I'm wondering if it's possible to nest collapsible containers? In the picture below I have a container containing various lists of text organised in "sections"; it'd be great to be able to collapse the sections individually as well.
Related query, since I'm creating those boxes programmatically – is it possible to create the text content programmatically and not need to position them with absolute y positions? With the user interface I can just add a new text box and it automatically stacks below the current one, and the container expands. If I create those with a script it seems I need to provide the y positions and sizes myself.
you could try adding a new container for every section (as shown in the attachment) and check if it suits your needs. I created a simple test diagram, it could be improved visually.

Total newbi here. I have played with studio for a few h but can not get over the next hurdle.
I would like to draw wine growing areas on the map.
Managed to draw areas. Tick.
I would like to give these areas a unique name.
Managed to create labels.
But I don't understand how the text is associated with the area.
I then want to search for this label, so that the map zooms in on that area.
Just like when I search for "Coburg, Victoria, Australia".
I have managed to publish my maps including the areas in my WordPress website.
So my access token and my style does the right thing.
Need some hints how to get the labelling and searching happening.
Thank you for any help.

Romano
and welcome to using Mapbox.

Have you tried creating a Symbol layer, and setting the Text field to the appropriate field in your data source?

This goes beyond using Studio, and into building web maps with mapbox-gl-js. One starting point would be to use the Finder Impact Tool.
This might involve processing the data twice -- once for your base map, and another time in a spreadsheet to make available to the Finder template. It's possible to just do once, but would involve some modifying the Finder template.

I am using GPUImage in my photo app to make some image filter options. In the app, there is an option to add multiple filters while capture an image, so to handle multiple filters, I have used GPUImageFilterPipeline. Every filter effect, those I have added, works well on pipeline except GPUImageHistogramFilter. I know that GPUImageHistogramFilter need more steps when compare to other filters(as mentioned here). But this is not working on pipeline. How to make histogram with GPUImageFilterPipeline?
A GPUImageHistogramFilter doesn't operate like a normal filter, and you can't use its output directly. It sends out a 3x256 texture containing the RGB channel histogram, but you need some way of parsing that for display. You won't be able to set that up in a GPUImageFilterPipeline construct.
Instead, you'll want to set up your filter pipeline manually, following the example provided in the FilterShowcase sample application (or my steps in the answer you link above). I use a histogram generator to create the overlay you see in the example there, and there's no easy way to set that up with a GPUImageFilterPipeline.
Also, I'd personally recommend not using the GPUImageFilterPipeline, since I don't maintain that class. It was contributed by a couple of other people, but I don't use it for anything myself and it has a tendency to break. I'd instead just create your filter chain yourself or place things within a GPUImageFilterGroup if you need to organize filter subunits.
Here is my scenario...
Using Orchard CMS 1.7.1 I have created a custom Content Type named 'VistaImage' using the Orchard UI. This Content Type defines one field based on a Media Library Picker Field, this field is also named 'VistaImage'.
A Projection of groups of Vista Images are placed in the 'Featured' Zone as a Widget reference and works well.
Using the Shape Tracer on the resulting page(s), the shape hierarchy looks as follows:
Zone [Featured]
Widget
List
Content Alt: Content-VistaImage
Fields_MediaLibraryPicker Alt: Fields.MediaLibraryPicker-VistaImage
Media
Parts_Image_Summary
What I want to do is to provide alternative shapes from the Content shape downwards. This is easy enough for Content itself and for Fields_MediaLibraryPicker (as the Shape Tracer automatically provides applicable alternatives (as indicated above)).
My problem comes in providing alternatives for the Media and Parts_Image_Summary parts.
Looking at the documentation for Alternates on the Orchard web site, I thought that if I created a new shape in my Theme at at /Views/Parts/Image.Summary-VistaImage.cshtml this would get referenced, but it does not (though if I remove the '-VistaImage' the shape does get used, but this would, I believe change this shape for every Content Type, which is not what I want to do).
Any advice/direction on how I should approach this requirement would be apprciated.
Thanks.
From personal experience, when you get that low level in the shapes, alternatives don't work very well, if at all. The only way I best deal with those scenarios is to choose the next applicable shape above it, and do an if statement to determine if its the content you want, in which case to remove the default shape display and implement your own hard-coded layout.
eg if the shape simplay says #display(Model.whatever) and you know that displays is garbage for you, look into the model.
For example, I had trouble creating a 4 leveled menu for bootstrap as it only typically deals with 2 levels, so i manipulated the lowest level shape. I.e:
if{Model.Items.Any()}{
//code to generate another submenu for that menuItem
}
This may not even be the most correct way to address this, just the solution I found has worked.
So in your case I'd use VS debug and breakpoint where the mediafield picker is rendered, and find out if the model holds any information letting you know it's your VistaImage content.
Is it possible to split a template like below image?
If it is, may I get some instructions on how to do it please? I've only managed to create the 3 frames in a configuration that is basically rotated with 90 (or 270) degrees from this one.
No, this is not possible. Check the online documentation:
[...] to create a template like the one below, you cannot use the template concept of Smart Forms: [...] The cells of the colored part cover several lines. [...]
The linked article also contains an example on how to split the contents into separate windows.
I created a form to display a specific report instead of a view. iwant the form to locate into the directory folder in which views located. for eg I have a view at 1. Reports\a. Quarterly Reports, I want the reports be to located at 1. Reports\b. No of Request per Country(this is the form). So that when I view the reports they are only in one location. Is this possible?
Ken has good points about the design of the solution. If you need more direct assistance, then I can offer the following solution.
As you're now using a variety of design elements. You need to unify it using a frameset and an outline. Framesets in Notes are the generally the same as their web counterpart. The great thing with Notes is that you can easily add this to your current design.
I would recommend the following order of tasks.
Create the outline. Instructions here
Create the frameset and connect the outline to it. Instructions here.
Set the database launch properties so the frameset loads up when people open the database. Instructions here.
Even though the links point to Lotus Notes version 6, the functionality is still applicable in version 7 and 8. The only other point I would make is that when you click on an outline element it needs to know where the target location to display the data. You define this on the frames in the framesets. Just look at the menu option "Frames" and select "Frame properties" or "Frameset properties" respectively.
You can use a Notes Outline to manage this. Set one up for your database, if you haven't already, and use it as your left-hand navigation in your frameset. If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, try creating a new database based on the Document Library template and take a look at the design. It'll have a frameset, and on the left frame it'll have a Notes Outline.
Once you have your database setup like that, you can control what the user sees in that outline by creating hierarchical outline entries. You can link views, pages, and forms to your outline entries and that way you can have your 1. Reports\a. Quarterly Reports view showing next to your 1. Reports\b.No of Request Per Country form (report).
Even better, you can use different names. Since an Outline manages its order, you don't need to name your entries 1., 2., etc to get them to show in a certain order. You can name them whatever you like and rearrange them in the Outline design screen.
