I am doing a Text recognition project by using android studio and google vision like this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmuz8qIWcL8&t=702s. But I need to pass the recognized text to Unity in order to display the 3D Model and some information related to the recognized text. Then, user can view and rotate that 3D model.
The question is any suggestion or method can be use to pass the string or text or value from android studio to unity ?
Add a simple http server to your unity project and listen for commands. You can have android studio issue http get or post requests, and you can parse the request in your unity app to do whatever you want.
Not only can you then process input from any source, you can respond with output as well.

I am trying to develop a simple OCR app in android studio, that works offline only. I want the camera to detect a text that has only greek characters and print it on the screen (in greek characters).
I tried to use Google vision API and MLkit for text recognition but in both of them the labels of the image are returned in English only.
Can anyone recommend another API or is there any way to use the two apis that i referred to in another way?
Thank you
I would like to detect dark mode on my android device running Node.js from termux.
Also I can't use electron, phantom.js or any other "rendering" library.
Is it possible?
If not I will accept any other possibility to get the device theme, using termux.
Edit: I opened a request on the github page of termux-api
I want to use the DJI SDK Mobile SDK to fly a drone.
SO,I use the DJI Developer site (https://developer.dji.com/mobile-sdk/documentation/application-development-workflow/workflow-integrate.html)to integrate android studio projects.
However, even if the program is entered according to the site, "Hello, world" is not displayed on the virtual device.
Specifically, "import SDK Demo keep stopping." is displayed after the app starts for a moment on the virtual device.
Please help me !!!
Android Studios version : 3.5
Mobile SDKs version :4.2
I tried Android Studio with some version(ex.3.0/3.5).But, everytime "Hello, world" is not displayed on the virtual device.
Without having more details about what you've done, it is hard to say what your problem is.
HOWEVER, the SDKs require an "Application Key" to be generated via your DJI account, whereby you access a special web page that allows you to give a name to the App you propose to create, as well as a bundle identifier like : com.yourCompany.yourNewApp. After providing such basic "App" info's that DJI webpage will generate a long hexadecimal number which is your App Key. So again, without that App Key (number) being added (edited into) to your App, you will not be going anywhere. DJI uses this App Key for keeping track of all developer's Apps, and where those Apps are running.
Specifically, the DJI SDK gives an immediate error as soon as the SDK initialization is attempted, when/where attempted without a valid App Key.
So again, without more details from your problem, it is hard to say that the problem/solution (stated here) applies to you. But this certainly is a very common "newbie" or "getting started" problem.
I am making a smart urban farm that has 3 sensors: moisture, water, and temperature. I am trying to send the values(digital/analog) via wifi-shield to the app itself. I am having a hard time finding a similar code that does this using wifi. What function in android studio would I use to get the information from the Arduino?
I don't know if you can just directly send the data via wifi, but what I know you can do is writing the data from your arduino to database. Then, make your android app download the data from the same database. The database can be anything (Firebase, Drive or similar clouds)
We have made an bar code and QR code scanner app for windows surface tablets 8.1. We have used ZXing library and implemented by keeping "Scan Code" button on UI.
But we want auto recognition feature without using button click. We have heard about Media Foundation transform (MFT) in .net whoch can be used to process each video frame. If we start recording video using media capture element once application launches, then MFT can be used to process each video frame automatically.
But we are not getting how to integrate MFT with ZXing library? If at all there is any paid library, let me know.
You can get autorecognition and detect any barcode/QR code in your app with this:
https://github.com/mmaitre314/VideoEffect#realtime-video-analysis-and-qr-code-detection (For decoding it uses ZXing)
Tried out and works. Just install the nuget package, and read the sample app:
