How to paginate data from remote db in Typo3? - pagination

I wrote a website using TYPO3 7 CMS. Now I need to display database content in frontend(like on the picture). But I don't have any idea, how to do that. I've searched for a coresponding plugin in TYPO3 repository and found cag_tables. But it doesn't work cause it for version 6.0...

Use the paginate widget viewhelper:
<f:widget.paginate objects="{blogs}" as="paginatedBlogs" configuration="{itemsPerPage: 5, insertAbove: 1, insertBelow: 0, maximumNumberOfLinks: 10}">
use {paginatedBlogs} as you used {blogs} before, most certainly inside
a <f:for> loop.
</f:widget.paginate>

Using Orchard CMS, how do I add a script reference for display only on the home page?

I have a site that is using Orchard CMS and I would like to add a script reference and bit of JavaScript to the home page. It needs to be placed below the existing jQuery script include. What's the best way to achieve this? I've tried using an HTML Widget in the Footer zone of TheHomePage layer of my theme, but this widget produces a and doesn't place the element in the correct location (at the bottom of the element, below the existing jquery reference).
The site is running an old version of Orchard; 1.0 I believe.
You can either use a layout alternate for the homepage (but that may not exist on an antique 1.0), layout-homepage.cshtml with a #using(Script.Foot()) {} block containing your script, or you can use Vandelay Classy to add a script from the admin (but that probably also won't work on 1.0).
Or if none of what Bertrand mentioned above work, just add a html widget to the homepage layer and chuck your script reference in the html section

Orchard Projection Isotope

I'm trying create an affiliate directory on my Orchard site. The directory is populated by running a query on my custom Content Type. The directory needs to be sortable and searchable. I've set up a basic jsfiddle here that is a basic functioning version of what I'm attempting to do, but it's just in html: http://orchard1.pha.jhu.edu/affiliates-beta-2
Or you can view the jsfiddle here: http://jsfiddle.net/tgelles/AMZf8/
Has anyone discovered a way to best use isotope on an Orchard Projection? I've downloaded the Projection Layout module, but I have no idea how to use that/where to inject the specific isotope code. I've also created alternate template files for the Projection's Summary display, but I don't know how to best inject the isotope plugin into that razor file.
Any help would be appreciated.
The best way would be creating a shape, but You could easily edit the query template and inject the js through a custom view for that projection(url,type, etc)
Check in your Queries.
There was a video which helped me understand better how they work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ka55wTTXZg8
Hope it helps.

Pagination [+next+] not working on MODx CMS template

I'm having difficulty getting the pagination functionality working with [[Ditto? ... ]] in MODx CMS.
I have the documents displaying in the page, limit is set to 5. The output from my other pagination template placeholders seem to be working but the [+next+] link doesn't load the next set of 5 documents (going in descending date order).
Here's my template code:
[[Ditto?
&parents=`13`
&tpl=`ArticleListChunk`
&display=`5`
&&removeChunk=`Comments`
&paginate=`1`
&extenders=`summary,dateFilter`
&paginateAlwaysShowLinks=`0`
&dateFormat=`%F %D %Y`
]]
<p>Showing <strong>[+start+]</strong> - <strong>[+stop+]</strong> of <strong>[+total+]</strong> Articles</p>
<ul class="clearfix">
<li>[+previous+]</li>
<li>Page <strong>[+currentPage+]</strong> of [+totalPages+]</li>
<li>[+next+]</li>
</ul>
The output I get is:
Showing 1 - 5 of 17 Articles
Page 1 of 4
Next >
as you can see the output is correct, however when I click the 'next' link the resulting URL is .../news.html?start=5 but the content of the page stays the same (i.e. the latest 5 documents are shown!).
This is how the template and functionality was when I was inherited this project from a client, and I have never used MODx CMS before -- can anyone help me please?
I there a way to update the SQL offset with a parameter or something? I've been all through the Wiki pages for Ditto / MODx but can't find what I need or what I should be doing that I'm not!
I would think you need to call ditto uncached [[!Ditto? attribs ]]
That's just a guess.
Also it looks like you are using EVO? check the cache syntax, you might need to put an exclamation mark at the end as well. [[!Ditto? attribs !]]
After plenty of searching I found a post on the MODx forum that pointed me in the right direction.
Turns out that caching was enabled in the page/document's settings (doh!). I disabled this and now it works fine!
However I have not set the no-caching token ('!') in Ditto's parameter string which, including the answer from Sean, my research has suggested is advisable and/or required. I've not worked with MODx before so I can't say for certain, but it seems to work without this for me!
Thanks #SeanKimball as your answer set me down the right path.

HTML Editor in Orchard 1.4

I had a look around on SO to see if someone has asked this question before or not, but couldn't find any posts. My apologizes, if this is a duplicate question.
In Orchard 1.3, there is a module for HTML field that one can use...but there is nothing in Orchard 1.4. How do I go about creating a content type with multiple HTML fields? ( Just adding it in UI and not coding).
Thanks
It's the opposite. There wasn't one out of the box in 1.3, and you had to download one from the gallery, whereas it's built-in 1.4.

Use image buttons for pagination - Drupal

The default pagination in drupal is great, but the text links are used
<<first <previous 6 7 next> last>>
But I need to use forward and backward image buttons instead of text links. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Depending on what portions of the pager you're interested in replacing with images, you may be able to use CSS background images, without having to override the theme function. However, in the default pager output, not all the links may have unique classes.
That said, if you're using Drupal's default pager, you can override the theme_pager function to add your image links.
If you're using the Views module, you may be using a different theming function. When in doubt, you should be able to use the Theme Developer module to find which function or template file is outputting the part of the page you're interested in theming. Theme Developer will also tell you what suggestions you can use to override the output.
