Is that mean I should use a different schema? What about current sharedPreferences file that is in use? It will fail because of that, no? Any idea what can be done? Thanks
This version of the library fixes the problem that was caused by the previous RC version. I can't remember exactly what it was, but it was something to do with the tinc library and dependancy clash with other libraries like Firebase.
To fix the previous issue I had to add the following to my build.gradle:
allprojects {
configurations.all {
resolutionStrategy {
force("com.google.crypto.tink:tink-android:1.3.0-rc1")
}
}
}
Removing it again fixed the same crash as you had here.

Why does my app crashes after without any error in my code? [duplicate]

This question already has answers here:

My app crashes instantly.
Ichecked my whole code everything seems right
I've tried:
Clean project
Invalidate caches /restart
rebuilding app

Bad Encode
Bad encoded_array value: Failure to verify dex file '/data/app/com.example.splash->38vvy8h0ek5tJSz1HqPOZg==/base.apk': Bad encoded_value method type size 7
reading the log you should check if there's an array that you are missing to fill or if there is an encode problem... have you seen if all your files are encoded correctly?
if you are passing this array from other activity you should check yf both documents have the same encoding type
Missing Class
com.example.splash.FireApp
You can check for this to be correctly called, or may be missing on you Manifest?
this part of you APK its called too much times on your log
-38vvy8h0ek5tJSz1HqPOZg==
you should check for that too.
Try to disable proguard and is if it helps. There is an issue with proguard and AndroidX

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: dlopen failed: cannot locate symbol “__aeabi_memmove4”

When I run this example (https://github.com/alex011235/FaceSwap) I found this type of runtime error in Android Studio. I can select two images but when I click the button to swap the face, it crashed and the message show in logcat:

The row that make me get error is the following row (FaceSwap.java:57).

I hope to get use of this example and I cannot solve this problem.

My app is crashing whenever I am trying to open the app info in settings tab. It also looks like referring to the old package name

This is happening after I changed the package name. The app crashes only when I open "About"

Try adding android:exported="true" to your AndroidManifest.xml where your Activity is declared.
Also, double check that you are launching the correct configuration.

Open eclipse juno with error "No more handles ..." in Ubuntu 12.04

Starting today, every time I open up the eclipse, I got a message box with title "Problem Occured" pops up saying:

No more handles [Unknown Mozilla path (MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME not set)]
Then I click "OK" and proceed to the workbench, I got another error saying

You are recommended to exit the workbench.
Subsequent errors may happen and exit the workbench without warning.
See the .log file for more details.
Do you want to exit the workbench? (Yes / No)
Then I clicked "Yes" and took a look at the .log file in .metadata. I saw this long stacktrace:

I did hours of Google searching, seeing all different solutions, but they are either too complicated for me to figure out see this, or not work at all.
I tried the following:
edit /etc/environment and add MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/lib/firefox, no effect
edit eclipse.desktop and change Exec=/usr/bin/eclipse/eclipse to Exec=env MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/lib/firefox /usr/bin/eclipse/eclipse this time the eclipse will freeze at the start-up.
download a XULRunner-1.9.2.19 from here and set the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME env variable point to directory where I extract it. I got a new error:

... and then the super long stacktrace
Could anyone please help me figure out how to solve this problem. Thanks.
This just worked for me:
sudo apt-get install libwebkitgtk-1.0-0
Relaunch Eclipse. No other downloads or changes were required.
It's also possible to receive this error if you try to launch the application from a different user than the one that started your X session.
