We are interested in trying to import an Excel spreadsheet into our Blog.

We are interested in a program or method that would allow us to just import the Excel spreadsheet into our Blog instead of having to hand input all the data, which is what we are doing now.

Well, outside of creating a program (which is possible, using PHP, Perl, Java, etc and either an excel input module or converting to CSV or XML and processing that)...
Have you considered using Google Documents or another online spreadsheet software? It's easy to import an excel spreadsheet, and then embed the spreadsheet in the blog post or webpage. Then if you need to change it, modify the google document spreadsheet and the changes are rendered on the webpage or blog post immediately.

The easiest thing might be to use Google Docs. Upload your spreadsheet, then publish from Google Docs to your blog. See this article.
Can your blog consume XML? You can set up an XML Schema in Excel 2007 and just export it to an XML file. You would need to write an XSLT.
I also have a macro that will write out XML to a file... can upload that if it would help...
If your spreadsheet is generated by a macro, you could just modify a macro to generate html or some other sort of blog markup ready for copy and paste.
Excel can save as HTML, which you could then strip the metadata from and use in your website. Unfortunately the HTML that it generates is very bloated. If you do not mind client lock-in, you could consider embedding the XLS file directly on your website, and having your viewers use the IE embedded excel viewer.
If you can use ASP.NET you could use SpreadsheetGear for .NET to load an Excel workbook, grab values, formatted values or even images to display on a web page. There are live ASP.NET samples with source if you want to check it out.

I would like to generate multiple pdfs at once. Those pdfs should pull data from a database. It can be an excel table or a relational database, doesn't matter, I can create whatever.
Using excel and javascript in adobe acrobat pro I managed to pull data into a template pdf, but for every record (row) I have in excel table I have to manually generate one pdf, then another, and so on.. and there are a lot of records, so I would like to do that automatically if possible.
Is there a way to do that? Any suggestions?

Look into the Acrobat SDK, Section: "Interapplication Communication" to learn how you can control Acrobat via VB/VBA and how you can work with the JavaScript Object (JSO).
Then have a look into the "Acrobat JavaScript Scripting reference" and look at
the Doc Object with commands like .. addField and at
the Field object to set the properties of the fields.
That should do what you want, Reinhard
PS: With Open Office you can save spreadsheets as PDF and with newer version of Excel too. Wouldn't that be already enough or perhaps a mix of above and this.

You then specify what your variables are in a Word document (e.g., name, last name, date of birth). The software will process the Word and Excel files and return PDFs for you.

If you need to parse html tags/portion to Excel spreadsheet using Aspose.Cells for .NET, you may use Cell.HtmlString attribute to set your desired html code segment in a cell, it will be parsed accordingly in the generated Excel file. Mind you, not all the html tags are supported at the moment.
Aspose.Cells for .NET also supports to convert an Excel file to Html file directly, see the documents on which file formats are supported for conversion, it may help you for your reference:

I am developing a small excel plugin. As part of it I need to convert my excel document to PDF format. How can I do that? All the plugins and printers that I've found do not convert links created by the hyperlink function.
I know this is not programmatically related per say, but I am developing this software, and vba is quite a reasonable solution.

I'm not sure any solution will work using the hyperlink function. The reason is typically the convert to PDF functions like a printer driver and the 'printer' only gets the helper text information not the underlying URL. But, using PrimoPDF, any text formatted like a URL "http://www.stackoverflow.com" for example, will get converted to a clickable URL (in the modern readers).
I wish to pull data from a large SQLite database into Excel. I'll want to do so quite interactively so don't want to export CSVs or anything like that. I have seen the sqliteodbc website on ch-werner.de but does that work with Excel 2007?

Actually I have gone through the ch-werner.de file mentioned in the question and it works well, even in Excel 2007. Simply make sure to register your database using the ODBC option in the Windows control panel.
Excel recognizes XML and the format is something like this:-

You might want to create a sample of the output you want in Excel, save it as XML data. Open your regular text edit, and voila... you got the XML skeleton.
Now programmatically converting SQLite to Excel, that's another thing. You didn't mention what language you're conversant with.
Does anyone know of resources that can help me export simple contents of a GridView to a native Excel 2007 format (i.e. the OpenOfficeXML format).
I've already seen solutions like Matt Berseth's, and in fact I have been using that for a while, but it comes with an annoying warning produced by Excel 2007 as documented here stemming from the fact that a native Excel file is not generated; rather it is HTML.
My initial research shows that, at the core, xlsx files are zip files, but I have no idea how to produce these or what goes in them.
Any suggestions (or tutorials) would be greatly appreciated.
CarlosAg has an ExcelXML writer which works really well. It isn't a native excel 2007 formatted file, but it will be readable in excel 2007.
You will need to write a little method to do the exporting manually, the API is very straight forward though. You will create a sheet object, then a row object, then a cell object. You can just loop through your data and output it. The examples on the site are pretty decent.
I prefer using Microsoft's own Open XML Format SDK. It is free, it is released by Microsoft and it creates real .xlsx files.
You can find the reference documentation here, as you can see, it is pretty straightforward to use.
SpreadsheetGear for .NET can read and write native xls and xlsx files and is easier to use (takes less of your time) than other solutions because it has an Excel like API so you don't have to learn anything about Open XML.
