How can I access capsule-specific information in Javascript code?
I want to include my capsule id and version in a User-Agent when communicating with my backend. Ideally I would also be able to get the Bixby version and Android version my capsule is running on. I'm hoping there's something like $vivContext which I can just hand over to my Javascript code.
You are correct that $vivContext does NOT hold capsule id or version. There is also no build-in for fetching content of capsule.bxb yet.
However, you can use config API.
After defining capusleID and version property of your capsule in term & capsules section in developer center, you can use the following code in your JS file.

I want to get all destinations on subaccount and instance level. In SAP API business Hub, I found the API information and "SAP Cloud SDK" tab to generate code by OpenAPI generator.

I downloaded the API specification and added dependencies into Cloud SDK for Java project. The code is generated successfully with some errors (unknown models)in generated api classes.
For example in DestinationsOnSubaccountLevelApi.class, model OneOfDestinationNameOnly is imported and used in method but it is not generated in model package.
I looked into API specification and found that there were two types of response entity. That is the reason why the code could not be generated properly. I can modify the API specification to make it work but it should not be the long term solution. Is there any other way to fix this issue?
Unfortunately the SAP Cloud SDK Generator for Open API services is not yet able to understand oneOf relationship that is modeled in the specification.
As an alternative, would you consider using the DestinationAccessor API for resolving single destinations?
You can also directly instantiate an ScpCfDestinationLoader, which allows for querying all destinations:

I solved my issue, by using Web Extension experiment.
Implemented the same legacy extension function with the Web Extension Experiment Specification and that solved my need at this moment.

I think you can use the storage.local API (see documentation, it seems to work the same for Firefox and Thunderbird). This allows you to store data related to your add-on with something like:

and to retrieve or remove it after that (see available methods).
Is there a way to set the default application version in azure batch account using java sdk?

Also I was trying to dig in the interface(https://github.com/Azure/azure-libraries-for-java/blob/master/azure-mgmt-batch/src/main/java/com/microsoft/azure/management/batch/Application.java) to get some clues but couldn't see anything that supports updating the default version.

I was able to get the version update working following #brklein suggestion:

It does not appear that default version is being surface at the client layer of the SDK.
To get around this you should be able to call the implementation methods manually, which have the full functionality of the REST API (as they are auto-generated).
To do this create either CreateApplicationParameters or ApplicationUpdateParameters and set the defaultVersion property. I have a extension which I loaded in google chrome. Now I'm writting a script from which I want to get the extension's id according to the extension's name. In this case, the extension is like a server and my script in java project is the client.

Your extension id is supposed to remain static; It should never change, even when developing. You can simply keep a global variable.

Getting an extensions id from its name would be unreliable because multiple extensions can have the same name.
To find the id of an extension go to chrome://extensions. To find the id of the current extension programmatically simply call one of the following:

Both of these methods require no extra permissions.
I'm working on a project where I'm trying to implement authentication against external user base for customers, this seems to be working correctly.
Recently there has been added another requirement that some people (not present in the aforementioned base) need to be able to edit parts of pages' content. First thing that comes to mind is to have separate ORM/File Auth driver enabled for those few editors to be able to authenticate them separately.
Is it possible to use two Auth drivers at the same time in Kohana 3.2?
Yes, you can use different drivers at once. Just create another instance instead of standard singleton:
// default Auth
$config = Kohana::$config->load('auth');
$auth = new Auth($config);

// special Auth for administration

Restrictions:
You must use differ configs (driver and session_key values must differ). Note that some settings are defined in classes and cant be changed by config (for example, "remember" cookie named authautologin).
You cant share default ORM models (Model_User, Model_Token, Model_Role), because their names are hardcoded. But ORM driver & File driver can be used.
Kohana's Auth module does not natively support using two Drivers.

The simple thing to do would be to put the following logic in your _login method:
Check the external user database for a valid login
If there is a valid user in the external user database, return true.
If there is no valid user in the external user database, check the local user database instead.
If the user exists in the local database, return true.
