TortoiseGit responding "/usr/bin/sh: git-lfs: command not found" when attempting diff of lfs tracked file - gitlab

I am trying to perform a diff of a LabVIEW (.vi) file using TortoiseGit. I get the following error:
Failed to checkout file "*****.vi" of revision ### to
"C:\Users\***\TortoiseGit\*****-###.vi".
libgit2 returned: External filter application exited non-zero (127) and reported:
/usr/bin/sh: git-lfs: command not found
I am using TortoiseGit 2.8.0.0 with a GitLab server. I have lfs enabled. Any file type that is tracked with lfs seems to have this problem. The error message seems straightforward as to what the problem is, but it's not clear to me how to fix it.

Try and launch TortoiseGit after changing the PATH, adding:
C:\Program Files\Git\mingw64\bin
The git-lfs.exe is in %GH%\mingw64\bin
./mingw64/bin/git-lfs.exe
That means TortoiseGit will be able to execute "git lfs" when launched with the proper %PATH% value.

MiXiM building no such file or directory error

I failed to build the MiXiM on Ubuntu 14.04.3 and OMNet 4.6, the error message is: ”fatal error: Mac80211Pkt_m.h: No such file or directory”. From the manual of OMNet it can be found that the file Mac80211Pkt_m.h should be generated automatically by the compiler during the building process, but it was shown by the error message that the file was not generated automatically. I am confused about the problem, how can I solve this? Can anyone help me? Thanks!
I faced the same error message. Here is how I bypassed the problem:
Extract "mixim-2.3.tar.gz" (tar xvzf mixim-2.3.tar.gz)
Change into the directory just extracted (cd mixim-2.3)
Execute "make makefiles"
Start the build by "make"
Import the just built project using the omnet++ IDE

ERROR: executing command 'ant' - After installation and setting ANT_HOME

After wrestling with my environment variables to get the proper directory set, I can now get the version with:
C:\Projects\TestProj>ant -version
Apache Ant(TM) version 1.8.4 compiled on May 22 2012
Ant appears to be working:
C:\Projects\TestProj>ant
Buildfile: build.xml does not exist!
Build failed
I still get the error when I try:
C:\Projects\TestProj>cordova -d platform add android
cordova library for "android" already exists. No need to download. Continuing.

Error: ERROR : executing command 'ant', make sure you have ant installed and add
ed to your path.
From all of the posts that I have read, this is an issue with ANT_HOME, but it appears I have that part of it tackled. Edit I've installed ant 1.9.3 to program files, and bin resides in:
EDIT Changed to just ant, instead of apache-ant-1.9.3-bin\apache-ant-1.9.3
C:\Program Files\ant
Echo home:
C:\Projects\TestProj>echo %ANT_HOME%
C:\Program Files\ant
And of course I have %ANT_HOME%\bin in my path. Any help identifying the issue would be appreciated.
I think the path you use for ANT_HOME is wrong. C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\npm\node_modules\ant\ant seems to be the path to the ant npm module but not the ant command.
Ant command more probably is somewhere in program files. In a cmd, run where ant to know where in your path ant is found and use this path for ANT_HOME. (in the folder you should see ant, ant.cmd and ant.bat)
After further investigation, I think your problem is caused half by cordova not correctly checking node errors and half because of registry setting in your computer (a cmd autorun parameter).
You can check answers in those posts for more info:
nodejs child_process exec 'java -version'
Windows CMD.exe "The system cannot find the path specified."
Check if you have a registry key HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor\AutoRun
after setting the variables, restart your machine. Closing command prompt etc will not help.
Even I was stuck for quite a long time and next day when I started my system, it was working fine :P

using Gitolite while pull No rc file found error

I am using gitolite as git server. It was working fine earlier . but somehow now if i try to fetch/pull/push its throwing error "no rc file found"
no rc file found
Compilation failed in require at /home/git/bin/gl-auth-command line 43.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /home/git/bin/gl-auth-command line 43.
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
How can i fix this ??
"no rc" found means gitolite doesn't found your gitolite.rc file anymore.
It looks by default in:
"$ENV{HOME}/.gitolite.rc", "/etc/gitolite/gitolite.rc"
So checkout your HOME (and the actual value of the environment variable HOME) or /etc/gitolite/gitolite.rc if you did a "root installation".
If that file has somehow disappeared, then you need to run the setup again:
gl-setup -q /path/to/gitadmin_public_key
See gitolite installation for the various installation method.
See my own script for an example of a gitolite automatic installation.

Building Mozilla : "Abort : Premature EOF reading chunk" error

I need to build the mozilla source in my Windows 7 machine. I used the following command line code to pull the source using mercurial
hg clone http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/ D:\FFsrc\src20
but the process always stop in the middle, with the following error.
requesting all changes adding
changesets transaction abort! rollback
completed abort: premature EOF reading
chunk <got 6 bytes, expected 776>
Try successive clone -r, it looks like your connection is flaky which stops the clone process in the middle.
HI Tonfa, Krtek
the issue was actually on the network, which stopped the clone process. I have now downloaded the bundle and grabbed the source by unbundling it.
https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Mozilla_Source_Code_%2528Mercurial%2529%23
Thanks!!!
I had that error and found it was caused by using the old 1.2 hg client.
Upgraded to 2.4.2 and it worked fine since then.
So try to update to the latest hg version.

Exceptions using CruiseControl.NET

I recently updated to CC.NET 1.5 and I'm now getting some strange exceptions.
On one project I get: -
ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.CruiseControlException: Source control operation failed: svn: Can't create a character converter from native encoding to 'UTF-8'
This happens when CC is checking a subversion repository for any mods. If I run the actual command line CC says is failing it works and returns an empty XML (there are no mods).
Some other projects also fail to check mods with another "Source control operation failed" exception but no further info. Again the command is an "svn log" which when run from command line works ok.
I'm using subversion 1.4.5 client side and my source repository exists on a separate box than my build server.
Anyone got any ideas?
Have u try to update Svn client ? I doubt it is so simple, but let's check !
Try a svn cleanup
What is your svn config in ccnet ?
What is the build revision of ccnet you are using ? You should try the latest 1.5.x nigthly build, which is very stable for me.
http://ccnetlive.thoughtworks.com/CCNet-builds/1.5.0/
did you try to change the startup parameters of CCService?
Namely, set the "Allow service to interact with desktop" check box on Log On tab.
Also, you may try to use other account than "Local System".
I am not sure, but seems it may fix the issue, since it may be "Local System" account specific issue effect.
