Making a website but need E-commerce - web

I want to make a website for my friend who wants to sell clothing items. I can code a website with html, css and basic Javascript. I think this would be great for a portfolio piece. My only concern is I don't know enough programming to build a shopping cart or the checkout. Or any transaction for that matter. I can code forms but only the design of them. Can someone more experienced lend some advice on what I can do? Is there a way I can design my own website but use something else for the e-commerce part? Thanks in advance.

You have 3 options
Develop the whole store yourself
Use a CMS/Plugin to achieve that (like woocommerce for wordpress)
Make your site simple plain html with links to PayPal or similar's
I think you are looking for the last option here. It doesn't come with a lot of options, but would help you sell products and manage prices/expenses/return/etc. in a trusted service. You can create pricing buttons inside paypal for business website, and place them with html on your website. When the person clicks the button, they would be redirected to paypal's website
PayPal for Business
Premier accounts include all the benefits of Personal accounts, as well as our special features. Business accounts allow you to do business under a company or group name, accept all payment types for low fees, and accept payment from customers without PayPal accounts.
You can find more information on how to proceed on PayPal Developer Wiki
cheers :)

Live Display inventory for Paypal button

I am trying to integrate a PayPal buy button into my website, and I am using the built-in inventory feature. I am trying to find a way to display how many units are left for inventory, as it will be small group tickets I am selling and I want my customers to know if an event is full or not. how would I display that?
The basic HTML hosted buttons generated by PayPal will not display remaining inventory.
To do so, essentially you need your own database that tracks inventory and displays this value on page load. When processing a transaction, before capturing a payment you should verify that there is enough remaining inventory, and decrement the inventory when the capture is successful.
There are third party solutions that implement such functionality (stock/inventory management), if you are unfamiliar with how to program such a site your self. PayPal's partner directory may be a place to start, and you can also search the web.

NetSuite external form

I need to present a form to customers to allow interaction with regard to back orders ... Cancel, wait, fill or Add to, etc. What facility does NetSuite offer for things like online forms or Suitelets and if so, do I need a site external to NetSuite?
thanks in advance for any help
Customer Center is included in Netsuite. It is possible to inject links to Suitelets into this to provide any missing functionality.
The devil is in the details though in terms of achieving any particular level of functionality and design.
External customer forms are meant as marketing tools.

customizable blog feed sharepoint 2010 web part

I work in IT for a community college and we need a SharePoint 2010 solution that is, essentially, a blog in which the different departments can make announcements through posts and the individual user can "subscribe" to the different departments in order to receive the announcements that they want to see, but not the ones they don't. The subscribed to posts should be displayed in a web part that they see on their SharePoint home screen. The needs of this are as follows:
Posting is restricted to certain users only
Categories or tags used to identify which department the post originates from must be rigidly definable.
Web part displays only those posts user is subscribed to.
Setting up/editing a user's subscriptions must be as painless as possible, we're dealing with a lot of technophobic users here.
Beyond that, we're pretty flexible. I imagine the blog that comes with SharePoint would be fine, it's the web part aspect of this that's stymied us. Is something like this possible within SharePoint 2010 or is there a third party app that anyone has heard of that might provide this functionality? We've been searching for ages and have come up with nothing.
Thanks very much for your time!

How to create a shopping cart(Ecommerce site) using NetSuite

I am new to NetSuite. I don't know anything about the NetSuite. I want to create a new Shoppping cart(Ecommerce site) in the NetSuite. I am not able to find the steps so that I can create a new shopping cart using the NetSuite.
Please anybody provide me the full information of the NetSuite so that I can start the work on the E-commerce site.
with such a generic question I can only give a generic answer, which is to start at the start and learn about the system you are about to work with.

If you have specific questions or issues, folks here can be more helpful.
First, the netsuite account must have the ecommerce module.
Understanding of item types in Netsuite (items are integrated in ecommerce).
Netsuite website template, they are not the best in terms of UI design but you can always do something about it using css.
Of course the help guide and Netsuite usergroup is one of the best resources out there.
