When I click on usage of any function it shows me a dialog like below:
This makes my code navigation in native very slow. I'm using Android Studio Arctic Fox.
I have NDK(SideBySide) and CMAKE installed. I'm able to build and debug native code.
I feel it's some settings / configuration issue. In my native code I don't find usage of functions or variables like we do in Java. Any help/clue will be appreciated.
Finally I figured the answer. It was an indexing issue of Android Studio(AS).
So, I closed AS. Used VisualStudio for indexing my code. And later opened AS. And AS now able to find reference of native C code. Damn you AS..

I implemented a simple Javascript function, which allows the audio to be paused or start depending on if the window where the script runs is focused on or not, and it works on the web.
However, I noticed an issue when I try to implement it in android studio, even after enabling the JS as seen in the screenshot. Indeed, when I get out of the app, the sound is still running whether I click on the back or the home button.
I'd like to add as well that I'm a total beginner in the android studio IDE, but I wanted to know if I could maybe find an answer here. How to make my Javascript-script work in the android environment ?
Thanks in advance

In Android Studio V4.1.3 (build no. Al-201.8743.12.41.7199119) The Flutter UI guides for widgets and methods not showing at all even though it is enabled in the settings. Please, be kind to see the screenshot =>
no Flutter UI guides
I have Flutter Plugin V55.1.1 and Dart Plugin V201.9335 installed.
All your help is highly appreciated.
Thank you
You might be creating the new Flutter project and selecting Java for Android. But when you select Kotlin and create project. The issue will be fixed.
And if you want your old projects to be converted to Kotlin, just open the terminal in that project and run this
run flutter create -a kotlin .
The dot(.) at the end is also important it will generate the Kotlin files in current directory.
After this, just re-open the project, you'll get the guides.
I have the same android studio version as you and Flutter Plugin V55.1.1 and Dart Plugin V201.9380 installed. Getting the same issue. I have even tried to enable and disable the "Show UI guidelines for build methods" in Setting > Language & Frameworks > Flutter, but nothings work.
I cloned flutter/sample from GitHub and it seem that the UI guides is showing on that samples project.
My current (kinda easy cheat) solution right now is by creating a New Flutter application project via VS Code. And when I open that flutter project on Android studio, the UI guides is there. I have configure my VS Code with the recommended setting for Dart code.

I'm pretty new in flutter development but I'm pretty sure there might be something that we can configure on Android Studio seeing that generated project file from VS Code does shows the UI guideline. If someone know how do let me know. Cheers!
I have written a program using intellij and want to import the code into android studio but i can't find any tutorials that have this specifically.
I am only able to find using kotlin in andoid studio or convert from kotlin to java.
I know it will be easy and that I am not looking in the right places but could really do with a pointer, I have been trying to do it all day lol im starting to loose the will!
Thanks
Not sure if I understood your question correctly, but if you have a bunch of code files and wanna import your code into Android Studio, the easiest way is to just create a new Android Studio Kotlin project, copy your code files from your IntelliJ project to your new Android Studio project, then adjust the code for Android.
If you do it inside the programs instead of in the file explorer, it will even adjust the package names for you.
Here's what I mean exactly by inside the programs:
If you want to create an Android application with the code that you write in IntelliJ. You can create an app in Android Studio and paste the code in the right place(should be in onCreate method) and manage the way that you will show the result. Also you can create an Android application in IntelliJ with the Android plugin.
I'm looking for a way to use sketchappsources.com templates on android studio, I found out that the sketch official application is working only on MAC OS and there is an alternative called Lunacy (by Icon8) that works on windows, the problem is that even after importing the downloaded theme on lunacy I have no idea how am I supposed to get the xml/drawables that I can import into android studio, any one can help please?
Thank you
You can simply use some plugins which are created exactly for this purpose.
For example Sympli would let you to drag and drop your design into Swift or Android Studio in no time.
There is also some basic tutorial on their website for getting on board.
I'm using Node.js tools for Visual Studio 2015. All ES6 features under Node.js tools options are turned on. I've tried turning them off too. I've also tried setting JavaScript files not to display syntax highlighting.
Visual Studio displays tons of errors for files containing ES6 JavaScript (the content of the files are actually just fine by ES6 standards).
Interestingly, if I double click on any of the errors, I get a message
So, it seems that maybe VS is "double-inspecting" these files...and the second pass fails. Because if I open the file in question from solution explorer, there is no run underlining anywhere in the file?
I've spent a long time troubleshooting this. Is there any way to make Visual Studio work, a little bit?
What version of Node.js Tools for Visual Studio are you using? You may just need to update to the latest version.
I had this same problem with version 1.1.31117.00, but I'm not seeing it anymore with 1.2.40726.00.
