Displaying vertical images with Inno Setup [duplicate] - inno-setup

WizardImageFile does not work in Inno Setup 5.5.8

If you look here it shows a vertical image on the left. Example:
Now, I have the entries in my [Setup] section:
WizardImageFile=compiler:wizmodernimage-is.bmp
WizardSmallImageFile=compiler:wizmodernsmallimage-is.bmp
Yet for me, I never get images showing on the left:
Has the vertical image been dropped? I verify the files are in the compiler folder.

I found this answer. It states:
The WizardImageFile is shown on the Welcome and Finish pages. However, the Welcome page is skipped by default now (see DisableWelcomePage), so it will normally only be visible on the Finished page. (This is enabled by default, but it is possible that you disabled that too -- see DisableFinishedPage.)
The WizardSmallImageFile is shown on all other pages.
That explains why I can’t see the images. Wonder by the Welcome Page is off by default?
I found this which states:
Don't use Welcome pages—make the first page functional whenever possible. Use an optional Getting Started page only when:
The wizard has prerequisites that are necessary to complete the wizard successfully.
Users may not understand the purpose of the wizard based on its first Choice page, and there isn't room for further explanation.
The main instruction for Getting Started pages is "Before you begin:".

Contextual inline menu doesn't appear on some inserted images

The contextual inline menu appears on inserted images with the same domain name. It doesn't appear on outside images.
For instance: http://fiddle.tinymce.com/k5faab/35 you will notice that I added imagetools_toolbar: "openlink link unlink", to the tinymce.init. Try to insert an image ( https://www.paintthemoon.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/250x250.gif ) you will notice that the contextual menu is missing.
I am using TinyMCE 4.7. The issue is present on all browsers.
What you are seeing is expected behavior due to how CORS works in the browser. You can create an image proxy to address this as documented here:
https://www.tiny.cloud/docs/plugins/imagetools/#imagetools_proxy
Another alternative is to build your own method to fetch the image:
https://www.tiny.cloud/docs/plugins/imagetools/#imagetools_fetch_image
...but note that you still have to abide by CORS restrictions so the image proxy may be the more robust solution.

SPA approach not working if page contains b:carousel

Environment:
I'm writing a SPA with JSF2.2, Bootsfaces 0.9.1, Primefaces 6.0, JEE7 and Hibernate 5.2 in combination with MySQL 5.7 DB.
What I have:
My SPA has a navbar on the upper part and a specific menu based on the selection of the navbar on the left. On the right side and under the navbar I've my main "content page". Similar to this picture but with the difference that my menu is dynamic:
For updating the content page I'm using AJAX.
Everything around the navigation is working as I expected as long as my content page does not contain a b:carousel!
What I tried to do:
As I mentioned above my SPA and all navigation is working correctly unless I add a b:carousel to a content page.
Please consider following example:
I got 2 content pages. Page 1 contains a single label with some text. Page 2 contains a b:carousel with some images. Page 1 is the welcome page.
As soon as I navigate from page 1 to page 2 nothing happens. I need to completely refresh the whole page to see page 2 and even this is not working everytime.
My main question:
Is there any trick to update the content page with ajax if there's a b:carousel on it?
What am I doing wrong?
EDIT:
I created a sample project on github so you're able to see what I mean. I used Java 1.8, Tomcat 8.0.36 and Netbeans IDE, however the project is a Maven project an should work in eclipse, too.
Project: https://github.com/mweber96/stackoverflow39128418
SPA Approach I partly used: http://www.beyondjava.net/blog/single-page-applications-with-bootsfaces/
This question is related to my previous question: Use ui:repeat with b:carousel?
It's a combination of two bugs:
Your example at GitHub uses PrimeFaces, but it doesn't seem to use a PrimeFaces component. The effect is that PrimeFaces adds some fancy JavaScript to load the missing CSS files dynamically (which is great!), but it doesn't add the PrimeFaces core library, so Mojarra runs into an exception it silently hides. You can fix this by adding a (possibly hidden) PrimeFaces component to your page, by including the PrimeFaces core.js file directly (although I wouldn't recommend that) or - of course - by removing the PrimeFaces dependency if you really don't need it.
BootsFaces relies on the HTML attributes to initialize the carousel. To my surprise, this even works, at least partially. However, to start the sliding automatically, you still need to initialize the JavaScript widget manually. In your case, that's
$("#myCarousel").carousel();
BTW, I suggest you open a bug on our bug tracker to fix the latter point (https://github.com/TheCoder4eu/BootsFaces-OSP/issues). Thanks in advance!

ModX - How to edit logo being displayed?

I've got a multilanguage ModX site. And noticed that when changing languages, it displays a different logo. WHat I need to do is to setup same logo for both languages. Basically:
English side showing: logo.png
Other language side showing: logo-new.png
I don't want to replace logo-new.png file with the correct image file on server in case another part of the site uses that file. So I'm left with actually editing the site header to show the correct logo.
When I go to ModX's site template, I see this code for the header:
<img src="[[++site_logo_img]]" itemprop="logo" class="site-logo">
So my question would be, where do I go to edit the ++site_logo_img value?
For web context try to look in system settings, for other contexts in context settings - https://rtfm.modx.com/revolution/2.x/administering-your-site/contexts
[[++site_logo_img]]
This is a MODX setting, these can be found in settings or in context settings.
Lets say you need a different logo for 2 MODX contexts, you can set a site_logo_img different setting in each context.

Kentico 9 blog main page, archive page, and tag page

I'm new to Kentico, and have spent hours trying to make the blog work but haven't had any luck. Hope someone could help. I created a new blog by [a] using Pages > New Page > Blog; [b] then applying the Blog page template to it; [c] after that I created 2 sample blog posts. The only thing that works is the individual blog post. Other things don't work:
1- the blog main page --> empty
2- the blog archive page (for July) --> empty
3- tag link --> error message "Page /Blogs/My-blog-1.aspx was not found." Although I know I can change the tag link url, not sure what should be in there.
4 - making "Blog" appears on my nav (that I used CSS List menu web part). For this one, as a workaround, I was thinking about adding a blank "Blog" page and had it redirected to the blog url.
I've read the documentation related to Blog, but couldn't make it to work. Thanks for help!
Some of the out of the box templates are setup in such a way to only work on some of the example site templates which is why you're getting these results.
In the rptAllPosts repeater, set the Path property to ./%, ensure the Page types property is set to cms.blogpost, make sure you have a value in the Transformation property as well.
Should be resolved when you finish #1
You will have to modify the Selected Transformation. If you're using the default transformation, about line 9, way at the end you will need to modify the last parameter from ~/Blogs/my-blog-1.aspx to ~/Blog. This should fix the blog tag link.
Your work-around is very common and I'd stick with it for now.

Top part of webpage stays the same

I want to create my webpage so that a part at the top that says "Welcome!" and a "main part" below that. When a user clicks on a link in the main part (say, it links to www.example.com), the main part should change to the content of www.example.com, but the top part should remain the same. How can I achieve that?
In ye olde days, this was done using frames, but for many reasons, they are going out of use. Try taking a look at iframes.
I believe you're looking for the
<frameset>
tag: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_frameset.asp
The <frameset> tag is not supported in HTML5. Although <iframe> works, it will impact your page's searchability (SEO), and setting up the page to scroll properly will be a hassle because the "top" part of the page will be like a page of itself.
Instead of using (i)frames, if you have PHP enabled on the server, you should store the "top" of your webpage as a separate file like "top.php", and in every page, include that with
include_once("top.php")
