This code appears in a siteorigin layout builder in the header widget area. There are four elements, and #4 is a search box. When you type anything into the box, the suggested results appear under the content below.
I tried a z-index on the header, the widget, assigning a special class to the widget with a high z-index, and got nothing.

Any thoughts please, because I'm stuck.
Thank you!

This was a tough one to locate. Please, try adding to Custom CSS:
.panel-row-style,
.elementor-section {
-webkit-transform: none !important;
}
That's to override a rule in the parent stylesheet.

When using react-virtualized's Table class with a table with many columns, it is necessary to scroll horizontally to the very end of the columns in order to be able to see the vertical scrollbar.
(you can see an extremely similar question about React-Table here, it is not clear to me if react-virtualized's table code uses React-Table's code at all, but in any case I am having an identical problem)
in the linked issue someone commented that:
.ReactTable .rt-tbody{
overflow: initial !important;
}
fixed their issue. I checked this solution with react-table and got the desired behavior.
However, as far as I can tell react-virtualized table doesn't have tbody class available for css. (The docs do list a bunch of available class names, but a body class name doesn't seem to be on that list).
I've messed around with the css trying to set different overflow options in different ways to no avail. I have not been able to get the vertical scrollbar to display without needing to horizontally scroll all the way to the end. What can I do to make that happen?
(Edit: I've also tried to figure out some way to make this work with react-floating-scroll but it seems like the ref passed back by virtualized table isn't the kind of ref the scroll code needs...)
This will move the scroll bar to the left side instead of right side.
.ReactVirtualized__Table {
.ReactVirtualized__Table__Grid {
direction: rtl !important;
.ReactVirtualized__Grid__innerScrollContainer {
direction: ltr !important;
}
}
}
I'm having a hard time figuring out how to make my footer stick to the bottom of the screen, even when the page is smaller than the screen.
www.test-domain.sk
I'm guessing it's something to do with the container length, but I'm honestly completely unsure.
Any help would be appreciated. :)
This concept is something known as a sticky footer. The Mozilla Developer Network has a page here illustrating a few ways to accomplish it. In the example of your www.test-domain.sk page, I believe you can add the following css to make your footer stick to the bottom of the viewport (screen).
html {min-height:100%)
body {100vh}
div#page {min-height:100vh; display:grid; grid-template-rows: auto 1fr auto}
Assuming you are looking for something like this, but if not, be more specific. As in post the code you already have.
footer {
position: fixed;
bottom: 0;
}
How can i add icon to dojo grid header. I tried setting the headerClasses with appropriate css class but dint work.
sample css class i used
.sample{
background : url ('______') no-repeat right top;
}
this never worked for me.
Any help would be great.
basically you needed to add ".tundra" in front of .sample because the .tundra stylesheet is at the top of the hierarchy.
I found the solution wich may help you here: https://stackoverflow.com/a/2456933/1238394
I have a jqGrid that has add/edit dialogs with a form that's longer than the dialog height but the dialog won't scroll. I've tried to add an overflow: auto style to the dialog but no effect:
$("div.ui-jqdialog-content").css("overflow", "auto");
Although, if I change auto to scroll, I at least see a scrollbar but still no scrolling:
$("div.ui-jqdialog-content").css("overflow", "scroll");
This at least gives me a small glimmer of hope that I'm on the right track.
There doesn't seem to be any direction from the API documentation to support scrolling:

Does anyone know how to add a working scrollbar to the jqModal dialog window used by jqGrid?
UPDATE
This is a total hack job but I got a scrollbar to appear and function doing the following:
setTimeout(function() {$("#FrmGrid_list").html('<div style="height: 300px; overflow: auto;">' + $("#FrmGrid_list").html() + '</div>');}, 1000);
I attached this to the afterShowForm event. However, this really doesn't solve the problem because it causes other issues with other fields.
I thought I'd share my solution for others to reference.
The form element has a default height: auto; style property which causes the overflow: auto; not to function as desired. To make the overflow scroll, the height needs to be set to a fixed number to constrain the form container and therefore make the overflow necessary.
I attached a css update to the afterShowForm Form Editing event, using the following code:
afterShowForm: function(form) { form.css("height", "300px"); }
Mind you, 300px is an arbitrary number that I selected for testing. That number will be tweaked to fit my needs. It may even be dynamically adjusted on resizing. Who knows.
Also, using Firebug I found that my form id is FrmGrid_list. My grid id is list (e.g. <table id="list"></table> and jQuery("#list").jqGrid({...});). If your grid is named something other than list, the form id (above) should reflect that.

Your problem sounds strange. Every edit/add dialog has already a scrollable form with the name "FormPost" inside. This form has following style:
position: relative; width: 100%; height: auto; overflow: auto;
I just tested one jqGrid with a lot of controls and can scroll there without any problem.
The reason of the strange behavior which you have is probably that you either forget to include optional jqModal.js and jqDnR.js (see the same http://www.trirand.com/jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:form_editing page at the beginning) or use the wrong path to the files, so they will be not loaded.
This question is VERY old, but I'll add an answer anyway.
I don't know if this was possible before, but now you can simply use the dataheight property of the dialog (add or edit), to precisely set the height (in pixels) of the inner form. The default is 'auto', and thus it doesn't overflow. Setting the desired height shows the scroll-bar if necessary.

Is there a way to change the default unsorted icon for a rich:column?
I am aware that you can add sortIcon="/images/myPic.png", but i don't want to have to add that for every single column.
I tried adding an attribute selector to my CSS file to "hide" the image:
img[src="/app/a4j/g/3_3_0.GAorg.richfaces.renderkit.html.iconimages.DataTableIconSortNone/DATB/eAFjYGD4!!8!AAYAAv4_"]
{
width: 0px;
}
That works for Firefox, but IE doesn't honor it.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Use the sortIcon attribute of the rich:column tag to point to your own image as in:
<rich:column sortIcon="img/defaultIcon.png">...</rich:column>
According to the RichFaces documentation:
You can customize the sorting's icon
element using "rich-sort-icon" class
So I'd create a class in your css file that references the icon you'd like to use.
