I am doing an application in which a form data is filled by user.All are working fine.But I want the animation effects in Xamarin forms for android and iOS as shown below.Anyone please give me a suggestion to move forward with animation effects in my app.
Thanks in advance.
There are many methods for animation on Forms.
like
Label lb = new Label();
lb.ScaleTo(...)
lb.FadeTo(...)
lb.TranslateTo(...)
and You can also adjust it's position by using lb.TranslateX or Y
You can use it and mix it when it's needed.
Then, You will achieve what you want.

i am making a java desktop application using javafx. For gui building i am using scene builder 2.0.
Everything is just perfect as expected just 1 thing. I want to customize the buttons. i want to assign a custom graphic to a button.
When i use [button.setgraphic(node)] , this statement set the new graphic to the button but default graphic of button also remains present as well.
I just want to remove the default graphic and then want to assign the new (custom) garaphic to a control like buttons and radio buttons in javafx. 1 thing again i must tell that i am using scene builder for building gui.
How can i achieve this ?
thanks in advance....
Below is the screen-shot of current occuring situation, .....
Here i have made a button using javafx scene builder , and then in the controller of the fxml file (.java file) i am trying to set the image (shown in orange box in snapshot) to that button by using setGraphics property of button ..... i just need that button to be of following shape ...
You'd better customize your button via CSS. Here goes tutorial. What you are trying to do is to modify button picture (which is empty by default). I guess this wasn't your exact purpose.
button.setGraphic(null)
// worked for me.
I have many buttons on my activity and I need to flip the whole layout once a single button was clicked.The button that was clicked must show a specific activity which is clickable also with flip.
Help me here...
Note: I've seen a lot of tutorials online but they only flip the single image. thanks
A flip activity is basically a rotation at Y axis. You can achieve it via ObjectAnimator.
ObjectAnimator anim=ObjectAnimator.ofFloat(yourView, "rotationY", 360);
In case you work with API Level below 11 you need to use Nine-old-androids library since new Animation API which includes ObjectAnimator, ValueAnimator and a couple more became available with API Level 11 and above.
Refer to the lib;

I have a number of UILabels on a single view of a iphone application ios 4.3. How to handle touch events for all these labels at one time? I wanted to show pop overs on touch of that label. I know popovers are not available on iphone and will be making my custom ones.
what i did was using UITapGestureRecognizer and adding an action #selector(labelTap:) and then doing [label addGestureRecognizer:TapGestureRecognizerObject. But when i use the same UITapGestureRecognizer for all my UIlabels only the last added label shows the tap action.
i have set userInteractionEnable to YES.
Can any one point me to the right direction?
You need to create separate UITapRecognizer for tracking different UILabel, when a UIGestureRecognizer is added to multiple views, it will only track event from last it added to. To better understand why you need different instances of UITapRecognizer, think of it as a UIView that only handles touches event but doesn't do any drawing.
I'm new to GDI+ programming and am looking for some advice.
I am loading an image from a file and displaying it using the following functions (some pseudo code included):
Gdiplus::Image *i = new Gdiplus::Image(file, other parameters ... );
Gdiplus::DrawImage(i, other parameters ... );
I would like to associate a tooltip with the image. Is there any way that I can automatically set/attach a tooltip to the Gdiplus::Image objact (or any other Gdiplus control that I wish to draw for that matter)?
If not, how can such functionality be achieved? I have looked at CToolTipCtrl in WTL but don't know how to attach it to the Gdiplus::Image.
Thanks in advance.
After investigating this more, I've realised that this is not possible, so to speak. You must use GDI+ to draw your own tool tip my monitoring mouse events to see when it is hovering over something, then using the device context to do the drawing withing the mouse hover event handler.
if you use the Google Plus App on Android and switch to the Stream, you get a view where you can swipe to the left and right between the All circles/Incoming/Nearby-Stream. What view component is used for this? Is this a standard Android component? Or where can I find democode how i can build such a view component?
You should take a look at the ViewPager from Android Compatibility Package for the desired widget/swipe navigation. Find more about it here
http://developer.android.com/sdk/compatibility-library.html
Also, checkout this recently posted tutorial and some sample code on ViewPager by Richard:
http://geekyouup.blogspot.com/2011/07/viewpager-example-from-paug.html
It is a combination of a ViewPager together with an indicator for where you are currently and where you can go swiping left and right.
A sample of how this can be done along with code you can use in your own apps may for example be found here. I've played with this code a little and it works pretty well.
None of the default widgets/views. I guess, it's some kind of a custom view with swipe functionality.
Honeycomb opens up a few new widgets which seem to have these functionality. Have a look here.

I used APKTool to take a look at what's going on. Hopefully it is okay to post this here. This is from version 1.0.2 of the G+ APK.
removed google+ app code as per CommonsWare's suggestion
So, it looks like they're using standard views, though perhaps with a good deal of gesture detection and smooth animation magic.
EDIT) If you really want to know about the exact inner-workings of what is going on in the Stream activity, I suggest you use APKTool yourself and examine the .smali code
