ADO Not Allowing User to Create A New Task Within The To Do Column or Move the Flow of an Item Without Opening the Item - azure

I am a support Anaylst that works with a group of developers on ADO. I am having trouble changing the status or adding a task to an item without having to open the story or bug up in full then adding the progression or adding the task. Others on my team are able to do this by clicking on the dropdown within the box without the need to open. Same for the Tasks, in the To Do column there is a green plus where they click to add the task. I have to take the long route and create a child as a task and do this long form. It is quite time consuming. I have read on some posts online that this is becuase i have the Stakeholder role and that it needs to be basic in order for me to do this. Which would be great to try but my other teammates havethe stakeholder role as well and they are not having the same problem as I. I asked our ADO admin and he informed me that this is not a permissions issue and hinted that it could be a browser setting. I am using the latest version of Chrome but, this happens with Firefox and IE as well. I didn't try edge seeing outi it is powered by Chrome.
If anyone has any idea what this is and how I can fix this it would be awsome to go back to work and let them know what it was and what the fix is. They are all really busy, as am I, plus it's really not keeping me from doing my job...but if there is anything that I hate, it is wasting time and that's what I'm doing while taking several extra steps to do something.

For this issue, you need to check if Task is enabled in the Annotations of Settings .

For this issue, if the member is a stakeholder access level user, the New Items option will not be displayed. For details ,please refer to this official document.

SharePoint Quick Part Label Stopped Working

We are currently migrating our EDMS into SharePoint. As part of this workstream, I recently set up a SharePoint site with a Quick Part Label containing just the version number - as per the instructions here.
This worked fine in testing, now a few users have been added to the site and the migration works have begun. The option for "Label" within Quick Parts has simply dissapeared.
I tried some trouble shooting on Friday and found the following:
Recovering an old document from the recycle bin, still contain a correct version number label.
This label can be copy and pasted to a new document, and it correct applies the label quick part with the new documents version.
I set up a new test site and the Quick Part Label behaved exactly as expected, meaning the issue is within the Live SharePoint site itself.
I turned off labels and reset them. With no success.
I am opening in the app, the library has minor versions, check-in/check-out turned on (and currently approvals are turned off).
I also suspected that OneDrive sync might cause issues, but this again didn't seem to solve anything in the test site.
NB: this is also posted here, I will keep both threads up to date.
Screenshot showing label missing
Update 20/12/22
Since this morning I have now taken the following additional steps:
Added a new content type
Recreated the label for that content type
Change the content type of the document in the library, and the label
option now appears
This seems like a fix, but I am also curious as to limitations of
this method.
Limitations noticed so far: cannot edit SharePoint columns in the

Blue Prism: Object not found when ran using Control Center, but runs without issue through Process Studio

During my process there is a drop-down html element that I have spied and set correctly. I run through the Object and Process studio without any issues. Once the same process is ran through the Control Room the element throws and error that it cannot be found.
I have tried multiple different configurations without any luck and the element is still found without issue when ran manually. I even checked by signing into the VM having it error and on the second retry had the VM up; at this stage the element was found without issue. It seems to only be when the bot is running and the screen is not up. No other elements give this issue and the next step is the same dropdown, but for a stop time not start.
Any help would be appreciated!
I have added pics of the STARTSPIED - START and ENDSPIED - END spied configs, the Navigation Stage, and the process correctly running in the Object Studio OB Studio correct.
Thank you!
For the person who down-voted this item...Configs here are my two days of config changes and research that I tried on my own before asking for help. This is my 5th automation that I have put into deployment without help, so thank you for down-voting someone trying to get help where they are stuck.
Your problem is most likely connected with the fact that processes run in the control room are executed much faster than in studio and your webpage might not be loaded on time (that would explain why it works after retry).
Best practice approach would be to add a dynamic wait stage after attach and use “Parent Document Loaded” option on the element you want to interact with. It will wait for the page to be loaded and then check exist for the element. I would also suggest splitting your action into two, first to set start date and second for end date.

