SwiftUI + Embed searchbar in navigation bar center position - search

I would like to show UISearchBar at the center position of the navigation bar in SwiftUI. We all know how to achieve this feature easily in Swift, but it's hard to manage in SwiftUI.
I tried many ways, search a lot on the internet but not found any relevant post regarding this issue.

How to use both vertical and horizontal ScrollView in Xamarin iOS ?
I am using CollectionView but with it I only get one scrollview working at a time.
It's because it's nature of collection view, you can make it scroll in one direction at a time i.e. either horizontal or vertical. What you exactly want to achieve that you have not mentioned. if you are going to use collection view inside the scroll view, you have to manage it properly.
The best solution would be use a UICollectionView for the horizontal
scroll and the UITableView for the vertical scroll.
But if you want to make it work only using UICollectionView you have to use Subclassing UICollectionViewLayout.
here is link you can refer to make it work, hope this might help you:

2.Subclassing UICollectionView
3.UICollectionView scrolling in both directions

What is the best way to achieve the following customized layout?

I am kind of wondering what the recommended method is for a customized UI. I have about 5 screens, which will share some of the same elements. One is a topbar, kind of like the navigationbar but different. It has the title on the left, no back buttons, a background image and a logo on the right. The other is a menu at the bottom containing and UIImageView for the bar, 3 UIButtons a the moment opening 2 different screens and one opens the Camera. I want to reuse the top bar and bottom bar on all 5 screens. Sort of like one would use a UserControl on ASP.NET.
Currently I have created 5 ViewControllers, which gives me 5 XIB files that I have to put the same elements on and I have to hook up the same events. I would want to create 2 elements (top and bottom bar) which I can reuse across all screens. Or is there a simpler solution to all of this like e.g. 1 screen pushing different middle parts into it or something like that? Quite the beginner at MonoTouch for that matter, so I'd love to know what the way-to-go for something like this is?
If you are not able to customise / reuse the standard UINavigationController etc, you could -
Create a custom UIView in Xamarin / Monotouch for each of your reusable elements, then insert them into each ViewController (programmatically is probably easiest) as required. This would give some code reuse and is akin to the UserControl example you mentioned.
Alternatively for IOS5+ you could create a Custom ViewController Container which has all the common parts in one place and have a single container UIView which you would then switch the rest of your Content ViewControllers as you need to.
I have actually just finished a github example of this which may help -

How can I create scrolling areas like the ones on stackoverflow?

I'm currently working on a flash project, which will use multiple scroll areas.
I'm trying to find out how to create a scroll area like I see on stackoverflow, and make it function similarly.
Whenever someone posts their lines of code to stackoverflow, the scroll area scrollbar looks exactly like the scrollbar in the web browser, and is able to be scrolled with the mousewheel smoothly, without affecting the webpage scrolling.
Example: disable mouse wheel scrolling while cursor over flex app?
Could anyone please explain to me how I can do this in my flash project?
Thanks!!
You wouldn't need flash to do this... This is accomplished using CSS. You would just need to put the portion you wanted to function like that in a div (or any HTML container for that matter) and then define such properties as min-height, max-height, min-width, max-width, overflow, etc. I think there's one that determines the presence of the scroll bars but I don't remember what it is for sure. Very easy to do this and flash would be a bit of overkill.

android - UI like sliding down notification bar

I want to develop a panel with animation same as notification panel. I mean to say the notification panel is a cool control where you grab and slide down the notification bar and see all the notifications.
Actually, I am having 2 UI , 1st should be shown with Button at top, when user click on that button, the 2nd UI with listview items should be slide down same as notification panel and again when user click or drag the 2nd UI at the top side, then 2nd UI should be become invisible. I hope i made clear my question.
From Christian's answer, I am trying to use a sliding drawer that will display a
list of options. I need this to expand over the current ListView on the page.
So if anybody know how to implement such layout or UI with sliding down animation then please share it.
Please suggest how to build with such control or layout? any ideas or suggestions
Thanx
Have you tried the SlidingDrawer widget?
Paresh I found a solution in this post about sliding drawers.
android misc widgets has it implemented , though it still has some flaws but it will definitely prove helpful.
Though in the same SO post CommonsWare has quoted :
...
You similarly cannot make a
SlidingDrawer that descends from the
top.
Good Luck.
You can use SlidingTray from: http://aniqroid.sileria.com to make this happen
http://aniqroid.sileria.com/doc/api/com/sileria/android/view/SlidingTray.html
Alternatively you can also use a custom PopupWindow class which is part of Android API.

Capturing Gestures over a UIWebView

I am trying to set up a simple iPad application that has a table view and when you select a row for that table it displays a (drilled down to) UIWebView displaying the selected web page (related to the row selected).
Once in the drilled-down-to view I want to capture EVERY touch and gesture (tap, swipe, pinch, etc) and do my own thing with them. Yes, I know this will make navigating and interacting with the web page displayed impossible, that's the idea.
I have found and played around with the Stack Overflow question that was answered by this wepage: http://mithin.in/2009/08/26/detecting-taps-and-events-on-uiwebview-the-right-way/ and I can't get gestures to work with idea.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
UIWebView already has a lot of gestureRecognizer attached to them. It might be a good idea to remove all those gesture recognizer before adding yours, as a testing unit.
If your gesture recognizer works, that means you could basically store the default recognizer in a private array and as soon as you want to give normal behavior to your webview again, you "reset" the UIWebView recognizer
