I have a list with 64 objects. The empty cells are 0. Other cells are objects of class Checker. I can't undarstand, how I can create a big deck and cut it into 64 small objects on which I will be able to post my objects. I can create 64 buttons connected to each object, but I don't thing, that is nice idea. Can you give me some ideas ??

You can use qgraphicscene for your deck and qgraphicsgridlayout to arrange

Tinkering with ncurses; can't seem to find why I would want to use getmaxyx() instead of LINES and COLS, or vice-versa.
It seems to me that LINES and COLS is already initialized by initscr(), so why would I want to go through the additional step of calling getmaxyx() and setting new variables?
LINES and COLS are the size of the screen, while getmaxyx gives the size of a window. curses applications can have several windows (and rarely more than one screen).

I need it to do some entity extraction. How do I get an annotated dataset with JobTitles?
Here is what I suggest to do, if you haven't come across any datasets. Grab wikipedia occupation lists: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_occupations, create a gazetteer list of jobs and write regular expressions to capture them or any variations in the text and you have annotated data :).

I know it is possible to solve a VRP problem using OptaPlanner. I would like to know if it is possible to route a Heterogeneous Fleet of Vehicles using OptaPlanner.
Yes, it's been done before.
Just change the (Vrp)Vehicle class accordingly. Currently it already has a capacity, so you can already model vehicles with different capacities. But it's trivial to add other properties (such as maximumSpeed, driverLicenseLevelRequirementEnum, safeAgainstRobberyBoolean, ...).
Then simply use those properties in your new/existing score constraints.

What is another way to play sounds in Win RT instead of using Media Element? I'd like to play some "play-and-forget" sounds.
You can have multiple MediaElements or you can use XAudio2 or WASAPI, but multiple MediaElements is possibly the easiest way. Just track which one is done playing so you can reuse it.
