Android Studio: Can not calculate Diff - android-studio

My compare files utility from Android Studio 2.3.3 is not working anymore, it shows the message "Can not calculate diff" and generate the following error on Event Log:
NullPointerException: update failed for ActionGroup: null (null)[null]
Here is the log captured by the Report to Google dialog
I'm using Mac, I already uninstalled Android Studio, Android-sdk, cloned the project again from git and deleted the Android folder under ~/User/MyUser/Library/Android, but the problem continues.
It does not happen with the other computers from my team.
Anyone knows how to fix this? It wasn't happening last week.

Delete Android Studio.app
Delete the following folders:
~/Library/Application Support/AndroidStudio
~/Library/Caches/AndroidStudio
~/Library/Logs/AndroidStudio
~/Library/Preferences/AndroidStudio
Reinstall Android Studio.

So, after trying out lot of solutions on stack nth helped and sort out this problem. Eventually, I had to restore my android studio to default settings. So, that how my problem was resolved.

Android Studio 3.4 stuck on indexing project

Few days ago, I have update android studio 3.4.
Now, when I open any project or build new project it's stuck on indexing.
I have try many solution like "Invalid catch and restart", remove ".android", remove ".gradle" and remove ".AndroidStudio3.4" folder but still I have facing this issue in android studio 3.4.
When I forcefully close android studio from windows task manager then after android studio not starting again until restart system and task manager in showing android studio running.
How can I solved this issue?
Try reinstalling. No need to uninstall, you just need to follow the steps in the setup to remove that version. If your computer tells you that there are files with the same name then simply overwrite.

Intelij Solution
This worked for me
Close Android studio
Delete all files from
C:\Users\.AndroidStudio3.2\system\caches
C:\Users\.AndroidStudio3.2\config //not importent
start android studio
Ran into the same issue. Seems to be something specifically related to Android Studio 3.2. My solution on Windows was to delete everything withing the cache/ folder in the .AndroidStudio3.2/ folder.
This problem happen for Android studio Cache & History.
Firstly In android studio go File -> Close Project and Exit Android Studio.
Then Delete below 2 Folders:
C:\Users\user-name.AndroidStudio3.X\system\caches
C:\Users\user-name.AndroidStudio3.X\config\terminal\history (optional)
Open the Android Studio and Enjoy!
Complete uninstall Android Studio (including system and cache files) and Reinstalling clears my bug...

Handle Subversion error in Android Studio

I've connected my Android Studio with SVN and everything worked so far. Now there is following problem:
I've added an image file to my drawable folder and added it also to the VCS. After that I moved the image file to the drawable-nodpi folder.
If I want to commit my changes Android Studio says "...png is scheduled for addition, but is missing".
How can I handle this problem in Android Studio?
Your question is not realted to Android Studio at all. It's just SVN complaining about missing file stagged for commit. So if you changed your mind, unstage it
svn revert FILE
EDIT
I don't know how to solve this with Android Studio. I don't have svn command
Andoid Studio is IntelliJ based so see their help:
https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/revert-changes-dialog.html

I cant create new project in android studio

I installed android studio and when I tried to open the android studio I cant run android emulator and It display the error report in below tab.
This is that error message
null value in entry:libOutputDir=null
and line down display the Build Failed
This maybe a gradle bug. Delete the gradle folder in the root directory of your application. Then open the app, let the studio rebuild the gradle again. This has been an issue for a lot of people.
