Python quits unexpectedly after returning from function - python-3.x

Running Python 3.7.9 on macOS Catalina v10.15.6. Never had this sort of issue come up. From other people, it looks like it's an issue when using libraries, however my code does not use any libraries and the file name is chessKnights.py, and it runs a recursive function that is fine for almost any values within the intended range, but breaks under certain values.

Xenomai 3.1 mercury prologue failed for thread running official demo

Hello I have the following problem running a Xenomai demo: "prologue failed for thread" EINVAL

What I have:
debian 10.10.0-amd64, installed inside a VirtualBox
xenomai 3.1 mercury installed and built for 32bit target
xenomai configure:
../xenomai-3.1/configure --enable-lores-clock --with-core=mercury --enable-smp --enable-pshared CFLAGS="-m32 -O2" LDFLAGS="-m32"
Maybe something is missing inside the underlying OS? Something to install?
Do you have some ideas?
Thanks a lot.

Python 3.7.0 and tcl/tk 8.6 crashing on Mac OS X 10.12.6

I'm trying to run a script under IDLE in a fresh install of Python 3.7.0 on a Mac running OS 10.12.6, but it appears to crash once it hits "root = Tk()".
The error generated is:

I have interrogated the tcl/tk library using:
print(root.tk.exprstring('$tcl_library'))
print(root.tk.exprstring('$tk_library'))
This reports the following:
/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.7/lib/tcl8.6
/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.7/lib/tk8.6
This appears to be correct given the information on Python.org here.
What should I be doing differently?

I had the same issue. I have reinstalled XcodeSystemResources.pkg package. You will find it in here:
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Resources/Packages/XcodeSys‌temResources.pkg
The installer will recreate /Library/Developer/PrivateFrameworks folder with its content. After that Xcode 9 started working for me.

I have gotten my project running on a Windows 10 laptop and now trying to get it running on a Windows Server 2012. I speculate that it might be due to the server not having a real GPU, but I am no OpenGL developer and it's all chinese to me. This is what the DXDIAG says:

So the process is as usual to install node-gyp, which is risky business. That requires Visual C++ Build tools, which is installed on the server. Python 2.7 is installed and I've run the commands that are stated in the Installation section: https://github.com/nodejs/node-gyp
Then I use headless gl to be able to create the WebGL context in Three.js. That requires d3dcompiler_47.dll, which is added to the system32 folder. https://github.com/stackgl/headless-gl
The thing is that the server is pretty locked.. I am not able to do npm install of modules due to self signed certificate, probably since I am not allowed to do jack on the server. Now I'm pretty much stuck.. I don't know if my error is due to some compiler not being installed, if a module needs to be installed on the server, if node-gyp is mocking with me or whatever. It's a complete mess. But the server do work on my own machine. Anyone that have encountered something like it and could point me in a direction? Would be greatful!
