First, delete and recreate a fresh virtualenv. This works fine:
rm -rf ~/.virtualenvs/test
python3 -m venv ~/.virtualenvs/test
As soon as I try to install the pip library ansible, I get clang compilation errors. There is a large amount of compiler output to the console that I'm editing out for simplicity. I suspect this isn't an issue with my local environment, but a software compatibility issue with Python 3.7.
vex --path ~/.virtualenvs/test pip install ansible

This looks like an issue with cython. There are many similar issues reported on GitHub for some famous libraries like scikit-learn, pandas etc. Considering creating an issue in Ansible repo.

I've made a Leanprover installation on Ubuntu 22.04 and used the stable toolchain. The elan toolchain list shows the following default
leanprover/lean4:stable (default)
I've made a test file called test.lean that contains the following
import Leanpkg
#eval Leanpkg.leanVersionString
When I run lean test.lean I get
test.lean:1:0: error: unknown package 'Leanpkg'
test.lean:2:6: error: unknown identifier 'Leanpkg.leanVersionString'
test.lean:2:0: error: unknown constant 'sorryAx'
What should I do to make it work?
I'm currently trying to install Mozilla syncstorage-rs on a RockyLinux machine, and step by step I could reduce the amount of errors, but now I got stuck. I found in Makefile to execute the following command in case of SSL trouble, so I did so cargo build --features grpcio/openssl
and this is fine, this finally works:
cargo build --features grpcio/openssl
Compiling syncstorage v0.10.2 (/var/www/html/syncstorage-rs)
Finished dev [unoptimized + debuginfo] target(s) in 35.59s
But when I try to now run either make run or make test or anything else, I just get:
= note: /usr/bin/ld: /var/www/html/syncstorage-rs/target/debug/deps/libopenssl-dc6f50ea1194640f.rlib(openssl-dc6f50ea1194640f.openssl.9bacb62b-cgu.1.rcgu.o): undefined reference to symbol 'OPENSSL_cipher_name##OPENSSL_1_1_1'
//usr/lib64/libssl.so.1.1: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
= help: some `extern` functions couldn't be found; some native libraries may need to be installed or have their path specified
= note: use the `-l` flag to specify native libraries to link
= note: use the `cargo:rustc-link-lib` directive to specify the native libraries to link with Cargo (see https://doc.rust-lang.org/cargo/reference/build-scripts.html#cargorustc-link-libkindname)
error: could not compile `syncstorage` due to previous error
make: *** [Makefile:45: test] Error 101
What am I missing? I thought after building it could be run easily.
So the answer is to use cargo clean before continuing. I don't know why, but there seemed to be some old artifacts even if I hadn't built before. However, after executing cargo clear command, the build openssl runs completely (many lines more than before) and after that, there is one more little step to do:
python3 -m venv venv # creates a virtual environment named "venv"
source venv/bin/activate # enters the virtual environment
python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt # installs the packages
and finally make run works.

I am using Yocto Warrior release to build linux for Dart-imx8m SOM. Documentation can be found here : https://variwiki.com/index.php?title=DART-MX8M_Yocto&release=RELEASE_WARRIOR_V1.1_DART-MX8M.
I want to add fftw package whose recipe is in meta-oe layer. Whenever I add this package in my local.conf file, I get an error with bitbake regarding a dnf related task.
I add the package like this in my local.conf file : IMAGE_INSTALL_append = " fftw"
I get the following error when building image with bitbake fsl-image-gui :

Woud you have any clue where this error come from ?
Thanks,

Edit :
Found a way to make it compile for those who are intereseted. (inspired by Yocto build for a static library fails with error "No Match Found")
I edited my *.bb file and added ALLOW_EMPTY_${PN} = "1"
I am not sure I got it completely but it looks like dnf package manager needs folders created for all added packages even if empty.
https://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/latest/ref-manual/ref-manual.html#var-ALLOW_EMPTY
The fftw recipe is set up to create a few different packages (RPM) like libfftw, libfftwl, libfftwf, fftw-wisdom, fftwl-wisdom, fftwf-wisdom, and fftw-wisdom-to-conf.
You probably want to add one or more of those. It seems there is no actual fftw package.
It is important to remember that IMAGE_INSTALL and RDEPEND lists items from the package namespace, while DEPENDS lists items from the recipe namespace.
If you are unsure about which package you want to install you can inspect the packages-split folder for fftw in tmp/work to see which files are included in which package.
I am getting the error below while compiling and installing the "ModSecurity- Nginx" module.

The ModSecurity nginx connector compilation is failing because it can't find the ModSecurity headers. Every time a ModSecurity function is called, it's the first time the compiler is hearing about the existence of said function, thus making this an "implicit" function declaration.
To make a long story short, you need to specify where the compiler can find the ModSecurity headers and libraries. To do this, you're supposed to set two environment variables before configuring or compiling the connector module.
export MODSECURITY_INC="/opt/ModSecurity/headers/"
export MODSECURITY_LIB="/opt/ModSecurity/src/.libs/"
These paths were taken straight from the documentation, so you'll need to adjust them depending on where yum installed the libmodsecurity-devel package.
You can find the recipes for building the ModSecurity module and the ModSecurity nginx connector here and here, respectively.
After research I found:
git clone https://github.com/xianyi/OpenBLAS.git
cd OpenBLAS
make NO_AFFINITY=1 USE_OPENMP=1
sudo make install
and
CMAKE_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/OpenBLAS/include:/opt/OpenBLAS/lib:$CMAKE_LIBRARY_PATH luarocks install torch
which again left me with an error:
Makefile.system:370: *** OpenBLAS:
Cannot set both USE_OPENMP=1 and USE_THREAD=0.
The USE_THREAD=0 is only for building single thread version.. Stop.
This is the necessary change:
make NO_AFFINITY=1 USE_OPENMP=0 USE_THREAD=0
Might be an issue if only one core is available.
