Sharepoint List View Settings - sharepoint

We have created a new List View Style that shows thumbnails from a picture library, we have added a HyperLink Column and made the View style map the HyperLink url to an anchor tag.
The intention is that when the Content Managers want to create a image based list of hyper links they just have to create a Picture Library, and then add a web part view, and set the style to our new definition.
Its working OK - we have turned off lots of the toolbars, titles, borders etc - BUT there still remains a "Sort Bar" at the bottom that allows the user to change the order of the list.
We want the option to turn this off - but we can't find the setting that turns it off.
Does anybody know?

UPDATE
Looks like I am wrong and you will have to use the CSS to hide the style bar.
It does feel a lot like a hack, but it has proven to be one that we have used out of a desire for some practicality in the developement costs.
Bugger!
ORIGINAL
You can edit the vwstyles.xml file in the 12 hive (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\TEMPLATE\GLOBAL\XML). This controls exactly how the views look.
Unfortunately it is very ugly xml to render html.
I recommend you create your own vwstyle in the xml and set the style of the view to use the newly created one.

Resizing the actual Tabs in a (Godot) TabContainer, is it possible?

Given some Tabs in a Godot TabContainer, I'd like to resize the actual Tab-elements (not the container they're a part of.
Given that so many things are customizable, it seems like these would be too, but so far I haven't found how. The question How to resize a Tab, sounded promising, but the "Custom Style" that it referred to, doesn't seem to exist - or at least didn't appear in a help-search.
Update: The given answer got me closer. There's a lot of variables, it's definitely not production-ready, but it does at least, appear possible to modify the size of Tabs. And just realized that one of the variables is Content-Margin, I had edited just Margin, to create this picture.
You have to learn about themes in Godot to resize your elements.
In the editor select the TabContainer, in the Inspector search the Theme property, and in the Theme variable below you can load a theme or create a new one for your project.
If you create a new theme there will be a file with a extension ".tres". Double click on that file to edit the aspect of different elements for your project.
I will try to add more detail. If you edit your theme file ( .tres), with the Type: TabContainer, you can override the multiple StyleBox of the Tab. I tried with the tab_fg, click on the plus sign, later in [Empty], New StyleBoxFlat, click on the new StyleBox Flat created in the field, and edit it in the Inspector. Edit the Expand Margin values, and also the Content Margin values.
You can also increase the font size, overriding the font with a New Dynamic Font, selecting it and editting it in the Inspector, in settings-> Size.

Using OpenView in Domino Designer

When I use OpenView in Domino Designer, all the Views are presented in the Menu Bar. How can I make sure that only one view is presented and at the same time do not hide the other Views so I can use them to other Hotspot Button. Thank you.
The easiest is to create an outline with the views. You can organize the views in expandable groups, specify icons for each view, and much more.
You then create a page where you insert the outline, set the fonts and formatting, etc.
Finally you create a frameset and put the page with the navigation menu in one of the frames.
I created a simple template with all this several years ago, you can find it at http://blog.texasswede.com/free-application-templateframework-for-notes/
Download it and take a look at how it's done there.

How do I modify a libreoffice impress layout?

I just received a new slide to work with; it was created with powerpoint, so, I naturally converted it to impress. The master page was converted alright, background is correct, items positioned in the right places but now I need to adapt the current slide layouts to work with the master template. The default positioning for the layouts are not compatible with the master page. The title, per example, gets misplaced above the logo.
So, here is my question: how do I change the default layouts for my presentation? I want to change the default position for the text components in a way that it is reusable.

How to align an image in a xe:inputRichText (or HTML pass-through)?

I'm using the Domino 8.5.3 <xe:inputRichText> control for end-users to add web content. The control has the basic feature to add an image, but no "align" settings to float text around the image (ex. <img align="right"> ), which is so common with basic HTML.
One work-around tried is to use a 2-column table, which works, but not as well (especially, when re-sizing the window).
Any ideas for a work-around? Is there anything similar to 'Pass-thru HTML' in a inputRichText control?
Try to set toolbar style to large and then simply switch to HTML source (the last but one button) and change it whatever You like:

Sharepoint search button customization

I am working on SharePoint Branding project, where i need to change the whole sharepoint look and feel according to Clients design guidelines/Visual Designs.
happy part, most of the branding is done but still i am facing problem with SEARCH BUTTON of sharepoint. Ia m not able to replace this default button with my designed button.
any direction ll be great help
What we did was replace the delegate control of the search button with our own, using a feature. In that feature we specified our custom image for the button.
This might help - http://labs.steveottenad.com/reskin-restyle-a-sharepoint-2010-search-box/
When we customised the search box we hide the default img for the search button using css and replaced it with a new background image.
You can't replace the default button with you own search button. You can however customize it to your needs using CSS styles. I have done the same thing. You can create your custom style to override the styles from the corev15.css file.
Create you custom styles css file, reference it in your page layout and just use it.
Hope that helps.
