Multi-cursor editing in Jupyter Lab - jupyter-lab

Previously, to enable multi-cursor editing in Jupyter Notebook, I used the a custom JS snippet:
require(["codemirror/keymap/sublime", "notebook/js/cell", "base/js/namespace"],
function(sublime_keymap, cell, IPython) {
cell.Cell.options_default.cm_config.keyMap = 'sublime';
var cells = IPython.notebook.get_cells();
for(var cl=0; cl< cells.length ; cl++){
cells[cl].code_mirror.setOption('keyMap', 'sublime');
}
}
);
I thought I would be able to accomplish the same thing under Settings->Text Editor Keymap->Sublime, but this doesn't appear to work.

It's possible now: 'ctrl + mouse click'

Customizing the cell editor of Jupyter Lab is not yet supported. See the discussion in these issues:
#3992 Support keymaps in notebook cells
#1362 Support Vim Editing Mode in Cells

Worth mentioning, I have found sometime you must go to settings and change the "code jump" setting to use "control" instead of the default "alt" key (on macOS only tested) to enable multiline select to work. It's an annoying issue but the change works.

Forward slash key not working in VS2019 code editor

Since a few days (I don't know exactly when it started) the forward key in VS2019 is not working in the code editor. No matter how many times I press it, it doesn't do anything.
It also doesn't work in the seach box in the menu bar (labelled 'Search (Ctrl+Q)') nor in the search box which appears with Ctrl+F.
It does work in other places, like the solution explorer search box (Ctrl+;) and in the resource editor.
The forward slash is working in any other application that I tried (including Visual Studio Code and MS Excel). The question mark (Shift+/) is working everywhere, including in the code editor window. Even AltGr+/ is working (producing the Spanish upside down question mark).
I tried all other keys, including the AltGr combinations. They all work fine. Keyboard layout is US International.
The foward slash key doesn't work in the code editor when typing it on the laptop keyboard, and doesn't work when typing it on an external keyboard, or via an RDP session.
I am running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, version 20H2, build 19042.685. System is up to date.
Visual Studio Professional 2019, 16.8.3, also up to date.
What is causing the forward slash key to fail?
How can I solve this problem?
(Too long for a comment.)
The OP indicated that the problem was resolved after resetting the keyboard shortcuts, which suggests that / was set as a keyboard shortcut either by accident or perhaps by an installed extension.
However, the question remains in such cases of how to identify what a particular keyboard shortcut is assigned to, in order to turn off just that one shortcut as opposed to resetting all.
Visual Studio does not appear to provide a place to see the list of all active keyboard shortcuts. An alternative is to go to Tools / Import and Export Settings / Export Selected / All Settings and save a .vssettings file with all the current settings. That is a plain text file with extended XML sections, and the keyboard shortcuts can be found under the following node (reformatted for readability):
<Category name="Environment_KeyBindings" ... >
<Version>16.0.0.0</Version>
<KeyboardShortcuts>
<DefaultShortcuts>
<Shortcut Command="View.ViewCode" Scope="Global">F7</Shortcut>
...
</DefaultShortcuts>
<UserShortcuts>
...
</UserShortcuts>
</KeyboardShortcuts>
</Category>
One of the <Shortcut> lines would have been listing / before the reset, and the Command attribute on that line indicated the assignment, so that it could be located and turned off individually in Tools / Options / Environment / Keyboard.
#dxiv Your comment made me check the shortcuts. Tedious job, scrolling through those hundreds of options). Nothing. Then I clicked the Reset button. That solved the problem.
In my case, the CodeRush extension was the guilty party. "Selection comment" gets set to use / upon installation. WTG DevExpress ......

