Cyberduck shows all word documents as .url files in google drive - cyberduck

I was able to download and install the Cyberduck software.
I can see the files listed after connecting to google drive using the cyberduck (cyberduck.io), but all my word documents are listed as .url files
Any idea why this is so? I want to download these word documents but when I do, it only downloads as an .url file.
Please help

Web address of .url files in Sharepoint Online document library

When we add "Link" files to the Sharepoint document library, how can we edit/display the original web address of these .URL files?
Currently, I can only see it when I click on the URL.
Per my test and knowledge, URL files created in the document library cannot be edited. You could click Copy link to check the link of URL file.

Sharepoint online Searching file can't open from results 404 NOT FOUND

do you have any ideas?
I just create our new Sharepoint (online) intranet with new document library. Uploaded new files and reindexed. And now when I try to search something I have results, but can't open it (error message 404 NOT FOUND), but only on some files (specially .pdf formats).
Did someone have same issues? Or do you know best practises for build Document Library and setup searching in Sharepoint?
And do you know how long takes full reindex? (I just uploaded 3pcs of .pdfs)
I tried:
- reindex site,
- rename files,
- remove and upload files,

Jekyll/Poet blog - remote path for markdown files?

I am going to deploy my blog, which is based on Poet (blog generator in node.js), but I am wondering if it's possible to specify remote path for my markdown files. It's similar to Jekyll where you specify the _posts directory, it will then read all markdown files in that folder and include them in your blog.
Why would I need a remote directory? Because I don't want to do this every single time:
git add _posts/06-24-2013-new-post.markdown
git commit -m 'added new blog post'
git push
I simply want to drag and drop my markdown file into my Dropbox or Amazon S3 and have Poet automatically read those files.
Surely people have done something like that before?
Here is the Poet's config object. Can I change posts to point to me.s3.amazonaws.com/_posts/ or my Public Dropbox folder?
poet.set({
posts: './_posts/', // where all .markdown files are stored
postsPerPage: 5,
metaFormat: 'json'
});
we are using stackedit (and publishing to the local dir via ssh), but poet has a fault: check issues #15 and #27.
we are using these blog engine (here) cause these.

How to enable searching an attachment's content in a google site

The goal: I am wanting to be able to search attachments' contents located on my google site via my site's search box. Attachments such as a google doc or google sheet's contents.
The problem: So I have a file cabinet on my google site which is populated with files from some folders in my google drive. If I search for a keyword in a document on my google site, the search returns with no results. If I do the exact same search in my google drive, I get the result I expected. Is there a way to enable this functionality in my google site?
I have not found a way for files loaded into the file cabinet via Google Drive to be searchable. However, if you upload files in their native format (.docx, .pdf, etc.) from your local disk they are parsed, indexed and then searchable.
I not possible to search a file into Cabinet , if you want a solution , you take this gadget.

You have some data on your spreadsheet ( data , file , ... ) and This gadget show your data.
Simple and better if you want StringFilter and other Filters , and your file is on your drive.

Can I open local .doc file in Google Docs without logging in Google account?

I have .doc file on my hard drive. I want to open this document in Google Docs. But if there is no Google account, can I handle it ? And is there any solution to open .doc file without MS Office ?
You need a google account to upload the .doc file so it can be viewed (or converted to a Google Document and edited). Other ways to view it might be to use a different word processor like AbiWord (open source and can work with .doc files)
1) I am not sure that you can open a doc file without logging in with your account.
And FYI - Google Docs has been replaced by Google Drive.
2)There are many doc supporting file browsers. One popular option is Libre Office (earlier open office)
With Google Drive viewer without logging Google Account, you can quickly view many file types online, including PDFs, Microsoft Office files, and many image file types.
