Hi there: I've checked several solutions now and I'm close but not quite there. However, I'm also trying to determine if what I'm doing makes sense. I just keep feeling like there's a better option.
Business problem: I need to extract the Region Name, which is between the word "DID " and " Region". I've been able to do either one to get everything before and the Region Name and the word "Region", but I want just the Region Name. Please see below and advise - very much appreciated!
Example: DID North Region. I only want "North".
Region: IIf(Right([Tier 6],6)="Region",Mid([Tier 6],InStrRev([Tier 6],"DID ")+4),"")
This expression gives me [Region Name] Region. I want the word "Region" removed as well.

Since you are using IIf conditional, I presume "Region" is not always present. Also presume if there is no "Region" then there is no "DID". In case there is possibility field will be null, consider:
Region: IIf(InStr(Nz([Tier 6],""),"Region")>0,Mid(Left([Tier 6],InStrRev([Tier 6]," ")-1),5),[Tier 6])

The following query fails with 2 ParserFailure errors, both on line 5. At least that's where the query builder shows the red curly line.
The intention of this query is probably obvious to the Azure KQL initiates, but I'll explain nonetheless just to make sure it's clear.
This query should list all NSGs that do not have either one of the rules named "AllowThis" or "AllowThat".

It would even be nicer if the table shows the actual missing rule(s) for the listed NSGs, but I have no idea where to start with that.
Does anyone have a working version of this type of query? Having to go through a lot of NSGs manually can't be the answer.
I have tried multiple variations of the query, but I couldn't find a single working version.
Below are my findings and observations from the query posted in question.
Lines 1 to 3 looks good and will give you list of NSG resources which has values for "securityRules" field.
For line number 4
| where not(properties.securityRules)
I am not sure what are you trying to achieve in this step. The not() takes bool values as mentioned in the documentation.
For line number 5
| where (tolower(tostring(properties.securityRules.ruleName)) =~ "allowthis|allowthat")
There is no need to use tolower() when you are using =~ as this supports case-insensitive match. Also under "securityRules" in NSG json object there is no field named as "ruleName", however there is a field "name". Please find the document for the same - Link. You can use the same documentation to check for the fields available to query NSG resource data.
When you are trying to write condition for "AllowThis" or "AllowThat" in Azure Resource Graph Explorer you should use the syntax properties.securityRules.name == "allowthis" or properties.securityRules.name == "allowthat"
If you write anything within quotes it will be taken as single string. Hence in your query "allowthis|allowthat" will be considered as a single string.
I feel silly asking this.. but its doing my head..
if I use 'https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/autocomplete/json' and set the input parameter to say - 'Palazzo Cast' I will get about 5 suggestions - none of which will be the one I'm looking for. if I set input to 'Palazzo Castellania' I will get zero results - even though there is a place called this (see below). I've set the region parameter to 'mt'...
If I use 'https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/findplacefromtext' and set the input parameter to 'Palazzo Castellania' - I will get 'the Ministry of Health' - which is correct - however, if I put a partial string in I'll get only a single candidate which will be something different - there doesn't seem to be a way to get multiple place candidates?
I'm guessing from an API side - I have to do a multi-step process - but it would be good to get some input.
My thoughts:
I start with 'https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/autocomplete/json' - if I get an empty result, I try 'https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/findplacefromtext'
if I get a single result from either then I can pass the placeID to the places API to get more detailed data.
Make sense? It feels argly..

So watching how https://www.google.com.mt/ does it... while typing it uses suggest (and never gives the right answer, just like the API) and then when I hit enter it uses search and gives the correct answer... leading me to the conclusion that there is actually two databases happening!
Basically "its by design".. there is no fix as of Feb 2023.. My thoughts are to cache results and do a first search against that otherwise I'll probably use bing or here
I'm attempting to apply row-level security I have an S3-based dataset with username and what I want to filter on. The dataset looks good in quicksight. I can create an analysis on it. rls_rater_action_username maps to a column in my dataset. However, no matter what I do with this file I get the error "An unexpected error occurred. If this problem continues, contact your administrator. Error code: DatasetRulesUnexpectedError".

The error is kind of useless. I have no idea what the issue is? Anyone have any guesses?
Usernames are case sensitive, write it exactly as amazon suggests with an uppercase Username.
Make sure the data type of both datasets(dataset,rules dataset), are strings, that the filter will apply.
Column order also matters in your s3 rules dataset.
Currently, I made a tool to rename view numbers (“Detail Number”) on a sheet based on their location on the sheet. Where this is breaking is the transactions. Im trying to do two transactions sequentially in Revit Python Shell. I also did this originally in dynamo, and that had a similar fail , so I know its something to do with transactions.
Transaction #1: Add a suffix (“-x”) to each detail number to ensure the new numbers won’t conflict (1 will be 1-x, 4 will be 4-x, etc)
Transaction #2: Change detail numbers with calculated new number based on viewport location (1-x will be 3, 4-x will be 2, etc)

As I explained in my answer to your comment in the Revit API discussion forum, the behaviour you describe may well be caused by a need to regenerate between the transactions. The first modification does something, and the model needs to be regenerated before the modifications take full effect and are reflected in the parameter values that you query in the second transaction. You are accessing stale data. The Building Coder provides all the nitty gritty details and numerous examples on the need to regenerate.

So this issue actually had nothing to do with transactions or doc regeneration. I discovered (with some help :) ), that the problem lied in how I was setting/getting the parameter. "Detail Number", like a lot of parameters, has duplicate versions that share the same descriptive param Name in a viewport element.
Apparently the reason for this might be legacy issues, though im not sure. Thus, when I was trying to get/set detail number, it was somehow grabbing the incorrect read-only parameter occasionally, one that is called "VIEWER_DETAIL_NUMBER" as its builtIn Enumeration. The correct one is called "VIEWPORT_DETAIL_NUMBER". This was happening because I was trying to get the param just by passing the descriptive param name "Detail Number".Revising how i get/set parameters via builtIn enum resolved this issue. I have been using NetSuite for only a short time, and already hate it. I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but I haven't been able to find an answer so far, either in the Netsuite docs, StackOverflow or other websites. In fact, the answers I found have resulted in an error.
My company requires a script to transfer inventory based on an EDI input file. Reading the file is no problem, even parsing it is working. However, actually inserting the data is proving problematic.
I have been able to insert normal records, but Inventory Transfer records are giving me problems.
From Stack Overflow I found and adapted some code into the following:

The FormatDate function just exchanges the date from the text file into a system date NetSuite can understand.
However, when I run this code I get the following error:
USER_ERROR: You must enter at least one line item for this transaction.
I thought inserting the line item was the reason to use nlapiSelectNewLineItem, but I guess not. Also nlapiCreateNewLineItem doesn't seem to exist.
The values I am inserting are all just test data, as I'm testing this in the debugger. Location 9 exists, as does item 189.
My full script finds these id's based on string values from the text files. But since this is the section that doesn't work I have set it apart to test.
Can anyone help with this?
You did not specify the type of script you are using, but, looks like you are not setting the fields on the record object, but, setting the value on current record. Below, is the suggested code.
Also, there is no sublist named invt, it should be inventory. Also, there is no field as such invtid, I think most probably you want to setup item, the field Id should be item. You might want to refer SuiteScript Record Browser as well for a help on correct Ids