Can't activate shortcut on intellij products

Description
I'm using some intellij products (WebStorm, PHPStorm) and Android Studio and have the same issue with both of theses.
I have an azerty keyboard, with a french layout.
I can type without issue in these softs, but I can't activate shortcuts.
When I try to activate a shortcut (e.g ctrl+z), the activated shortcut is ctrl+w.
the shortcut is correctly triggered, but with the wrong keyboard layout. It seems that when I type, my french keyboard is used, but when I want to use a shortcut, the english layout seems to be used.
Is this a known bug (if so, I've not found any mentions about it), or did I miss something?
What I've tried
I'm running on Fedora 29, with Gnome 3.
I've tried to see if it wasn't reproductible with others softs (e.g firefox/ vscode), and I can't reproduce this.
I've tried to see if it wasn't based on my keyboard settings, so I ran xev to monitor the output of pressed keys. I can't reproduce this issue.
In intellij settings, I've tried to set Keymap > Prefer key position over key char with national layout both true and false, it doesn't seem to change anything.
Current situation
Here is an exemple of a shortcut definition in Android Studio.
I pressed A to Y keys on my french keyboard (which output A,Z,E,R,T,Y), and then press the same keys with ctrl (which output ctrl+Q instead of ctrl+A and so on)
https://imgur.com/a/U4aFd7F
Expected situation (tl;dr)
I expect that when I press ctrl+a, the shortcut triggered inside intellij products is ctrl+a instead of ctrl+q
It is indeed a known bug: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-165950
In the bug report another workaround is mentioned for Gnome 3:
Re-order the languages in Settings > Language and Region tab, put English(US) first of the input source list.
I solved it by running setxkbmap fr. I don't know why this is required by intellij products, but it works.

How to restore Sublime 3 to the restore single-window mode?

I am using Sublime 3 but I am a newbie. I was trying to define some preferences, like the font size. However, I messed up things and I am not being able to restore.
Currently, I have this two windows "dashboard":
How can I restore it to the default one-window view?
I tried to look for things over the preference menu, but checking/unchecking all the available options did not help me to solve this problem.
It looks like you added an extra column. Try going to View, then setting Layout to Single or use the keyboard shortcut: Shift+Alt+1.
If you used File/Split View, setting single column mode won't work. In this case I found you can just click on another tab and the split will go away. Not at all intuitive.

Pressing Tab in conemu + Python3.4

I'm new to ConEmu, so please forgive me if this is too simple. When I press Tab key (say trying to define a function), ConEmu will show many keywords but not a simple "tab", is there someway to disable this? I checked keyboard settings, but couldn't find solution.
Thanks!
ConEmu does not handle tab key at all. What you see is the python auto completion. Refer to python manuals or forums...

In Vim, why doesn't my mouse work past the 220th column?

I tend to maximize a terminal to one screen, and vertically split several windows in Vim. Everything works fine for the first few windows on the left, but clicking past about the 220th column in the terminal doesn't work correctly. Any mouse clicks past column 220 seem to be wrapping around to column 1. I've tested in xterm, urxvt, and Gnome terminal with and without tmux/screen; always the same behavior. If I greatly increase the size of the font in Gnome terminal, I can click on the last column (although it is no longer past column #220).
If I run a command in a terminal that prints to standard output, I can click all the way to the right of the terminal. The problem does seem to be related to Vim.
I have set mouse=a in .vimrc. I'll post the entire file on request, but it doesn't seem to have anything else related to the mouse.
It's probably irrelevant, but I'm running Xmonad+Gnome. Thanks in advance.
This has been fixed in Vim 7.3.632. See :h sgr-mouse. Or just put this in your ~/.vimrc:
set ttymouse=sgr
If you want to be compatible with versions that don't have mouse_sgr compiled in, use:
if has("mouse_sgr")
set ttymouse=sgr
else
set ttymouse=xterm2
end
To see if your version of Vim has mouse_sgr, run vim --version from the command-line, or in Vim, enter :version, and look for +mouse_sgr.
If you're using older versions of screen, or terminal emulators that don't support SGR, you may need to upgrade or switch. These settings work with all new versions of screen, tmux, gnome-terminal, PuTTY/KiTTY, iTerm2, and Terminal.app, using TERM=xterm-256color or screen-256color.
Update: If you're using neovim, SGR support is enabled by default.
Edit:
I deleted the bug report, as that tracker was for the website, not the text editor.
In looking in the correct place for an existing bug report, I found this:
http://groups.google.com/group/vim_dev/browse_thread/thread/4c137e64d2032441/b3993eaa89589619?lnk=gst&q=mouse#b3993eaa89589619
To summarize, it was an xterm limitation that has been lifted. However, Vim does not yet support columns longer than 223.
Original:
This seems to be a bug, as supported by comments made by redstreet. I filed a bug report:
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3389331&group_id=27891&atid=391887
A few years later, the bug still seems to be present.
The solution I found is neovim: a modern refactor of vim. Among other features, this bug has been resolved.
I simply copied my .vimrc into .nvimrc, and my plugins just worked with nvim. Maybe I'll just keep using that.
