
For example, we would have like asp.net#yourlocationname.local in my workplace.
Hopefully it is as simple as that.

I'll try to be as brief and comprehensive as I can.
Objective: To be able to upload PDF files generated after filling an HTML form to my personal OneDrive.
I have been looking into this for a few days now and cannot for the life of me figure out the proper way to set up the app and permissions in the Azure portal for this to work. I was initially using the Personal Microsoft accounts only option but quickly realized that would mean having to sign in. Then I tried the Accounts in any organizational directory (Any Azure AD directory - Multitenant) and personal Microsoft accounts (e.g. Skype, Xbox) option. So this seemed to be a step in the right direction as the end-user does not need to do anything. I could use Application Permissions which would work without a signed-in user. That is basically what I want.
This lead to another issue, Tenant does not have a SPO license. After looking up more, it seems that to use the OneDrive APIs, you need to have a subscription. Like I mentioned, I am using a personal account (free).
I also tried daemon (since I can use application permissions and work without a user signed in). But based on the Microsoft Graph Get Files Permissions, Only Delegated permission is supported for personal Microsoft account.
I am trying to achieve this through PHP and using the libraries that are recommended everywhere. I honestly think that I am finding this much more complicated than it really is but I really can't figure out where I'm going wrong.
In conclusions, I can't answer these questions:
Can a personal free account (with student subscription or not) be used to access OneDrive?
If so, what supported account type is ideal for this?
And finally, is there anywhere I can follow to do this?
P.S. I have tried a lot more things I mentioned here, so in case anyone thinks of something I should have done, ask me and I'll update you.
You have tried many and got many correct conclusions.
To make a personal account access the personal OneDrive, you have to use delegated permission. Application permission is not supported in this scene.
I know your requirement is not to sign in interactively. Unfortunately it's not supported to use ROPC flow for personal accounts.
So the only option is to use auth code flow or implicit grant flow. Both of them require you to sign in interactively.
In summary, uploading files to personal OneDrive using non-interactive login is not supported.
I have created visual studio online site using azure and backed by our company active directory.
And when going to user management site (example image, not my screenshot) in the search box I can see all the users from the active directory which means that I'm properly connected (I guess).
And here is the problem which I wasn't able to solve.
I would like to know if it is possible to automatically give read permissions to users from active directory that try to access the site.
Currently they can login, but when they access the site it says that they don't have permissions and I have to manually add them one by one and I don't want to do that.
Do I maybe need some special active directory group that I add there as a user or what? I'm not active directory admin so I don't have access to its settings.
Thank you for the help.
Currently VSO does not support AD groups. In addition, just because you assign a licence, does not mean that they should have permission to everything. You my be a special case, but the choice of access should be left to the Team Project owners.
I've had a look at this question, but when I've created the website I need to know what user to use for the pass-through authentication:
Looking at wwwroot in File Explorer, I can see it has IIS_IUSERS, which I tried giving full control to. I assume that the solution isn't to give it my admin account as authentication.
Before I deleted it, it was fine, so what have I missed? Maybe the original Default Website didn't use pass-through Authentication or maybe I'm missing something else.
What's the correct solution?
I want to move a page between sites from a site collection.
I am getting result as :-
Operation Failed.
Access Denied. Not enough permission.
When I login as Site administrator, I can move page between sites.
The user with contribute permission cannot move pages between sites.
Please help me for this issue...
It looks like the permission level issue.
Instead using the default permission levels (Contributor in your case, which has no rights to manage web), you should probably create a custom permission level that has permissions fits your need.
Please go read

Hope it helps
James is correct, you need more permissions.
If you don´t wan´t to add those permissions to the users you could create your own "move" function that uses elevated permissions to do the copying. Things to look out for though is that you would have to "restore" the current users credentials on the createdby and modifiedby columns after the move since those will be sharepoint\system when elevated.
I set up a website and I created a folder names (docs) in the website as Virtual Directory with some documents.
Therefore the URL is xxxxxxyyyyzzzz.com/docs
The problem is that when i try to access xxxxxxyyyyzzzz.com/docs/1.doc, Authentication is required. Can you tell me how to remove this and leave any user access this folder with any restrictions?
David
Not really a programming question, but if you lauch IIS manager, right click on your virtual directory, click Edit under Anonymous access and authentication control, choose "directory security" and select "anonymous".
You will also need to make sure the anonymous IIS account has read access to the directory in question (the account is shown on the screen where you enable/disable anonymous access).
Here are two support documents that assist 1.) with the [setup of Virtual Directories][1], and 2.) [how to manage folder permissions in IIS][2].
I hope that this gives some guidance for you.
Check you have anonymous access allowed with a valid account under Properties| Directory Security | Authentication and access control | Edit...
