How to get files from File Share in Storage Account that is in a disabled Student subscription

I have an Azure Student subscription that I moved from a directory to another, and the billing account still in the first directory.
The problem is that when the subscription reached the limit and was disabled, I cannot reactivate it or upgrade it.
I want to have the subscription back or get a temporary access to the files in the FileShare in order to download the files.
I tried reactivating or upgrading with the two accounts, and I got the same response
You don't have permission to upgrade
You must have an owner role for the billing account. Find a billing account owner at Access control (IAM) and ask them to grant you this role.
I tried moving the subscription back, but it cannot be moved because it is disabled.
You cannot get access to the files in the disabled Azure Student Subscription.
You have to reactivate it by upgrading the same subscription to Pay-As-You-Go Model.
I can see the similar issue registered in MS Q&A Forum #938350 where the user's requirement is to get the access for the files in Storage account file share on the Azure Student Subscription i.e., disabled and #DavePatric had been mentioned the solution to reactivate the subscription for recovering the files.
For reactivation steps and relevant information, refer to this MS Doc on Azure Student Subscription.

Add free Azure subscription to existing account

I had a MSDN Azure subscirption which has now expired. How to I add a free subscription to my existing account ? When I try to signup using using the Azure free subscription link using my existing account I says the account already had a free subscription and can add the free subscription. At the moment I don't have any active subscriptions and want to access the free subscription services in my existing account. Thanks.
You cannot add the free account to an already existing subscription. If you have Azure pass with credits you can add it to your existing subscription from here
if you want to start from scratch with a free 200 credits for the month, you can start fresh here.

Deactivation of microsoft azure

I don't active subscription on microsoft azure. I just signed in with my microsoft ID. I want to permanently delete my account so that I don't end up paying bills. So how can I completely deactivate?
PS: I don't have any active subscription on azure account.
Clean up Subscription. than mean delete all resource that you have created. So that you can avoid the further billing.
here you find the step to cancel the subscription.

Change my Azure subscription Tenant ID

Following article describe how to move resources between Azure subscriptions.
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/resource-group-move-resources/
However it says that both subscriptions must exist within the same tenant. Apparently that is not the case with my 2 Azure accounts and I didn't know until now that behind the scenes I have a Tenant ID linked to these accounts.
I'm now wondering how to get some of my accounts that I'm using for my company to be linked to a common Tenant ID.
Any ideas?
Updated answer for the new portal (early 2018).
Follow this link: How to associate or add an Azure subscription to Azure Active Directory to associate your subscription with the new tenant (directory).
Once you've done it, you can transfer between subscriptions.
Tenant here refers to Azure Active Directory (AAD) associated with your azure subscription.
The steps to change the associated AAD for an Azure subscription are described here.
The service admin of the Azure subscription, who is already a member of the current associated AAD, should also be member in AAD you want to associate.
Typically, existing AAD belongs to a Microsoft account. This accounts needs to be added to the target AAD.

Windows Azure Active Directory remove/transfer tenant domain

I joined to Windows Azure Active Directory beta trial when http://activedirectory.windowsazure.com was initially launched.
At initial process, site forced me to use a new LIVE account instead of the one I already have which is myname#live.com and also controls all my Azure services. Anyway, I did create a new one as myname#mycompany.com
Next, I did be able to create the active directory domain as mycompany#onmicrosoft.com and added my mycompany.com domain as secondary domain.
While ago, Active Directory tab appeared in Azure control panel and it came empty. So I assumed it needs to be link somehow but couldn't find anything about it.
After that, I tried to create a new domain but when I type mycompany into the name field of the create a directory page, it says "This domain is not unique" which is predictable since other live account holds the name.
Tried to delete entire account but didn't work. Also in here says :
"The original contoso.onmicrosoft.com domain name that was provided for your tenant when you signed up cannot be removed from your tenant."
Since I'm the owner of the both account, I would like to move (or re-create etc.) mycompany#onmicrosoft.com under my actual Azure account which is myname#live.com.
Please advise. Thank you!
I didn't realize you had an existing subscription you were looking to work wit. So what you are seeing is expected behavior as there is no subscription associated with your Azure AD account.
We are propping an update this weekend and Monday that will help you here. On Tuesday morning, do the following:
Log into Azure using your Azure AD account.
It will tell you that you have no subscription - set up a 90 day trial subscription - you will not be charged anything for this.
Click onto Active Directory tab in the Azure Portal.
Add a new user - and select to add a user with a Microsoft Account - specify the account that is the administrator of your Windows Azure subscription and make them a "global administrator".
Log off
Log in to Azure portal using the same Microsoft Account that you just added.
Go into Settings.
Click on administrators tab
Select your Azure Subscription
Click "add" in the tray at the bottom
Now add the Azure AD user account you would like to have be a co-admin on your Azure subscription.
That should do it. Now when you log in using your Windows Azure Account you'll be able to administer your Azure subscription.
Just a reminder - try this on Tuesday morning! We will have the update propped by then.
You can make this work though by creating a new 90 trial subscription - you do this on the page where you are being told there are no subscriptions associated with your account.
You need to log into Azure using your myname#mycompany.com account (the Windows Azure Active directory account you created).
To do that, go to the Azure Management portal - if you are already logged in using a Microsoft Account (formerly LiveID) you will need to log-out first - Then the left hand side of the login page you should see a link that says "Office 365 users: Sign in using your organizational account".
Click on that link, and now log into the Azure portal using your Azure AD Account (myname#mycompany.com). Once you do that, you should see your Windows Azure AD tenant in the Active Directory tab in the portal.