Modx Rev - Manager not showing all documents in list

I have worked with ModX for a while, but can't seem to sort this issue. When I login as the admin in to the manager, the resources list is incomplete with not all documents displaying. I can however locate the files via the 'search' area just above.
I have done the normal, empty cache, flush permissions etc. without any joy. Interesting enough its always the same files, and they are showing in the front end.
Any help welcome on this one!
Update
When I click the blog (which is an articles resource) only the template variables panel is showing, nothing else. Page looks a little broken...
Update 2
If i remove the blog, (articles) the pages show. And... If I move the articles container higher, all resources show.
Are you using multiple contexts? I've noticed this behaviour a few times when drag and dropping folders with nested resources from one context to folder in another context.
Moving them back to the original context made them re-appear.
If you're familiar with MySQL GUIs like phpMyAdmin you could check and search the *modx_site_content* table and maybe correct the value in the resources' parent field manually. As Mark said it might well be a parent gone MIA.
Typically, parents rarely go MIA and by that I mean once every couple years....
Did you set up ACLs or Resource Groups?
Is your manager user a member of those groups?

View. Show values as Links. Strange behaviour

Xpage (listPostits.xsp) has a "View" container control, where one of the column is set "show values in this column as links".
Now, here comes "Strange behaviour".
When i work with this application on my own (developer) PC (Win XP, Chrome or IE), the Domino generate the link, which can't be really processed:
/servername/db/postit/postit.nsf/listPostits.xsp/onePostit.xsp?documentId=many_numbers&action=editDocument
Namely, the Bold-marked portion shouldn't be there ! This portion is the name of the XPage, where the View control is in.
When i work with the application from other PC (Mac, Firefox) then i get the correct link (the same as above but without the XPage name inbetween):
/servername/db/postit/postit.nsf/onePostit.xsp?documentId=many_numbers&action=editDocument
update: let us leave for the moment the differencies in generated links between two machines. The first question is - why the extra portion is inserted into automatically generated link?
After playing around i think i might have found the reason for this strange behaviour. Namely, the "Substitution" Rules on the server side. One of them is to substitute "*/postit/all" with "/db/postit/postit.nsf/listPostits.xsp"
If i switch it off, then the Links are generated properly. Still, it's pretty strange to me that these settings influence the way Domino generates the links. I thought it works on the fly with them and those settings have nothing to do with the way how Links are generated inside the application.
So, the help now is needed regarding Web Site Rule Topic, but for that, i guess, i have to create another topic. But in case somebody has some good Info on this, please share it with me. I'm a bit confused at the moment :)
Final Update: Spent some more hours of testing and the results confirmed the initial idea.
If i open the page with the standart URL, i.e.
http://servername/db/postit/postit.nsf/listPostits.xsp then everything is fine, links are generated properly. When i however open the same page with short URL http://servername/postit/all , then server adds the substitute URL (db/postit/postit.nsf/listPostits.xsp) to every single link he generates automatically to be used as the link to open/edit the underlying document.
Is it bug or feature ? Don't know.
As a workaround (because i want to keep simple URL's for the application) i have to manually generate links.

you do not have access to the database this time. If you proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save them later

i am new in ms access. Now i have to finish some modifications in ms access 2003. I am getting this error "you do not have access to the database this time. If you proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save them later". Please help me to solve this problem.
Microsoft has documented the problem, but the sugested solutions were completly unusable in most of my situations. Furthermore the issue occurs even in a split database and it occurrs inconsistently with forms and controls that use code. In my opinion MS got this wrong or at the very least documented incompletly.
Here is my solution:
The problem in many instances traces back to Access thinking the DB is in an exclusive mode, when it should be in a shared mode. Setting the DB to "shared mode" under Options doesn't help, because it will revert back to "exclusive" any time a user turns on the "design view" for any object in the database OR makes code modifications OR if a user presses "save" (CTRL + S)!
In order to prevent the error message from poping up, you need to prevent the users from pressing "save" or switching to "design view" in your DB. I have deleted the save button in the Quick Access Toolbar (so users don't see it) and under Options>Current Database I have unchecked "Allow Full Menus". Additionally you can also uncheck "Enable Layout View" in the same menu.
Possibly the Save function can be disabled alltogether, but I have not yet written code for this. This solution is not fool proof, but it greatly reduced the occurence of the problem in my various split and unsplit DBs.
I was getting this error in ms-access-2010 just the other day. I was working with a method in vb to query the db. I needed to commit my transactions and close the database object after I was done with it at the end of the method. This fixed the problem for me.
This occurs in Access 03 when you are not the only live user present in the .mdw (security) file, if this is a shared database then before making any changes you will need all other users to log out and then to ensure this error doesn't occur again, always open the database in 'exclusive' mode for editing, this is achieved by selecting the little arrow on the open button.
However, you can also have some strange behaviour with .mdw files, if you are genuinely the only user logged in, then I would suggest first logging out, manually deleting the .mdw file if it exists and then going back into the database.
Always open the database in "exclusive mode" when programming and this will never happen.
