I find it extremely annoying to see Amazon's "Amazon Assistant" banner when I visit the site. I love the service, I just tire of clicking "No, Thanks" every time I visit the site. I've searched for solutions online but haven't found anything useful.
Is it even possible to prevent Chrome extension popups from happing?

I posted this same question to SuperUsers and it turns out that this is an Opera-exclusive issue. I see this on both stable and developer versions of the browser, with and without plugins, so it's safe to say that the functionality is built-in.
Unfortunate and annoying.

I'm using firefox 74.0 and while I want to using Google Meet with Firefox (https://meet.google.com/) it is not supported. "Meet doesn't work on your browser." Anyone know how to fix it?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your browser? Some unnecessary extensions can cause issues and may need to be disabled. You can also try clearing out the browser’s cache by going to //settings/clearBrowserData.
Some extension like User Agent Switcher will not allow this.
I'm using the same version of firefox and it works for me.

How do I add extensions (like in Google Chrome) in the new* browser Opera Neon? Any help would be appreciated.
*I am not asking about the simple Opera browser. Thanks!
While Opera Neon has lots of new features – and many of the Opera browser features you know and love – there are some key features we have not included, such as our native ad-blocker, VPN and the ability to add extensions.

Chrome gets stuck in security error page: Does not display the advanced tab(/button/paragraph) to proceed.
Attention, Attention
I have found that the best (and only) way to override Chrome is to type the phrase thisisunsafe at the Chrome generate webpage that blocks you. We have servers on an internal network which use SSL but which are not externally signed and this is the only way to get to them.
enjoy it ;)
enter chrome://flags/#allow-insecure-localhost in chrome browser
imp: change your earlier url eg: if you have used testweb.dev
change it to testweb.test
now restart the server go to http://testweb.test

I am using a company called web-stat to watch for people visiting our website and noticed an entry page of "127.0.0.1:4664/preview" rather than the url of the website or the url of a page.
Does this mean that someone has or is trying to hack our website?
Thanks
Requests to 127.0.0.1:4664/preview are likely from Google Desktop.

few days ago I've noticed that my site has a malware warining on Google. So now I have found what caused the problem, and removed the bad scripts, but the malware warning is still showing. Can anyone tell me what should I do next to remove the warning from google chrome.

When you have cleaned out the site you can request the reconsideration there. You will have to signup for Google webmaster tools (which is free) and add your site. This helps verify to google that you are a legitimate webmaster and not a robot.
It takes time for Google to revisit your website and check if it's clean. You can see things up by submitting a reconsideration request, but even with that you should allow 3-4 weeks minimum.
