It gives This site can’t be reached fabric-service-url.com unexpectedly closed the connection. error.
I am using Mac computer.
Accessing the url from Chrome.
The certificate comes from the *.pfx translated *.pem.
In my case I solved this by deleting the previously installed Service Fabric certificate from the certificate store on my laptop, rebooting, installing the certificate again (on Windows 10: double click the .pfx file, next, next, finish) and rebooting again.

I was requested to configure IIS for an internal website on Windows 2019 server where Windows Admin Center is installed already. Since 443 was used by Windows Admin Center, I tried to configure a custom port such as 4433 and opened a firewall rule for the port as well as my subnet. The website opens fine locally, https://mywebsite.com:4433. However, when it is attempted externally, it times out with the following errors:
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
What could be an issue? Any idea?
There are many reasons for this error, you can try below steps to slove this issue:
Check if your internet connection is working properly. Check the status of the network connection and see if it is stable. You can disconnect and connect to the internet to see if the issue is resolved.
Disable firewall
Go to Windows > Settings > Updates and Security > Windows Security > Click Firewall and Network Protection and try to disable
Also try clearing your browser's cache and see if the issue is resolved
I installed the TFS plugin (http://java.visualstudio.com/) for Android Studio but I can not connect to the server. Any extra ideas? Thank you!

This error can be interpreted to be the result of self-signed certificate. If the certificate in use is Self-signed or any other certificate that is private to the internal network.
Java doesn’t trust such certificates and for which, we can import the cert into the trust store and make it to work.
The link explains how the certificate import works in a Linux machine
(which is also applicable for Windows).
the “keytool” is under “\bin\keytool.exe”, and
the “cacerts” trust store is under
“\jre\lib\security\cacerts”.
should be the jre/jdk installation used by IntelliJ.
This should have resolved the above TFS connectivity failure.

I am on Ubuntu 17.04 and I have installed the latest version of Parallels RAS Client. I am trying to connect to my VM using the credentials in my .rdp file I have downloaded from the Azure dashboard. I keep on getting this error.
Code [01/00000001] The specified remote RAS Connection could not be found. Verify that you have typed the correct computer name or IP address, and then try to connect again.
So far, I have tried the following:
1) Manually inputting my credentials into the connection settings and trying both ports 3389 and 80.
2) Checking with telnet as outlined here. http://kb.parallels.com/en/123015
No luck with both.
I have resorted to Parallels RAS Client (formerly 2Xrdp) simply because Remmina will not play sound on my machine.
I have switched recently to windows 10 and have no clue if this is linked but my IIS doesn't seem to work as it used to. I previously had a remote connection to one of my website but every time I click its name in IIS it returns me an error: "Remote connections are not supported".
A quick check tells me that IIS Manager for Remote Administration is installed in its version 1.2. I have no idea what is happening and it is really frustrating because I cannot add any new website either.
I had a similar problem. I solved it by downloading and running "IIS Manager for Remote Administration 1.2" and doing a "Repair" operation. This did three things: 1) reduced the startup time for the IIS Manager dramatically, 2) added a "Start Page" root node in my IIS Manager Connections pane (I know this used to be there but I had not noticed it was missing after my Windows 10 update), and 3) fixed my remote connection node.
I have a project which I moved from one computer to the other. The project worked fine on the initial computer but had to get rid of that computer so copied the project folder to the new computer. Now, on runing the project in the new computer, I get a page that give different messages in deferent browsers:
IE: Page cannot be displayed
Chrome: This webpage is not available
Firefox: Firefox failed to establish a connection whith the server at
localhost.
I run the project using ctrl + F5.
The project is set to use the Local IIS web server (with virtual directory localhost/projectname) and is configured for adfs authentication.
I tried running the project straight from IIS but the same outcome.
I tried creating a blank project a running it on the new machine and all worked well.
How could I fix this please?
The page in question required HTTPS and not HTTP; but I wass missing the IIS binding for HTTPS. I followed the instructions here to create a certificate and binding HTTPS using that certficate; and that solved the issue.
