I have a client script in NetSuite 2.0 which is already running ,but if I am making any changes to it, the new changes are not getting reflected the script is still running with the old code.
Even if I try to add single log.debug it is not getting reflected when the script is running.
There are a couple of things to check:
first thing is if you are running in the UI then your browser probably cached the script so a ctrl-F5 to reload the page should fix things.
second you may not be updating the correct file. If you navigate to the script definition you can open the code directly and verify your changes are there.

I have a very simple NetSuite scrip that sets the value of the externalid when the record is saved. I have done testing on the SB account and it is working as expected. Copying the same configuration into the production account and the script is not executing. I've even added some dialog boxes to see if I can see any activity but there is none. The script is deployed, released and has "all roles" as the audience.
Any ideas what I can do to get the script to work?
Thanks.
Is your sandbox a very recent copy of Production? Does it have all the same scripts deployed as there is in production? You may want to look at the scripted record list for User Event Scripts in both environments, make sure they are the same.
You could also post your code here for us to look at it.
Currently when i enter the Update URL and that is triggered by the Setup.exe application, the user has no choice but to download the update. There is no prompt to the user as IF they would like to perform the update first or not, they are simply forced to download the update when one is found. My exe is 430MB so i don't want them to be forced to download that if they don't want to. Is there a way to intercept the check and ONLY download/update the exe if the user answers YES to a prompt? I see in the /debuglog file that the URL is checked than immediately starts the download and displays the 'ISDownloadProgress' dialog. But also shows that the 'InstallationWelcome' dialog is shown as well even though it is not. It must be hidden somehow i guess.
The Update URL setting is best suited for a downloading setup launcher which is itself quite small. Since downloading setup launchers can be invalidated if the resources they fetch are moved or removed, it doesn't let the user choose whether to get the updated launcher.
Since this behavior is not currently optional, you could file an enhancement request with the support team, or you could write a wrapper that performs a similar check.
I'm making an app in the Cloud9 IDE using Node.js with the Express.js framework. Something very odd is happening to a specific .ejs file where if I try to update it (like typing some mumbo jumbo in an h1 tag and then saving and restarting the server), it NEVER gets reflected in the browser no matter what I do. For example, if I delete my jumbotron, save, restart the server, and then refresh the browser, I still see the same page with the jumbotron. I also tried deleting this entire file and then restarting the server and I still see the page and it doesn't break my application which is bizarre. All other .ejs files are fine and I can see the changes that I make.
I've spent about 4 hours trying to figure this out and no one else seems to have my specific issue. I tried clearing my browser cache, using different browsers, logging in/out from Cloud9, creating a new database, going back to older versions of my code, etc. and nothing seems to be working. I'm not even sure what code to post on here since my entire app is about 2000 lines of code so far. Does anyone have any suggestions because this is really frustrating.
I have a script which was developed using TruClient for a web application. When I'am going through this test manually everything is working fine. When I'am doing the same test using TruClient in Virtual User Generator everything is fine as well(automated script is written properly).
The problem starts when I'm using LoadRunner Controller. From specified moment all the tests are failed(circa after 40 passed iterations/10 Vusers).
My question is: is there any possibility to check what was wrong on the website? Maybe take some screenshots or something?
(Controller 12.02.0.0 Build 1258)
Not sure if you know about this, but this is where I debug TruClient (and all) scripts which are running in Controller mode.
1) Goto the "Run" tab
2) Double click on the group of the user you want to look at.
3) Right click on the user you want to look at (some could be running or failed)
4) Select "Show User Log"
This will show the console output of the script so will show you then a step starts or finishes, and any LR.log statements you have scripts.
You can enable get screenshots on error (I think it may be enabled by default) in the run-time settings, but I haven't had any luck with the option in there to get a screenshot of every step.
If you restart a user then your logs will be overwritten.
I want to launch the browser in a different process when a particular link is clicked on the page. When I checked the net I found the following tip: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/3849 . But there we have to change the registry. Is there any simple way of doing this without touching the registry?
If you use the Google Chrome browser, each new window or tab runs in a separate process. Internet Explorer version 8 will do the same (it's currently in the second beta round).
Earlier versions of IE will run a new window in a separate process if it is launched from, say, the Start menu or the command line, or a link in an email (but not by clicking a link within IE). I imagine you could create a proxy that the client would run through, which would intercept the links you care about and launch them by running a command line request. That seems like more trouble than mucking with the registry though (assuming that registry change still works -- looks like your link is from 2002).
I don't believe this is possible unless you change the client computer setup or software it's running.
Why do you want to do this?
