'CGO_CFLAGS' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

I am getting an error while compiling make file using mingw64. I have already installed go in my system
C:\Users\geogi\Downloads\magicard-recover-master\magicard>mingw32-make makefile windows

I tried to install go but still issue not resolved. I have also added go to environment variables.

Mozilla syncstorage-rs installation / make fails under RHEL8

I'm currently trying to install Mozilla syncstorage-rs on a RockyLinux machine, and step by step I could reduce the amount of errors, but now I got stuck. I found in Makefile to execute the following command in case of SSL trouble, so I did so cargo build --features grpcio/openssl
and this is fine, this finally works:
cargo build --features grpcio/openssl
Compiling syncstorage v0.10.2 (/var/www/html/syncstorage-rs)
Finished dev [unoptimized + debuginfo] target(s) in 35.59s
But when I try to now run either make run or make test or anything else, I just get:
= note: /usr/bin/ld: /var/www/html/syncstorage-rs/target/debug/deps/libopenssl-dc6f50ea1194640f.rlib(openssl-dc6f50ea1194640f.openssl.9bacb62b-cgu.1.rcgu.o): undefined reference to symbol 'OPENSSL_cipher_name##OPENSSL_1_1_1'
//usr/lib64/libssl.so.1.1: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
= help: some `extern` functions couldn't be found; some native libraries may need to be installed or have their path specified
= note: use the `-l` flag to specify native libraries to link
= note: use the `cargo:rustc-link-lib` directive to specify the native libraries to link with Cargo (see https://doc.rust-lang.org/cargo/reference/build-scripts.html#cargorustc-link-libkindname)
error: could not compile `syncstorage` due to previous error
make: *** [Makefile:45: test] Error 101
What am I missing? I thought after building it could be run easily.
So the answer is to use cargo clean before continuing. I don't know why, but there seemed to be some old artifacts even if I hadn't built before. However, after executing cargo clear command, the build openssl runs completely (many lines more than before) and after that, there is one more little step to do:
python3 -m venv venv # creates a virtual environment named "venv"
source venv/bin/activate # enters the virtual environment
python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt # installs the packages
and finally make run works.
For more details, see https://github.com/mozilla-services/syncstorage-rs/issues/1241
See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdtoyIW4Lec
for a step by step instruction.

Cygwin -- installing `tcl-devel` packages does not provide header files

I have some makefile that is used to compile a program. During compilation I get an error:
In file included from kernel/driver.cc:20:
./kernel/yosys.h:81:12: fatal error: tcl.h: No such file or directory
81 | # include <tcl.h>
| ^~~~~~~
compilation terminated.
make: *** [Makefile:696: kernel/driver.o] Error 1
Then I rerun Cygwin setup application and install new package tcl-devel. I restart the Cygwin terminal and try again. The same error pops up. I don't understand! Why aren't headers found?
My tcl and tcl-devel are both of version 8.6.11-1.

build octave package from source

I want to install octaviz package in octave software.
From the documentation there is stated:
-You'll need octave 2.1.53 or later and VTK CVS to build octaviz. To compile octaviz, run ccmake . in the root directory of the source tree, then make and finally make install.
I first ran ccmake ., and it completed successfully after I installed some libs that I was missing.
But, the I ran "make" and it exits with the following errors:
>> make
[ 1%] Built target vtkWrapOctave
[ 1%] Building CXX object Common/CMakeFiles/octaviz.dir/octaviz.o
/home/user12345/octave/octaviz/Common/octaviz.cc:31:24: fatal error: octave/oct.h: No such file or directory
#include <octave/oct.h>
^
compilation terminated.
make[2]: *** [Common/CMakeFiles/octaviz.dir/octaviz.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [Common/CMakeFiles/octaviz.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2
Any idea what I am missing here?
You are missing the octave/oct.h header. This usually means that you don't have Octave installed. If you do have it installed, maybe you are missing the header files and shared libraries (if you are using Linux, did you install octave's -dev or -devel packaqes?) If you have them installed, you must have ran the configure script incorrectly. Either specify the correct options or set the CXX_FLAGS. If you don't know about compiler flags you probably should not change them and instead figure out how to install the octave libraries correctly.

libvpx configure script wrong path for Visual Studio 2012

I'm trying to build libvpx 1.3.0 under Visual Studio 2012 (vs11) under windows 8.1 (x64).
I read the build prerequisites (http://www.webmproject.org/code/build-prerequisites/) and configured libvpx as following:
./configure --target=x86-win32-vs11 --disable-examples --disable-docs --disable-unit-tests
After the configure i do a make, without errors. But when i lauch the solution under Visual Studio and try to build, i get those path error:
1>------ Build started: Project: obj_int_extract, Configuration: Release Win32 ------
1> obj_int_extract.c
1>c1 : fatal error C1083: Cannot open source file: '.\\home\Thomas\libvpx-v1.3.0\build\make\obj_int_extract.c': No such file or directory

2> 'obj_int_extract.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

========== Build: 0 succeeded, 2 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========
I tryed both MSYS and Cygwin, same result.
Any idea ?
Ok, problem fixed:
The 1.3.0 snapshot seems to be faulty, cloning the git was the solution, it will probably be gone in the next snapshot.
Configured with Cygwin, MSYS was missing a perl module.
