Sharepoint 2019 search without Enterprise Search - sharepoint

Our organization has Sharepoint 2019 Server (On-Premise) licenses (via some partner subscription) and have bought Standard CALs.
So now we must deploy Sharepoint Server 2019 that would be legal to work via Standard CALs, without enterprise services: Excel Services, BCS, e-Discovery etc, and Enterprise Search too.
Is it possible to create a fresh Sharepoint farm without Enterprise Search, but still be able to search content?
Sharepoint Foundation 2010, for instance, had its own Search, limited, but still functional.
Does 2019 still have some "Standard Search" and if yes, how do I deploy it?

SharePoint Standard CAL supports these standard search features such as people and expertise search, visual previews, visual best bets.
Create a search service application and do a full crawl for the first use.

migartion sharepoint web application sharepoint 2013 to sharepoint online

actually i tried to migrate lists and document libraries from one site to another site in sharepoint 2013 and migrate sites also from 2010 to sharepoint 2013. But,I want to migrate web application from sharepoint 2013 to sharepoint online.
We are limited to creating Site collections only in SharePoint online. You cannot create/migrate the complete web application to SharePoint online in one go. You would have to migrate either a complete site collection or site level.
I have experience migrating with SharePoint migration tool from Microsoft (which is free software) and it worked well.
However, i would suggest to migrate individual site level as it would be easy to manage. I have tried migrating a site collection which failed after 40% and it was difficult to debug where the error was. I later figured it was the nintex form on a document library that was a culprit.
Good luck with your project!

TFS 2017 & earlier disable SharePoint integration

What will be the steps to disable and completely remove SharePoint integration on TFS 2017? Currently the documentation shows how to "Disable SharePoint integration after TFS 2018 upgrade".
Go to TFS Administration Console.
Click SharePoint Web Applications.
Click Modify against your server connection.
Choose Remove.
TFS 2018 and later versions no longer support native integration with SharePoint products.
With TFS 2017 & earlier you could still configure and use TFS-SharePoint integration, if you don't need the sharepoint feature any more. You could simply remove sharepoint feature.
For SharePoint, click SharePoint Web Applications and under the top section, click Modify against your server connection and choose Remove.

Difference between Office 365 preview and sharepoint online

I am new to sharepoint online. At first I need to know the difference between sharepoint online and office 365 preview.
Preview site: https://portal.microsoftonline.com/Admin/Default.aspx which looms like below.
I have also the below site
Now what is the difference between the two. My goal is to create apps and webparts. Which one shall i choose? I have not installed sharepoint 2013 server/ sharepoint foundation. Can i create apps and webparts without installing server2013/foundation2013?
The Office365 Preview is running on the new SharePoint 2013 platform. If you want to build and monetize apps/web parts, you would need to go with this option, as it is the
latest and greatest.
Go to http://dev.office.com to get all of the resources you need including links to the software, tutorials, documentation, etc...
Microsoft provides a free Office365 portal specifically for developers who want to build apps on the online platform. With this, all you would need is Visual Studio 2012 and the SharePoint/Office SDK installed to build apps. You would deploy and debug directly on the online portal without needing SharePoint installed on your environment.
I hope this helps.

Sharepoint Foundation 2010 Search Not Available

I've just completed an installation of SharePoint Foundation 2010 and I can't get searching to work.
In Central Administration, there is no service application listed for search.
When I go into the Manage Content Database Settings page, the option "Select Microsoft SharePoint Foundation search server" is greyed-out.
In the Services MMC, "SharePoint Foundation Search Service V4" is listed as disabled. I can get this service running for a short time, but eventually it stops and automatically reverts back to the disabled state.
What did we do wrong to make searching completely unavailable in our SharePoint Foundation 2010 installation? How do we get it fixed?
EDIT--->
I changed the log on account for "SharePoint Foundation Search V4" service. The service now starts automatically and is no longer disabled. However, when I go to Central Admin->Manage Service Applications, I still don't see a search service listed. I also still cannot assign a search server to the content databases.
I've tried repairing the SharePoint installation and rebooting the box. I feel like I'm one step closer - but I still don't have search functionality on the site.
EDIT #2--->
I checked the databases on this system and there is no search database listed. On our old WSS 3.0 system there was a database dedicated to search for SharePoint. I'm not sure if this database is missing from the 2010 Foundation server or if 2010 doesn't use a separate database anymore?
I've now got the search service running on my SharePoint Foundation 2010 Installation. Here's what I did:
In Central Administration, go to System Settings->Services on Server. (Note: Prior to this step - no WSS_Search_* database existed on the server)
Select the SharePoint Foundation Search service and click Start
Enter and/or confirm the settings on the Search service page
Press Start to start the service
Go to Manage Content Databases
For each content database in the SharePoint site - assign the correct search server (Note: This option was greyed out until after I started the service in "CA->Services on Server")
At this point search is now enabled on the server. I've verified that search is working correctly. However, I do note that the search service still does not appear in the CA->Manage Service Applications list)
With Sharepoint Foundation you must install Microsoft Search Server http://www.microsoft.com/enterprisesearch/searchserverexpress/en/us/download.aspx

How TFS integrates with SharePoint

I am looking to migrate some databases out of Visual Source Safe (VSS) and into Team Foundation Server (TFS). I know I am able to migrate from VSS to SVN, and then from SVN to TFS using a few tools that I have found (either free or purchased). The aim is to get the source code into TFS and then integrate the project with SharePoint so that various documents can be accessed from there.
How easy is it to set up TFS to integrate with SharePoint? What do I need to do?
What documents/files can/will be added to SharePoint? Does TFS choose for me or can I select what I want to appear in SharePoint?
Any examples or information on how TFS integrates with SharePoint would be appriciated.
The instances are separate. The files stored in SharePoint are not in the version control library and vice-versa. There is a web interface to the source control library available outside of SharePoint.
Each Team Project in TFS has an associated SharePoint portal. What we do is version control all of our software in TFS, and store all of our documentation in the SharePoint portal that corresponds to the team project. We made sure to turn version control on within SharePoint so we can retrieve previous versions.
On the odd occasion that we do need to version control documentation alongside the source code (for audit reasons), we will store that in a documentation folder within TFS.
