Custom theme as feature - node.js

so i'm creating an app that needs a dashboard where the user can adjust a "custom" css layout, i cant think on a solution for this problem. You have something in mind that could help me accomplish a solution for this?
Thanks.
Im currently using expressjs and mongoose if you need to know.

front-end will send you via a POST the name of the theme when the user will try to change it and you will save it in the users collection for that user id. The front-end app will use the default theme, unless it gets the theme name via a GET and apply new css.
Also, you could use local storage for this feature.
EDIT: I assume that the user can pick theme from predefined names (templates) like "Dark", "Light" theme etc.

How to use Strapi to store user data

I am creating an eCommerce platform using strapi. Strapi only has option for user-email and password.
I want to store user's address, contact details, previous orders etc. Is there a way to do so?
I am using the quickstart template.
Strapi version 3.0.0-beta.17.7 (node v10.16.3)
IMO the best way would be to create a profile model with a one to one relation to the user. You will need to create your own isOwner policy on the findOne, create, update routes however. This way on that user can view/create/update their own profiles.
Off course there is a way to do so!
Go to your admin panel http://localhost:1337/admin
Click on Content Type Builder on your left sidebar
Select User
Click on Add Another Field
And add every field you need for your eCommerce platform!

OrchardCMS Theme broken, need to get to the Dash

I have a broken site ATM and the theme layout is stuffed, I need to get to the dashboard by entering the direct link, does anyone have a sample that I can use.
Forced an update of the engine to the lastest version, and found that I needed to make changes to the user roles and configuration, made the changes in the database and got it working. What I found is that the user now needs to be part of a role, in the database made the change to the user giving them role ID of 1, this allowed me to go to the \admin page to get to the dashboard, from there I could reset to a default theme and get the site back up and running again

Liferay: How can I set a specific layout for Terms of use content, the page shown after an user registered

Using Liferay 6.2, I try to workaround to set a specific layout for the Terms of use, shown after an user registered to the portal, and also Verify Email Address page after the user clicked "Agree" under URL /c/portal/....
I would like to have these pages showing with a look and feel I created. For example, I have created a layout called "1_column_white" in the theme I am using for this site and would like to assign to these pages (Terms of use and Verify Email Address). I did try to overwrite property in portal.properties but there is nothing come up.
Please kindly give me an advice.
Regards,
Create a Liferay hook as explained here to modify /portal-trunk/portal-web/docroot/html/portal/terms_of_use.jsp file as per your requirement.

xpages: retrieving database icon

I want to rewrite the lotus notes workspace using xpages.
So far i am successful but one feature is giving me quit a headache.
How can i access the database icon of a lotus notes application.
I tried to access: http://notespath.mydomain.com/$icon. That problem with that is that
it is not using the login from the current session to access the database and
retrieve the icon. Instead it tries to get it using the anonymous id. If the
anonymous id has no access to the database i get a popup to login.
My question is: Is possible to do this with the user that is logged in to the xpage
or is there is a way to export the database icon into a notes document.
Try following instructions here:
How to extract Lotus Notes database icon?
This should give you a method to get to the DXLExporter, and it looks like the icon is in the IconBitmap object. You're still going to get .ico files out though, which aren't ideal, but could be a good starting point for what you're trying to do here.
As Aaron Brake commented, XPages engine cannot access old Domino URL format for icon. Also see this: Image URL when previewed in Notes and in Web Browser
In our applications we use dedicated 32x32 PNG image resource (img_DBIcon) which is used in XPages. Developers need to maintain this image resource.
What´s about if you change your URL to a database icon??
Don´t use http://notespath.mydomain.com/$icon
Try http://notespath.mydomain.com/DB.nsf/$icon

How can we enable user's thumbnails on their drupal content?

I am going on making a Drupal site matches with my requirement. A requirement describes that on each node, such as Blog or Forum, except publisher's name and published date below the node's title, should show the user's thumbnail (similar to avatar in Facebook or Twitter) too.
I thing there is an existing module for this requirement. but I couldn't find it.
Could you tell me how to do this? some guideline or link to an example? it would be nice if you can tell me the module that is able to do this thing.
you wany to enable picture support: http://drupal.org/node/22271
and in addition, you probaly want to change the theme to call
theme('user_picture', $account);
where you want to display the picture (where $account is the account object of the user that is posting the node/comment)
the corresponding template file is user-picture.tpl.php
