Virtual scrolling works fine, as soon as we don't introduce a detail item template on it.
Actually is not working, are there any plans to have it in the next future?
As you have found out, virtual scrolling needs to know the height of the items, in order to function properly. This is so that the scroll size is correctly calculated, based on the content size -- if these are not in sync, the user experience is quite frustrating. This is documented in the scroll modes section of the documentation.

Not entirely sure the best way to describe this strange behavior that I've been dealing with, so I've added screenshots below. Anyway, I've built portals inside of a tab control field on my layout. Initially, my fields inside of the portal would turn fully black whenever I scrolled through the records or tried to make edits to the field itself. However, after changing from the Classic Theme the file is currently using, it's stopped completely filling in black, but the fields are still showing some strange behavior.
Basically, even though I've made sure every possible alteration of the field (active, in focus, hover, etc) all have the exact same styling on them, the entire set of fields get this weird outline on them when I go to edit a single field.
Nothing selected here, this is how I'd like the portal to stay whether someone is making changes or not.
The "NRG" field is selected to make changes, and every other field ends up getting a strange border around the field.
Any help that you might have in getting rid of this strange behavior would be really appreciated. Thank you!
FINALLY.
Found the answer. Evidently there is a check box in the Layout Setup menu for "Show Field Frames when record is active."
Uncheck that.
Fixed.
I don't want to hide time, but want to use full screen
In the storyboard on the interface controller settings I set the checkbox "Full Screen" and "Fixed to screen edges" to ON.
In the storyboard I can see the full screen mode is working and the WKInterfaceGroup is scaled to the entire display.
But unfortunately on the watch device/simulator it does not work.
The group has alignment center/center OR center/top and width and height are set to "Relative to Container"
How can I really use the full screen mode?.
I just have to add a label equal to Time in top black space. I want to show some text here. I have seen this in some other apps, They are using this space. Even in Apple design guide lines docs, they use this space. I am adding these reference screenshots also.
In above pictures, you can see they used this top space for titles. I also want to add a label to show some text equal to time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is a really weird bug. After digging around I've found a way to fill the whole screen. It's not pretty but I'm consistently getting full screen if i'm adding a sprite kit scene into a "main group". Again; it's not an elegant fix but it works and isn't really that resource intensive. Hope this works for you too!
I'm working on an existing React-Native app, and in the iOS version, there's a problem where a portion of the bottom of the screen does not respond. At first it was thought to be on a specific screen, but upon further investigation, it was found to be affecting other screens as well. The control used on the first screen where the problem was noticed is TouchableOpacity, but a rectangular section in the middle at the bottom of the screen does not respond, but in either corner at the bottom of the screen it does respond. Another screen has a ListView, and if you attempt to scroll from that same bottom middle area, it won't, but everywhere else, it will. This is evident in both the simulator and on the physical device. It acts like there's something in the road floating over the top of everything.
I've tried using the Accessibility Inspector to identify the cause, but this hasn't revealed anything.
The highlighted area in the screenshot above is where I'm referring to.
To complicate things further, this problem doesn't exist in the Android version.
Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, what was the cause and how do I fix it?
Edit: I've now determined the cause is an Animated View that's hanging about, it seems not all the child elements within it are having their opacity set to 0. I've attempted to address this using pointerEvents, but this just moves the problem to a different child element.
Anyone have any suggestions?
The issue turned out to be that the parent was having it's height changed during the show and hide events to avoid this same issue in Android, so we need to only change it if the platform is Android.
this.setState({height: (Platform.OS === 'ios') ? 50: 0});
I am using MVC3, ASP.NET4.5
Love Glimpse, but finding the bottom right location frustrating, as it can disappear, and only by resizing the browser window, does it reappear again. May be to do with my master page and layers, not sure
So can one have the HUD appear top left.
Probably a simple html/ config issue.
Many thanks,
EDIT
Perhaps, on reflection this is not possible, as the detailed panes pop upwards, so no room. Would have to be a Heads Down Display :)
Currently its not really possible because of the design (as per your edit). But v2 of Glimpse should allow for such changes to occur as the design is different and should allow for this flexibility.
I'm working with Dreamweaver CS3. The question here is what part of the code (listed below) do I need to replicate to have my secondary nav bar utilize the on-click action?
FYI...DW has two menu options or auto insert items...one for roll over images and one for "navbar". DW will only allow you to use the 'navbar' item once per page
the nav bar option builds all the rollover actions for you (listed below)
the "rollover" option ONLY builds normal and over, but no click
I guess I really have two questions...the first is what part of the code do I need to insert manually, the second is what does the "MM_nbGroup" code mean?
"../photogallery.html" target="_top" onClick="MM_nbGroup('down','group1','photoMainNav','../images/buttons/photography_down.gif',1)"
onMouseOver="MM_nbGroup('over','photoMainNav','../images/buttons/photography_over.gif','../images/buttons/photography_over.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_nbGroup('out')"><img src="../images/buttons/photography.gif"
Thanks for any help on this in advance!
For anyone wondering the same thing, here's what I've found so far...
The 'insert' bar provided in DWCS3 doesn't allow for two 'inserted' menu bars on one page. However, the 'Behaviors' palette will allow you to add effective roll-overs with the "Set Nav Bar Image" option. Unfortunately (as far as I can tell) DWCS3 is not as smart as Adobe's GoLive was, in that it won't automatically fill in the appropriate items if you name your files correctly. Even still, you should name your images accordingly (xxx_over, xxx_down, etc) to keep it straight in your own head.
As for the MM_nbGroup question, best I can tell this is WYSIWYG code that ships with DWCS3 (the kind of stuff that really mifs some of you developers, sorry guys), as it names items by group # and doesn't seem to have any real relevance in the lexicon of html. I could be mistaken on this however, and am open to enlightenment on the topic if anyone can offer.
