Windowed mode emulator after Bumblebee update - android-studio

Today I updated my Android Studio from the Arctic Fox to Bumblebee 2021.1.1, and I realized my AVD and emulator windows changed a bit. They were on separate windows, now they are on the right side-menu.
I windowed the emulator again to get the old style, but the mobile-phone on the emulator is not separated from the menu. In the older version, I only had the phone as a separate window, I didn't have window bars and side fillers that are marked on the picture below. How can I get rid of them and only get the phone instead of the whole window? I don't want it as "emulator window" but rather plain "phone".

If you want the old look in Arctic Fox, go to
File->Settings->Tools->Emulator and unselect "Launch in a tool window".
This way it will launch it seperately which is the same as in the old version.

For Mac go to Android Studio Preferences - Tools - Emulator and uncheck Launch in a tool window.

How to make my emulator shows up outside of my android studio?

Recently, I updated my android studio to bumblebee version, and when I run my codes, I realized that my emulator are shown inside of my android studio instead of creating a new window for the emulator. you can see what I mean, here.
does anybody knows how to fix this? I already tried to change the settings but nothing is changed. should I reverse the update?
I had the same issue, to resolve it do the following:
In Android Studio: click on
File,
Settings,
Click on the Tools dropdown,
Emulator,
uncheck the "Launch in a tool Window" box
Settings with Launch in a tool window checkbox

Android Studio Emulator no more considering Swipes on Notebook Touchscreens as Input

I upgraded to Android Studio Bumblebee 2021.1.1 and realized that I cannot fully control the emulator with the touchscreen of my notebook anymore. Press events on the touchscreen (like mouse clicks) are still recognized correctly, but when I swipe nothing happens in the emulator.
Unfortunately, I did not note down the previous version of Android Studio that I had installed before, but with previous Android Studio versions I was always able to fully control the Android emulator via the touchscreen (as if I was actually testing my app on a real mobile phone).
My Google searches did not show any results related to this issue. Does anyone have an idea what the root cause could be and if it is possible to fix it?
Disabling launch in tool window in Settings::Tools::Emulator fixed it for me (requires emulator restart to take effect).

Arctic Fox: Android emulator doesn't have back button

When creating emulator in AVD manager, enable hardware button was checked but there is still no hardware button below. It is android studio Arctic Fox and API level 30. Anything wrong with android studio? It is on macOS Big Sur.
You may try re-installing the emulator...
In case it doesn't work, check in your Emulator Android Settings, like their in our Android Phone that Full-Screen Display is disabled.
Settings > Display > Full screen display > Enable Buttons (Disable Full screen gestures)
When API level is reduced to 27, the emulator has hardware button and other features Android phone has.

Touch Bar icons not showing for Android Studio after update

I'm using a MacBook for the first time.
I had Android Studio 4.0 or 4.1 (I think) installed. It used to show me all the icons in the Touch Bar like the green run icon and the debug icons so I could use them directly from there. Even when in debug mode I used to get all the icons for stepping over or stepping into code.
After that I updated Android Studio 2-3 times and I am currently on Android Studio 4.2.1 and it has stopped showing any of the Touch Bar icons for Android Studio since the first time I updated. There are times when debugging that the debugging icons show for a while and then suddenly disappear. I'm facing this issue only with Android Studio.
According to another answer online, I am supposed to have a folder for Touch Bar (Settings) under Android Studio: Preferences > Menu and Toolbars but I don't have and folder for Touch Bar Settings there.
Can any one help me resolve this issue?
Thanks

To resolve this issue, revert any customizations you have made to those buttons as follows:
Select File > Settings (or Android Studio > Preferences on macOS).
On the left of the window, navigate to Appearance & Behavior > Menus and Toolbars.
On the right side of the window, navigate to Main Toolbar > Toolbar Run Actions and select Run/Debug.
Near the top of the window, click Revert. and select Restore Run/Debug.
Click OK. You should now see the missing buttons in the toolbar.
Open Terminal and type the following commands:
mkdir -p ~/Library/Frameworks/nst.framework/
cd ~/Library/Frameworks/nst.framework/
ln -s path/to/android/studio/install/Contents/bin/libnst64.dylib nst
This issue has been resolved after I upgraded to
Android Studio Arctic Fox | 2020.3.1
Build #AI-203.7717.56.2031.7583922
An interesting thing about Android Studio Artic Fox is that it has changed the versioning scheme to match that of it's parent product, the Intellij IDEA 2020.3.1. So rather than Android Studio 4.3 it is now Android Studio 2020.3.1 with code name Artic Fox. This will keep the versioning schemes systematic.
There are a lot of cool feature updates too.

How do you disable device frame on Android Studio 3.3?

I know this question has been asked before, but the answers are for older versions of Android Studio.
When I try creating a new virtual device, I no longer see a checkbox for "Enable Device Frame" and the emulator shows the frame by default. How do I hide it?
This has an answer here:
How to remove the device's frame on Visual Studio Emulator?
Open Android Device Manager from Visual Studio.
While your device is powered off, click the "..." in the top right corner
Select "Show in explorer"
Edit the file "config.ini"
Remove the skin.name and skin.path properties and save file
Start the device!

In my emulator option to hide frame is available here - try on your, and see if you have this potion
