How to disable this message in Azure - azure

Hi All,
Is there is a way to disable the option of presenting this message in Azure?
Is there's a policy that I need to configure NOT to show this message?
(i'm seeing this message in the file --> view/edit in (when i'm selecting the Image.
I've been trying to find the where can this policy be, but maybe there isn't one and I'm just wasting my time to find one.
But in the other hand it seems like this error is coming from somewhere...(right)?

I tried to reproduce the same in my environment I also got the same error like below
Note: This error is default Microsoft security notification you can't disable this message as there is an limit of editing file in azure portal. You can edit the file which is upto 2.1mb.
To confirm this, I try to edit file under 2.5mb error message doesn't appear I can able to edit the text file like below.
This limit is only for editing the text file not for uploading the file.

Setting desktop backgrounds via Azure Storage Containers using PowerShell not working

I'm trying to set desktop backgrounds for our users from Azure Storage using a PS script I'm hoping to deploy.
This script
It just isn't working!
For whatever reason, the script just stops calling at a certain point (line 142 onwards) and I can't work out why.
I've added Write-Hosts at certain points to see where it's getting to and it seems to be that return $Bloblist which doesn't run or go any further.
I can see from the logs that it's showing 'Adding content file from Azure Storage Blob to return list: Background-01.png' etc., but that's it. This tells me that is not a permission error as it is looking where it needs to.
I just can't work out why it's not returning that Bloblist.
If anyone could help that'd be super, as we need to change the desktop backgrounds for every user in the company due to a company name change.
Thanks a lot!
The problem is (probably) not with the script. The problem is likely due to a setup misstep.
You need to debug the code and find out where it's failing to do what you expect.
You could try this or if videos are your thing you could try this.

I am popping a New Web Deploy Permissions Error

My first publish attempt (for a site that I've been publishing for months with no problem) post-.NET 6 is generating this error.
Unable to perform the operation ("Create File") for the specified directory ("C:\inetpub\ECM2\wwwroot\Identity\lib\bootstrap\LICENSE")
I'm publishing as the Administrator and, as indicated, this has been working for months.
I was having the same issue. I'm using web deploy from VS to an Azure App Service, changing the setting 'Remove additional files at destination' to true fixed it. It's found in the settings for the publishing profile.
My first inclination was to tick the 'remove files' box as well. This allowed me to publish the site but it also had a follow-on effect (for anyone else with this issue).
I didn't consider that this would also delete the web.config file, the absence of which caused a very ambiguous 403 error.
Reconstituting web.config on the server took care of that.
Here's the error I received as well. I clicked on "Remove extra files" in the publisher profile and the error went away.

Azure - cannot collect custom logs using Log Analytics

My goal is to collect some custom logs in Azure Monitor from an external VM running on Linux. In that regard, I've installed the log analytics agent according to the MS official documentation, I ran the wizard in order to setup a custom log - that includes a sample file, a row delimiter and a location from where to collect the logs. However, I'm getting a warning message saying:
Two successive configuration applications from OMS Settings failed – please report issue to github.com/Microsoft/PowerShell-DSC-for-Linux/issues (1)
Tried to follow the link proposed that points to Github where I wasn't able to find any solution (nor on any other link) on this and that's why I said to give it a change and ask the community in here.
Though, it is weird that the heartbeat of the machine or manual syslogs messages are being collected except for the custom logs.
Has anyone encountered this and managed to overpass it? Thanks
Apparently, according to the MS answer, the above warning message is normal to be displayed. However, the reason for not collecting the logs was that in the target file that has to be processed by the oms agent, you need to keep appending new entries because this triggers the oms agent which compare and check if the file has new entries than at the last check.
Hope will help someone!

invalid service definition or service configuration

I have a standard Azure build -- one web role, one worker role. After the latest merge, it has decided that the roles are invalid. When I double click on the web role or worker role, or when I right click and choose "Properties", I get a grey screen saying "Invalid service definition or service configuration. Please see the Error List for more details". However, there is nothing at all in the Error List.
I have cross-compared the Settings elements and tried commenting out sections of the csdef and cscfg files, but nothing seems to bring the roles back to life. I have wasted half a day on this already. My question is not so much "What is wrong" -- more like, how on Earth are you supposed to find out what the error is when no information is given and successive blanking out of code draws a comprehensive blank?
I've run across this a couple of times (VS 2015 Enterprise). Simply closing and re-opening the solution resolved the issue.
In this case, nothing was wrong with the csdef and cscfg files. It was the way the wadcfgx files were linked to the roles.
I'm on a branch that is using Azure 2.5; the other branch is on a previous version of Azure, that uses the older version of diagnostics. By deleting the existing wadcfgx files and re-generating them, I was able to make the roles visible and editable again. Having different versions on different branches does, of course, open a very large can of worms, but we're stuck with that difficult situation for the time being.
Check if the VM Size specified in the configuration is Small or Extra Small as it doesn't support more than that on local emulator. In my case it was defaulted to Standard Size VM. I changed the size to Extra Small and it started working fine!
I just ran into this after adding a new Worker Role project to an existing cloud service with a few existing Worker Roles.
In my ServiceConfiguration.Cloud.cscfg, I had a <NetworkConfiguration> tag in between the old roles and the new role. This was the problem. I simply moved the <NetworkConfiguration> tag to the bottom as it was before (this tag is not in my ServiceConfiguration.Local.cscfg file, which might've been the problem).
Probably not the most common cause of this problem, but figured I'd post on the off chance someone has similar settings.

What does ERROR_AZURE_DRIVE_DEV_PATH_NOT_SET mean?

I am trying to attach a cloud drive as described here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg466226.aspx#bk_Storage but I get the error ERROR_AZURE_DRIVE_DEV_PATH_NOT_SET ?
What does this mean? I've tripled checked my config at it seems ok.
I am trying to connect the cloud drive in a Windows Service on a VM Role.
I discovered that the FixMSI.js script from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg466226.aspx#bk_Install was failing. For some reason $(BuiltOutputPath) was empty. I did it relative to the $(ProjectDir) instead.
It then failed with a different error (and much earlier). CloudDriveException 0x80070103.
Searching for this gave me this article which basically told me to manually edit the driver inf file for the wa miniport. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsazure/hh708321.aspx.
Now it attaches ok. The strange thing now is that the device has a warning when the vm starts (but only when hosted in azure), I have to manually go into the vm on azure and update the driver.
try to change BuiltOutputPath to BuildOutputPath. According to Richard, this is an error in the document. Refer to the Community Content section on the document for more information.
