I want to import library dependency in Android studio but I cant use in online Gradle mode .I didnt use proxy the http proxy is set to no proxy but whenever I sync the project it gives me error that if you are behind http proxy.... !!!
check your gradle.settings file and see if you set the proxy there. It automatically happens with a dialog when a new project is created or opened.

I used the command
ngx cap open android
to open my Ionic 5 project in Android Studio like described here. This works fine.
In my app, i`m connecting to server which returns json data needed by my app. This connection does not seem to work, I only have the loading animation in my app.
How can I debug this? It is working in the PWA version and on my Ionic testserver, but the app has a problem connecting. I need an error message or something, to know what goes wrong.
What is a good way to fix such problems? Can I output or log something in android studio from the typescript code?
Open the Chrome browser and navigate to the URL chrome://inspect/#devices. Your connected Android device should show up in the list of Remote Targets.
On your device, open the Ionic app that you would like to debug using Chrome.
With your app running on the device, head back to Chrome and click on inspect chrome://inspect/#devices

Capacitor compiled Ionic app: How to debug in Android Studio?
I have posted a full project here specifically for use with Angular and Capacitor.
I believe the trick is that you have to use live-reload to debug. If you used the ionic cli to build your project then you should be good to go using the basic commands provided, otherwise you will need to so some modifications manually. This project, post breaks it all down

I am currently facing some problems with android studio. It works fine when I download things via SDK manager or update android studio components but gradle dependencies download shows timeout after trying for some time. I have a decent internet connection. Cannot figure out where is the problem. Tried every configuration I know from windows firewall but nothing seems to work. I am not using any proxy.
I'm trying to develop an IoT project. I'd like to remote compile on a machine with a bit more horse power so using a full fledge IDE is more responsive.
I was going to try Visual Studio, but the remote headers when I sync causes all headers to fail for intellisense. Even the default project with
#include <cstdio>
fails intellisense even though it will compile fine.
The files seem to be under usr/include/c++/7.3.0 but for some reason the downloader cuts off the '.3.0' and none of the files appear under that directory.
Any hints on getting it to work? I've tried updating the cache but for the machine, but that doesn't seem to work.
New method 'rsync_ssh' doesn't download all headers. You can use old method .zip via sftp_ssh.
1. Select your connection
Update from Tools->Options->Cross Platform->Connection Manager->Remote Headers Intellisense Manager.
Next click on Explore button.
2. C:\Users[YourUser]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Linux\HeaderCache\1.0[IdNumber]
Rename the HeaderCache settings.xml.unused file to settings.xml
3. In the settings.xml file Change the syncMethod to sftp_ssh.
4. Update headers cache from Tools->Options->Cross Platform->Connection Manager->Remote Headers Intellisense Manager.
5. Enjoy.

I'm working at a corporate location where we have restricted access to network. The hurdle that I'm facing is that I'm supposed to do some research on Android development and the network is not what I wanted it to be. I have installed Android Studio and created a new project. But as soon as the project is loaded, gradle sync operation starts and fails after not finding JUnit & similar dependencies.
I have already added the proxy settings in Android Studio and SDK manager, but I believe I'll have to request for unblocking some of the URLs that Android Studio needs access to. I couldn't find any such list, can someone please help me with the same?
I have tried running Fiddler to see which requests are being blocked, but I see only 1 URL and that is clients1.google.com but I'm not sure that is the only thing needed.
After lots of hits and misses, I have found the answer to this question. The build.gradle file for the project has the answer to this. It calls a function jcenter() which internally calls the libraries available at http://jcenter.bintray.com/. So, the entire list for Android Studio development including the SDK would be:
http://dl.google.com:443
http://dl-ssl.google.com:443
https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/*
https://developer.android.com (for Android Studio downloads and documentations)
http://jcenter.bintray.com/
Thanks for all the help provided.
Below is the error that I is displayed when in tried to run Orchard (1.10 and 1.10.1) source from Visual studio 2015 community version.
I know that it is somehow related with configuration settings, but I am unable to solve it.
The same files, when placed in the local IIS runs without any problems. Is there anything that I am missing in visual studio 2015?
How to resolve this error?
Is the displayed 'Config file' path corresponding to your folder?
Because it doesn't seem to be a folder coming from the source code.
Sometime, IIS Express messes up when you try to launch a site with the same port that a previously used one.
Try to read your applicationhost.config (see IIS Express in tasks bar to get the path).
You could also try to change the port in Orchard.Web properties.
