I am developing a flutter web application. When I share the link, the link looks like this:
First screenshot - when I tap on share

Notice that I changed Flutter default icon into my own icon in the /web/icons folder, which is ok.
Problem 1: The name is showing as the project (package) name (webcatalogo_shop). For Android and Ios I know ways to change the display name, but how to do this for Flutter web?
Second screenshot - after sharing (in this example, sharing via WhatsApp)

Same problem 1 above happens here, and I also found 2 other problems:
Problem 2: The Icon is showing as Flutter icon, even though I have replaced these in the /web/icons folder with my App's icon. I can't find Flutter images anywhere else under web folder.
Problem 3: It's also showing the project description "A new Flutter application." Where can I change this?
Can anyone give me some light on how to solve these? Thanks!
In your flutter project folder, you will have a web folder. In the Web folder open manifest.json. You can edit the name, description and icons properties.

And remember, to test a variation of your app icon, you'll need to include the icon assets in the binary of your app version that is currently live.
How should I create different app icons in Xcode 13, or is there any related documentation link? thanks~

You are right that Apple doesn't give too many details about it. You need to set up an alternate app icon in your binary. Here's a step by step tutorial on how to do it:
Create your app icon creatives (1024px x 1024px)
Set your app icon(s) in XCode as another App Icon in the Asset Catalog, fill in all the relevant sizes
Since Xcode 13, Asset Catalog supports Alternate App Icons and there’s a corresponding build setting we need to change to the target’s Build Settings:
Change the Include All App Icon Asset to Yes
Add the App Icon Set you added in #2 to the Alternate App Icon Sets setting, you can add more than one.
Change the Primary App Icon Set Name to the default app icon if needed
You need to upload your new build to review.
Only after your new build has been approved and your app is in Ready For Sale state, you may find your alternate app icons in the Product Page Optimization under the App Icon tab
Within Android Studio Flutter development environment, I'm choosing a picture from its Photo Gallery, getting its file path and saving the path in database as text, and later retrieve the file path to refer back to the picture in the Photo Gallery.
This works fine, but once I restart the app (again, all within Android Studio), then the picture no longer loads as that file path is no longer valid.
Is Photo Gallery somehow specific to each Flutter session or something? Thanks.
That will depend on how the native part is implemented and the plugin you are using. On Android when you request an image from the Gallery using an Intent, you may receive 'temporal access' to the file.
If you do not copy the image you may lose that permission to access the photo. You can ask the maintainer of the plugin or check if they use grantUriPermission to give access to the image file.
I wrote a simple Google Apps script and published it in the Chrome Web Store as an app (I guess "hosted" app. You can find the link here: http://bit.ly/1JTiKLC). I followed the instructions mentioned here:
https://developers.google.com/apps-script/guides/distribute-web-app
I specified all the required items in the checklist, AFAIK, including icons of the required size. The item is listed and I can download it. However, when it is added in the Chrome desktop launcher, it has the default "apps script" blue icon:
I want to change this but can't find any way to do so. The link above specifies that there is a way to do this for a new tab page (sec. Updating a web app's icon on the New Tab Page). First of all, I cannot see any link that says "specify an alternative image" anywhere as they say. Could someone elaborate on this. Secondly, is there a similar way to change the launcher icon for apps script webapps?
Ok, I found it. Here's the info for someone else who may have the same question: The link appears in the window just after you click "Publish>Register in Chrome Web Store..." in the apps script editor itself. It's not there in the developer dashboard. You can host the image publicly on any site which provides direct links, like imgur.
This will change the icon in the Chrome new page tab (or in "chrome://apps/") as well as the desktop launcher. Cheers :)
Does anyone know, where Win 8.1 gets the icons, used in the dialog, from?
In my case an app icon is corrupted (instead of mine, another app icon is used for my app), and I want to debug the issue. But for that I have to know, where is a source of the icons.
I've already inspected my .exe file resources, there is no other icons there but mine.
It turns out, that when an app is registering itself as matching some user's model, it should set the logo and background color. See AppUserModelId (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dd378459%28v=vs.85%29.aspx) for details.
As in the API documentation, I have created a ~/Spotify/myapp/index.html (on a Mac) but when loading spotify:app:myapp from the search bar in Spotify (preview version that supports apps) I get a "Sorry, I could not find this app" message.
What am I missing (this should be all for a "Hello World" according to the docs, right? Is there a way I can debug this to better understand the problem?
It sounds like you did not apply for being a developer at Spotify. Do you have a menu item called Develop and have the ability to right-click inside given apps?
If not, you need to have developer capabilities activated by Spotify. You can do so on their Site. Your account will probably not be activated instantly.
I just made a video explaining how to solve this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paqq3h1UJhU
Basically you need to go to the Spotify.app -> Contents -> Resources -> cef_views ; and drop your stuff in there.
Something else to keep in mind! I was trying to create my app with an underscore in the name, and for some reason it choked up the application. As soon as I removed the underscore and kept it to just letters, it worked fine. shrug
So according to the docs you posted yourself, you need, in spotifys current form, to name your folder appstore.
Your application will appear in the sidebar in future builds - for now, please name the folder of your application “appstore” to have it appear in the sidebar. Please name your application accordingly in the manifest, and that very name will appear in the sidebar.
What I got wrong is that insite "Spotify" folder you have to create "Tutorial" folder, in my case all the files were on Spotify and not in Tutorial.
