auth0 and azure active directory - azure

I would like to take user details from Microsoft AZURE Active Directory and let that user login through auth0.
Additionally I want all the user in azure active directory to get provisioned into auth0 database.

To enable the app to authenticate with auth0 which also support Microsoft Azure AD accounts, we need to config auth0 to connect the Azure AD. You can refer this document for the detailed steps.
And after you login using the Azure AD account, it should be provisioned into auth0 database automatically. You can check the uses using the API Explorer provided by auth0 to check the users.

Give user permession with Azure AD

I have an already deployed application on azure app service which uses azure AD for authentication and authorization.
Unfortunately the developer who worked on it is no longer available
i got access to all Azure resources and source code but i cant figure out how can i add my azure account as one of the users to the app (i can login but its an empty view for me unlike what it used to be with the developer access).
Also i find the app registered on Azure AD and i am an owner there but still with no right access.
When i try to login localy from the frontend it say
Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Default Directory' and
cannot access the application '[some numbers] in that tenant. The
account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a
different account.
Would appreciate any help and many thanks in advance.

This is because your backend application is enabled with Azure AD Authentication.
After you sign in to your front-end application, you still can't access the data from the back-end app, because the back-end app now requires Azure Active Directory sign-in from the front-end app
To access the application, follow the below steps:
Grant the front-end access to the back end
Configure App Service to return a usable token
Use the token in your code

Okta as IDP for Azure

So I want to provide access to users over Okta to Azure.
We have local AD which is not synced to MS Azure account
We have custom domain inside Azure AD
There is also 2nd part of this where we want to sync local AD mail field to Workday and add some O365 users to the same tenant which is another (native) Okta app.
So looking at docs, it seems I need to install ADConnect client which will import all users to the same O365/Azure tenant. Then on the Okta, there is native o365 app that I simply need to configure (it didn't look like problematic). But for the Azure part, the documentation is not really good and I am confused what should I do with Azure.
It seems I need to add Custom SAML 2.0 Application on Okta for Azure and configure External Identities-->New SAML connection on Azure. There also should be a way how to link Okta users to AzureAD ones but they have different domains. Did I get this correctly?

Use AAD Connect to sync on-premise users to Azure AD
Integrate on-premise AD with Okta
Use Okta's native Office 365 application to integrate Okta with Azure AD for Single Sign On. When you use this application, you don't have to do anything on Azure AD. Azure API: Grant Permissions to Users in Different Tenant

We have a client that owns two separate Azure Cloud tenants: ACloud and BCloud.
ACloud contains their regular SaaS and Azure AD users log in with userName#clientACloud.onmicrosoft.com
BCloud contains only IT/sysadmin users managing cloud PaaS resources and users log in with userName#clientBCloud.onmicrosoft.com
We have deployed an API to BCloud which requires Azure AD authentication. The API is being called from a mobile app written in React. There, users are presented with a login screen and must login using username#clientBCloud.onmicrosoft.com
However, we want users to be able to log in using their normal userName#clientACloud.onmicrosoft.com
Is there a way to configure the API in BCloud to use ACloud’s Azure AD for authentication to an API hosted in BCloud?
One resource from Microsoft recommended using the graph API. I think the graph API would allow the mobile app to authenticate the user’s ACloud account, but that SAML token won’t work against BCloud’s API. We are looking for some way that the API in BCloud can accept user tokens from ACloud, so I suspect there is some configuration we need to make in BCloud to trust ACloud’s Azure AD.

How do I register an app in client's active directory using my multi tenant app in microsoft azure?

I have registered a multi-tenant app in my Azure subscription. using this App, I want to create an OAuth flow for my client to be able to give me permissions to create an app in his active directory.
We are using OpenID connect flow to access the Azure AD graph API.
In spite of making our app multi-tenanted via the console, we are getting the following error when the client (xyz#outlook.com) tries to sign in:
User account 'xyz#outlook.com' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Default Directory' and cannot access the application 'bf5ca806-xxxx-xxxx-xxx-xxxx' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account
I used the following endpoint to get an access token:

Unfortunately, you cannot use a guest user to login Azure AD Graph Explorer for now.
I came across the same issue as yours long time ago and I understand it's very important for customers. So, you can post your idea in this User Voice Page and the Azure Team will see it. I will also upvote for it.
But there are other solutions if you don't mind:
Solution 1: Try to use an internal account of that directory which upn ends with .onmicrosoft.com
Solution 2: Try to use other tools to get access token with a guest user(this account also need to be an admin of that directory), such as postman. Then you can use Postman to call Azure AD Graph API. You can refer to this blog to use Azure AD Graph API with Postman.

Using AD Token for access to multiple applications registered in Azure AD

We have chosen Azure AD for authenticating users for the Enterprise Web applications developed using MVC and hosted on Azure Cloud Platform.
We are trying to plan & develop a common portal for the users to which they can login using Azure AD login screen. This Portal will display the links to the cloud applications to which the user has access and they could access the cloud application from this portal.
Please let me know whether this is feasible since I have read in many places that the Azure AD token assigned to the user from Azure AD is valid only for one resource or registered application. Does that mean that when they try to login into another Cloud application registered to the same Azure AD from the portal, they will need to login again or re-use the Azure AD token for the portal in the browser session cookie for logging into the other applications?
It's true that your users authenticate against an application registered in Azure AD and that the issued token is only valid for that application.
However, the user establishes a session with the authorization server (Azure AD) and will not be prompted for credentials when redirected there to authenticate against another registered application.
So your portal page can just contain links to the URLs for the applications. Each application redirects the user to Azure AD for authentication and the user is only prompted for credentials for the first application he/she logs in to.
