Azure Bot Service not working in Web Chat behind proxy - azure

I have created a basic C# bot in Azure and have been doing some tests with it. I am able to debug locally and test that the bot works and responds normally, However, Web Chat does not seem to work (either the "test in web chat" within Azure or the embed code provided under "Channels" menu. The bot does not respond and the following can be seen in the browser's console:

This happens with any chat bot created in Azure even without any code changes but only when in my company environment, which is behind a proxy. I am almost certain that this is somehow the cause of the problem, but I have no clue why nor how I might approach the proxy team to report the problem nor what I may need to ask them to unblock.
The Question: Am I right to assume that this is a proxy problem or should I investigate something else and, if this is indeed a proxy issue, what do I need to do/ask to unblock to solve it?

This is definitely a Proxy issue, You can talk to your admin team and get these links removed from their firewall settings so you can get access. We do get this issue's in our company we do the same as i have suggested.\

IBM Watson Assistant: Access issues when using ngrok for webhook URL

Good morning everyone. I am developing an application that uses the watson assistant webhook by sending some parameters to a server, which analyzes the parameters and based on these sends a response to the application and to watson itself.
Well, it turns out that I was using ngrok to do this test by placing the parameters in watson, until a few days ago I couldn't (or it doesn't exactly let me) make the request.
Error
Cannot create property 'transactionId' on string ' Access Denied Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://us-south.assistant.watson.cloud.ibm.com/rest/v2/skills/ on this server. Reference '
I have tried other applications that allow me to do the same work as ngrok, but I am new to this and it is very complicated. LOCALTUNNEL solved my problem temporarily, but later it didn't work anymore. I also tried with portmap.io, serveo, pagekite, smee.io among others and I still can't perform my requests.
I would really appreciate any help with my problem. Thank you very much.

azure 502 bad gateway

has anyone seen this before so I am getting a 502 bad gateway error on my app, the issue I have is that the detailed error information I am getting says my requested url is https://SOX:80/api however my site is configured to use https://sox.domain.com and the site largely works pulling the various JS files required
my app service name is SOX in the azure dashboard so I assume that is where it is picking up SOX from but I have no idea why it is using this.
So overall the issue had me perplexed... however with more testing I soon figured out what was going on.
my backend is Dotnet core Azure throwing the 502 bad gateway was its way of handling exceptions ultimately the problem was code based.
I am mentioning this purely so that it will help others
my first issue was based on cert handling it seems dotnet runs in a container that is specified by your app name as i mentioned above https://SOX:80
the below was causing my issues
sslPolicyErrors = X509StoreStoreHelper.ValidateSSLPolicy(cert.Thumbprint, cert);
after commenting this out for testing my problem went away(we are putting in a proper fix )
my second issue came from using an unsupported view in Azure SQL master.sys.master_files which again just threw a 502 bad gateway error referencing https://SOX:80
please note I have used https://SOX:80 as a reference to mask the real site.

I did not find any requests against https://SOX:80/api in your html page or JavaScript files. Please try to access your website in a new incognito window to isolate the cache issue or just press CTRL + F5 to refresh your current page to narrow this issue. Moreover, you need to check whether you have configured URL Rewrite. If you still could not solve this issue, you need to update your question with the details for us to reproduce this issue.

Docusign Connect issue -- Request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel

I am supporting a web app that uses the DocuSign Connect API to handle signature processing. We are running in production and demo environments (our production environment is using the DocuSign production environment; our demo envrionment is using the DocuSign demo environment).
The interface between my app and DocuSign Connect has been working smoothly for over a year. Sometime in the last week or so, the demo environment began misbehaving. In that time, the production environment has continued to work fine.
The problem is this:
In demo, when a signature event occurs, DocuSign is unable to call our callbackUrl. The failure log indicates the following:
https://[mywebsite]/SignedDocument/DocuSignSignatureEvent :: Error - The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
When I look at my DocuSign Connect Settings, I see a new setting -- "Require Mutual TLS" -- that does not exist in production. I'm not sure if this is related -- I have no idea when this setting was added to the demo environment.
Even though this is a demo app, it poses a problem for us (because our demos no longer completely work). But it poses a much bigger problem if/when this same thing (via a code push or something else) begins happening in production.
Again, this interface has been working fine. Nothing has changed on my web app since the last successful callback occurred (roughly a week ago).
Please try this again, DocuSign Support indicates this should be resolved now.
We've been getting the same error starting today. Nothing has changed recently on our side to affect the demo environment. I'm thinking this might be an issue on DocuSign's end.

IIS 6 is throwing a "500 - Internal Server Error" for some users but not others

I had written a mini App in asp classic this week. It worked perfectly on the test server connecting to the test data base. Then yesterday evening I moved it from the test server to the live server updating the connection strings to the live db.
I published it as an application to the default website in the default app pool. Then I tested it and it worked perfectly.
This morning however both myself and another user receive a 500 -internal Server error when we try and save changes to the database(there appears to be no issue reading from the db) yet my two other collogues have no issue at all.
Even more odd is that the same thing is happening on the test server where the code hasn't been changed in weeks. But this morning I cannot commit to the db from there either.
I have attempt to enable more detailed error tracking and logging but the property options for the server are seem unavailable when i tried to set up custom Active Server Pages (ASP) error pages off online tutorials.
The server is used by a lot of people so I was wondering is their a permission issue depending on the user that restricts writting to the database. Or something else that may have changed to allow some users to write data and others to receive the error.
Im very knew to IIS so it may be something glaringly obvious that I haven't considered.

Getting AccessTokenFailed using ServiceStack FacebookAuthProvider

trying to use facebook's oauth with servicestack, i'm hitting url
localhost:60782/api/auth/facebook
being taken to facebook's auth dialog but after clicking allow, i'm being redirected back to my redirect URL with #f=AccessTokenFailed

anyone have any idea what's going on here?
I had a similar problem when setting the facebook authentication up. I found it difficult to pinpoint the problem because servicestack catches the web exception and effectively discards it. To work out what was happening I downloaded and compiled the service stack code. I was then able to change my project to reference my local service interace DLL which enabled me to set a debug point in the facebook auth provider.
In my case I was getting a proxy authentication error, caused by the server attempting to contact facebook without any credentials. I overcame this by reconfiguring my dev pc and production pc so that they didnt go via the proxy.
