For legacy reasons I was using org.apache.poi.hssf.record.formula.UnaryPlusPtgclass in my project. but due to Tika parser's dependency resolution issues, I had to delete old POI jar files from the project. Now the build fails because of org.apache.poi.hssf.record.formula.UnaryPlusPtg package is missing. Then I found out that this class also exists in org.apache.poi.ss.formula.ptg.UnaryPlusPtg. Does it mean that the package has been migrated or be exchanged with wherever I used the hssf-package entries?

In my project we are using SBT. We are not directly using log4j but it's being included; probably because one of the libraries we use requires it.
I'm trying to update the code to not use the vulnerable version of log4j but I have no direct control over this import. Is there anything I can do in the build.sbt file to prevent this?
I guess Gradle has some functionality to force this (step 3 here). Does SBT have an equivelant?

The reason we renamed the project "legacy-deployer" in github is that with Crafter 3.x we are moving to a new deployment system. Without going too deep on this: The new system is based on Git pulls, as you can imagine, this approach has many benefits. It will support the same concepts (callbacks etc) as the now "legacy" deployer.
I'm getting the following error compiling a program using a 3rd party library:
Error:(xx) No resource identifier found for attribute 'tint' in package 'com.example.mycompany.myapp'
The line xx is inside the xml layout that includes a custom component defined in the library.
cntrlco:tint="42"
The xml namespace documentation says I need the following:
xmlns:cntrlco="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
Here's my best guess as to the problem, but if you think otherwise please let me know, this is a guess.
I suspect I don't have the library installed completely. The reason is that the library instructions want the library installed from maven. I'm not up on this technique, but it appears to be a web based auto install that automates dependency installs while performing the primary install. Nice idea, but I can't install using the web (long story), so I included the .aar file locally.
From my research, installing .aar files locally won't look at its dependencies. If this is true and the "tint" property is defined in a dependency, then this would explain the error I'm seeing.
Is there a way to follow the error chain in more detail so I can verify my theory? Along the way, will this help me find the name of the possible missing dependencies so I can see if including them fixes the problem.
I'm newbie in hybris. I want to add maven dependency in hybris using external-dependencies.xml. But I can't see any of those jar(s) popped-in. Is it possible to get jar using external-dependencies.xml, if yes, please provide your response.
The platform build is coupled with ant but you can use maven dependency (by default is disabled because all necessary libraries are shipped with the hybris).
In order to activate dependency management you have to follow these steps:
1) Make sure you have maven installed
2) Open the extensioninfo.xml from your extension
2.1) Include usemaven="true", for instance
3) Manage your dependencies inside "external-dependencies.xml" file (Inside this file is a regular maven pom.xml)
4) build your project (ant all). Hybris fetch required libraries into \lib and \web\webroot\WEB-INF\lib (Bear in mind that there are two "external-dependencies.xml", one for the core module and other for the web module)
Besides if you look the ant targets you will see there is one call "updateMavenDependencies". This task delete all jars in the lib folder and replaces them with the defined maven dependencies. In case you dont want maven to manage a few libraries you can handle this, creating a file in the root of your extension call "unmanaged-dependencies.txt".On this file you will include all libraries maven is not going to manage (therefore the ant target is not going to delete the libraries include on this file)

I'm newbie too to Hybris but what I know is that whenever you need a dependency in a Hybris extension you need to add the name of the dependency to hybris/config/localextensions.xml and in extensioninfo.xml in the extension you want to add the dependency.
As for the Maven dependency, I'm not sure how to do that because I mostly use the out-of-the-box build system which is based on Ant.
I'm looking to find the 5.1.0 JasperReport XSD schema. I want to do some outside manipulation of the JRXML in a language other than Java.
The current publicly available XSD at http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/xsd/jasperreport.xsd currently does not validate against my current 5.1.0 JRXML.
Anyone with guidance would be helpful. I also tried downloading the project files at sourceforge, and searching for any .XSD files, with none found.
