In "/etc/bluetooth/main.conf", there seems a way to disable the cache:
[GATT]
Cache = no
What does exactly the "disable cache" mean? It means the "/var/lib/bluetooth/[MAC_ADDRESS]/cache" folder won't be created?
We tried to disable the cache by changing the "/etc/bluetooth/main.conf". It seems the "/var/lib/bluetooth/[MAC_ADDRESS]/cache" folder is still created even if it was deleted.
However, we noticed that the "[Attributes]" section in "/var/lib/bluetooth/[MAC_ADDRESS]/cache/[iPHONE_MAC]" file is gone. Does it mean the "disable cache" is working? Does it mean the handles used between the bluetooth and the mobile app won't be cached?
Thanks!

When I go to edit my editor_styles in Kentico 11, I get two windows. I've never seen this before and it doesn't happen in many other instances of Kentico that I'm running. Has anyone ever seen this before?
I tried clearing the cache, restarting the site, etc
EDIT: Just had to resign all macros and now all is ok again
Three things could cause this:
Cache. Could be browser cache or server cache so be sure you've cleared ALL your cache, especially if you've recently applied an upgrade or a hotfix.
Macro signatures from an upgrade or change in your hash string salt. Be sure to resign all your macros
Upgrade/hotfix application. If you've recently upgraded or applied a hotfix, it could be a dll mismatch or some js file which was not overwritten. Check the upgrade/hotfix log file for possible issues.
Basically took a backup from server and restored it on my machine. Everything seems to be displaying correctly. But when I go to my System Settings, there are missing settings. But when I check modx_system_settings, they're there. Also cleared cache multiple times, so that's not the issue it seems.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
there is a cache_system_settings and cache_context_settings... though if you have cleared cache multiple times. actually delete the files to verify. Is it possible that you have context settings that would be overriding system settings? It would be helpful to tell us what settings are "missing"
Are you sure that the you crosschecked the same database tables? Is the table modx_system_settings the same table that MODX installation has in use?
Another possibility could be a not writable cache file in core/cache/system_settings or core/cache/context_settings.
Found the answer for my case. Basically it was server related. Live server is using linux, so when I set it up on my local which is wondows based, I had to search systems settings in DB for "locale" and update the value to English. That fixed my system settings. Everything showing now.
I've had an issue with my browsers not showing an updated version of a file. Occasionally I will make a change, upload the file via FTP, and the file will immediately show. Other times, I'll clear the cache and hard refresh, and the updated file will take half an hour to show. Here is some info:
Tried on both Chrome and Firefox (incognito and private too).
When I try it on my phone, it shows up fine, and immediately the other browsers start showing correctly too.
Sometimes, even after the browsers start showing correctly, I'll refresh and it will go back to a previous version.
Originally had mod_expires on in my .htaccess, commented it out. No changes.
Website using Sucuri.net and MaxCDN. Sucuri caching is disabled.
Sucuri GZIP compression is enabled. I don't think this should affect anything.
MaxCDN is having trouble immediately purging their cached files and replacing them with the new files when I upload and purge. I assumed my issue is making this happen because I don't believe the MaxCDN implementation could affect my issue. (MaxCDN doesn't run all requests through their servers like Cloudflare.)
Sometimes MaxCDN will update immediately when I purge the file. As far as I know no consistent correlation with any action I take.
Is there something I have overlooked that could be making this issue happen?
I have a couple of Applications added under my Default Website in IIS8.5 (simply http on port 80 IP=*)
They point to different physical paths (which are not nested) and this works fine after adding such an application.
But after a while the Physical Path of one of the applications automagically changes to the physical path of another Application. Why?
I have flushed my DNSCache and removed and added the Application once again, but something is changing the physical path of my configuration.
What could be doing this? Could something be overriding my Application settings?
I have 2 sites in 1 solution, and one of the site's physical path in IIS was "randomly" changing to the other site's physical path, and I had to manually fix it each time. I finally found a way to reliably reproduce this issue.
It turned out if SiteB's project was reloaded independent of the rest of the solution (for example, I pulled from source control and Visual Studio prompted "SiteB's project file has changed. Reload SiteB?"), the physical path in IIS would change! I could easily reproduce this by right-clicking the project in Visual Studio and selecting "Reload project." If I reloaded only SiteA or SiteB, rather than reloading the full solution, the IIS path would change accordingly.
So the trick to preventing this from happening in the future was to always "Reload all" when presented with the option, and could be flipped back by reloading SiteA independently, if needed.
I think if the solution is set to use IIS, VS will modify whichever site is specified as the default URL on project load. Or something to that effect.
When I update my code, and refresh the page, my server doesn't reflect the changes! It is still loading the old file? (this is running locally). I really don't understand why!
What I mean is that say I make a mistake, or decide to change a line of code. I fix the mistake, or change the line of code. But when I refresh the page, it is as though I have not done so. The mistake or the line of old code still remains behind and that code is ran!
Why?! I am using node's http-server to run my server on a Mac.
Angular sometimes comes with minimizing tools. If this is the case, you have to build your app using these tools to regenerate the files your browser should load.
If not, then probably it is a simple caching issue and you should clear your browser's caches.
In firefox , press Ctrl+Shift+I , then click on the gear (settings icon) ,
look for the option DISABLE CACHE under Advanced Settings , check it , so that it doesn't cache your old code , instead display the new code .
Angular caches your template files. You need to clear the cache, Chrome Developer Tools comes with a setting to disable the cache while the developer tools are open.
