UAT Website not working in Microsft Edge browser - web

I have a UAT website, which is hosted in the client's domain. Soon all other browsers its working fine, but when I try that to open into Microsoft edge it gives me an error.
I already tried below steps
I cleared all history, cache, cookies, etc.
I have also updated the allow sites from internet options->security->Trusted Sites. And in that, I have added UAT website address, still no luck.
Error
"Can't reach this page".
Is it a network issue or a Microsoft edge issue?
If anyone knows the resolution on this then kindly let me know.
Edge browser Version - 44.17763

Error "Can't reach this page"
It's possible that Microsoft Edge application is corrupted causing this issue to occur. As an initial troubleshooting, run the Windows App Troubleshooter.
If the issue still persist, perform the following steps below:
Restart your PC
Restart your PC and then reopen Microsoft Edge. Select the Start button, then select Power > Restart.
Install the latest updates
Run Windows Update to help correct problems by replacing outdated files, updating drivers, and fixing vulnerabilities.
To check for updates, select the Start button > Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and then select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your PC is current, you have all the current updates.
Clear browsing history
Your browser automatically saves temporary Internet files to help pages load faster. Clearing this cache will sometimes fix page display problems.
If you can open Microsoft Edge, select Hub > History > Clear all history. Select Browsing history and Cached data and files, and then select Clear.
Clear all browsing data
If you can open Microsoft Edge, select Hub > History > Clear all history. Select all the boxes, and then select Clear.
Repair or reset Microsoft Edge
Repairing the browser won't affect anything, but resetting will remove your history, cookies, and any settings you might have changed. You'll find these options in Settings > Apps > Microsoft Edge > Advanced options > Repair. Open Microsoft Edge then check if you can open any websites. If the issue persists, go to Settings > Apps > Microsoft Edge > Advanced options > Reset.

Unable to load Officejs add-in from App store

This error **Add-in Error** We couldn't connect to the 'Office Store' catalog server for this add-in. is shown when user tries to access the add-in.
See image
Steps to reproduce:
Open new excel file
Download the app from app-store.
Also tried removing the add-in and then re-adding it from the store but the same error persists.
Office won't be able to connect to the add-ins catalog unless there's a live internet connection, so when you see this error message, start your browser and make sure you can bring up a page or two that you haven't visited before. Or better yet, try to navigate to the add-in's web page. You can also try using any troubleshooting tools like Fiddler to see what happens under the hood.
This may be for a variety of reasons:
No internet connection
Blocked by firewall
Access disabled by a security policy
Add-in installation disabled by an administrator for Office applications

Downloading files from sharepoint/ssrs

In Sharepoint we have a report created by Visual Studio-ssrs. When the report is executed and the results are shown, when I click on actions/export/excel (or other formats) I receive a message at the bottom of the screen saying that the file ‘couldn’t be downloaded’. The same happens when i try to export a sharepoint list to excel (therefore this is not a problem of ssrs only )What can I do? I have the following additional information for the problem:
- I use IE11 32 bit Excel 2016, SQL/Visual studio 2008.
- I have no problem in downloading any file from Sharepoint (eg from document library) or from internet.
- When I switch user and log in (in the same pc) with another user of the network I do not face the above problem and the file is saved normally
- When I switch user the settings change. I make the settings of my user the same as the settings of the other user (Internet options/security/custom level and internet options/advanced) but there I still have the above problem.
- when I log in with my username to another pc I have no problem.
- I reset IE but I have the same problem.
- I check from manage add-ons and I have the same add-ons as with the add-ons I have when I log in with the other user. The only difference is that in the ‘run without permission category’ the add-on ‘SharePoint OpenDocuments Class’ appears three times compared to two with the no-problem user. All have the same version (15.0.4420.1017)
I found the solution. I run the Internet Explorer as an administrator and the problem was solved.

SharePoint 2013: hover on search result automatically starts downloading document

I have configured a search results webpart to show documents based on the search keywords.
As soon as I hover on any of the search result item, it automatically triggers download and asks weather to save the document or open it directly.
This issue is coming on IE.
I have come to find the root cause of the problem but not the solution(Will update when I get to the solution).
As it is an intranet portal, IE has its default security settings to medium-low(It is medium for internet sites).
Under medium-low security settings Allow Active-X filtering is disabled. Enabling it solved the issue.
PS: You can get to the settings by clicking on TOOLS->INTERNET OPTIONS->SECURITY->LOCAL INTRANET.

CRM 2011 Ribbon bar Missing after applying update Rollup 14 in IE not the chrome or Firefox?

When reviewing issue further, I have found out below solution:
Log in to CRM as an administrator.
Go to Settings > Administration.
Click System Settings.
On the “Customizations” tab, uncheck Load pages in the most recent version of Internet Explorer.
Even this one is not working for me.
I am getting below error in page load event in IE not the chrome or Firefox
SCRIPT5: Access is denied.
PageLoader.js, line 1 character 1226
I am stuck with as my production release on Monday. Any help is highly appreciated.
After Long two days investigation I have found out the reason for the issue. We had previous rollup activity feed solution. After importing the new version of Activity feeds this hectic issue was sorted out.
Activity feed new solution is available with rollup up package.it can be found by exacting the rollup package. Previously this was available in Microsoft Dynamic market place.
Do you use any script that have fixed url?
Seems similar issue with:
Grey ribbon on Account form in IE "SCRIPT5: Access is denied." in PageLoader.js
And try IIS Reset might help clearing cached content.

SharePoint and Forms Based Authentication Issue - Office Apps no longer work

We have several sites that use Forms Based authentication (FBA) within SharePoint. Many of them have been running for months without issues. Within the last week or two we have noticed the following behavior for users trying to access a Read Only Microsoft office document (currently only verified with the 2007 versions of Excel and Word).
The behavior we are seeing exhibited:
The Document starts to open
Within the Office application an IE Window opens with the FBA login screen. There is also a Hyperlink in the top left saying Skip to main content
Clicking cancel several times will open the document
If you identify the site as an IE Trusted site the login screen with the Office app, everything works as before (not an option for the majority of our sites)
Non offices files, like PDFs, do not exhibit this behavior
Non IE Browsers that we have tested (FireFox, Chrome) do not exhibit this behavior.
Is anyone else seeing this issue? I assume it was an update sent from Microsoft that has resulted in this issue, since we are seeing it on multiple sites where the code has not been updated.
Thanks
The issue we ran into is there was a policy file applied on our network that caused the UAC prompt to be disabled for Vista/Win 7. When this happens, protected mode gets turned off for the IE browsers, which caused the issues we were seeing.
If you want Office integration to work under forms authentication you should do the following:
Turn on client integration in Central Administration for the forms-auth-enabled application
Use persistent cookies for authentication in the forms-auth-enabled application
On the client computer, add the site to trusted sites in IE
If you still see a login screen embedded in Office documents that you open, try the following on the client computer (if Windows 7):
Go to Control Panel, User Accounts
Click Manage User Account Control Settings
Change slider to Never Notify
Click OK and reboot the computer
