I want to use the Wrangling data flow in Azure Data Factory v2, but this data flow doesn't appearing for me.
I followed this tutorial Prepare data with wrangling data flow
We have this image to create the wrangler:
But, in my subscription these options doesn't appearing for me.
I searched in many websites, tutorials and I didn't find anything about this.
The Azure data wrangling in data flow is actually moved below as "Power Query".
for more details watch the official docs video:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/wrangling-overview#use-cases
If you have already create the Wrangling data flow, I think you can select it.
In your screenshot, it seems you dont select the 'Use existing data flow':

Elaborating the title further, the current ADF I am working on has a lot of legacy code, i.e. multiple datasets, linked services. Unfortunately no naming convention or system of creating new items were defined.
I have tried to list down all the pipelines, the associated datasets (linked services as well), but this seems a lengthy approach and we have around 100 odd pipelines.
I tried by exporting the complete data factory as an ARM template and tried to create a parser which would automatically create the above list, but it seems that ARM templates are more interlinked than I had thought, I dropped this plan.
Is their a better approach for solving this problem?
You can pull the pipelines/dataflows that uses the particular dataset. this details will be available in the properties tab -> Related tab.

Also you get the list of datasets that uses a particular linked service by going to manage tab ->Linkedservice -> Related

Since you haven't mentioned data factory version (v1 or v2) and mentioned it has lot of legacy code, I am making an assumption that it could be a v1 factory. In that case, you can check the ADF v1 to ADF v2 migration tool which helps with basic migration tasks (listing resources, doing simple migration steps etc.)
I am looking to import data form a publicly available Excel sheet into ADF. I have set up the dataset using an HTTP linked service (see first screenshot), with AutoResolveIntegrationRuntime. However, when I attempt to preview the data, I get an error suggestion that the source file is not in the correct format (second screenshot).
I'm wondering if I may have something set incorrectly in my configuration?
.xls format is not supported while using HTTP.
Since, the API downloads file you can't preview data. You can load file to blob or Azure Datalake Storage using copy activity and then on top of that file have a dataset to preview.
The workaround is to save your .xlsx file as a .csv file because Azure Data Factory does not support reading .xlsx files explicitly for HTTP connectors.
Furthermore, there is no need to convert the.xlsx file to.csv if you only want to copy it; simply select the Binary Copy option.
Here, is a similar discussion where the MS-FTE has confirmed with Product Team that's its not supported yet for HTTP Connector.
Please submit a proposal in the QnA thread to allow this functionality in future versions, which will be actively monitored by the data factory product team and evaluated for adoption.

Hi i want to save and retrieve some extra data in spatial anchor cosmos-db. currently app save only anchor key but i want to save some extra data like note URL and marker color with spatial anchor.i found a link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/spatial-anchors/how-tos/create-locate-anchors-unity which have code to save app properties with cloud anchor but still I am unable to save these app properties to cosmos-db database and also unable to retrieve.sorry for my bad English and please help if anyone have solution for this problem.
I would suggest that you have a look at this link, and see if tweaking with the app properties might help you. You can also have a look at this tutorial to see how we are using Azure Cosmos DB with ASA samples. If you are still facing problems, having a look at Azure Cosmos DB documentation might be the best next step. And you can always share more details about the exact problem here to get more help :)
I am trying to transfer JSON file to mongodb in microsoft azure using Microsoft's Data Migration tool. There are no errors generated and its says transferred. But there is no data in the database.

I looked everywhere but doesn't find any solution. If you could help, that would great.
My business works with a partner business. The partner business has a database we can access using web forms. We have to do hourly/daily metric reports which involves exporting the data & copy/pasting into a google sheet which then gets us our numbers.
My question is, is there a more efficient way of grabbing this data if backend access to the database has been rejected. Ideally I'd like to do my own queries but since I have no access I run the query on the webpage, export to excel, then copy paste the data into a google sheet and then use the query function to get what I need. What would be the solutions you would advise? Should I ask for a web service? Any way to automate exports? Any ideas?
What you are doing appears to be web-scraping. If so, you can scrape HTML tables from a website from within a Google sheet. Absolutely no backend access using the IMPORTHTML function.
