I am extending theme oneuiv3.0.2 on domino server 9.0.1 with FP 2
<theme extends="oneuiv3.0.2" />
Theme load fine, but the images are not loading.
img tag source are pointing in format as : '/xsp/.ibmxspres/.oneuiv3/oneui/css/images/blank.gif'.
Anything I am missing here?
Try dropping the "xsp" part, so it's just "/.ibmxspres/.oneuiv3/oneui/css/images/blank.gif" instead
figured out the issue here:
Initially theme name I have given was "oneuiv3" and it is extending theme "oneuiv3.0.2".
Image src URL was taking the my theme name and that might be the cause of missing images.
I have renamed theme name to "oneuiv3.0.2", and all images are working fine now.
Now I can see URL changed to: /xsp/.ibmxspres/.oneuiv302/oneui/css/images/blank.gif

I've installed a theme (that i bought) that's mainly made with Elementor.
Since I've been running into some issues with customizing this theme, (and still refuse to also pay money for Elementor Pro) I decided it would be easier to create a custom template myself.
I have done this before when I used a custom theme I made myself from scratch (I thought I was saving myself some time this time around...).
So my problem: I saved this template called page-home.php to my Child theme (that I made of the purchased Theme) in a folder called page templates.
It is not showing in the drop down menu when creating a new page.
I then just copied it to the main theme, activated that...and still not showing.
Is this because the Theme is using a page builder like Elementor?
Or do you think the creator of the theme somehow disabled this option?
Thanks in advance for any help.
As far as I know Elementor ignores the most of the standard theme file. It does so i.e. with the header.php for sure. The question is what do you want to put in a theme file what you couldn't do with Elementor. Have a look at the
"Hello Theme" https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/14283 - it's a plain theme.
If you don't want to pay for Pro, I recommand the plugin "Elementor – Header, Footer & Blocks Template" (and for better editor handling: "Flexible Elementor Panel")
I am using AEM 6.2 and trying to create a parsys component in crx, using the code below
However, the height of this parsys, in edit mode, comes as 0px.
Attached are the screenshots.
When I manually change the height to some values eg. 40px, it looks fine.
Note: I am not using any client library for the above page. (no css and js)
Futher, All sample sites like geomatrix etc have parsys showing correctly.
Could anyone guide me with what I am doing wrong?
I think that the problem is outside the component or any of the code shown here.
I think what's happening is that the css style for the div that gives the droptarget placeholder its dimensions is not loading.
That's loaded as part of the AEM authoring client libraries which you should be inheriting from the foundation page component.
Examine your page component's sling:resourceSuperType property. It should point to either wcm/foundation/components/page or wcm/foundation/components/page or inherit from a component that does.
If that is set then you have may have blocked one of the scripts within it, quite possibly head.html.
Include following code in the head section of the page component's rendering script.
<!--/* Include Adobe Dynamic Tag Management libraries for the header
<sly data-sly-include="/libs/cq/cloudserviceconfigs/components/servicelibs/servicelibs.jsp" data-sly-unwrap/>
*/-->
<!--/* Initializes the Experience Manager authoring UI */-->
<sly data-sly-include="/libs/wcm/core/components/init/init.jsp" data-sly-unwrap/>
For resolving your issue, you need to include init.jsp in the first before writing down the parsys code. I mean write like this.
<head>
<sly data-sly-include='/libs/wcm/core/components/init/init.jsp' />
</head>
<body>
<sly data-sly-resource="${'par' #resourceType='foundation/components/parsys'}" />
</body>
I think #l-klement pointed it out correctly that the problem is outside component. When I rename the landingpage.html file to body.html it starts working fine. I think this may be because of different files like head.html etc present at wcm/foundation/components/page which is required to provide proper styling and load certain required client libraries which assigns proper styling to parsys.
If the above is true, my next question would be, How can I have my own head.html, body.html, header.html, footer.html etc files without compromising with the parsys styling?
I have successfully loaded WFFM on my local Instance of Sitecore. I have successfully created a Form, I have tested it and everything works perfectly.
I have also successfully been able to render the form using an .ascx web control and placing it in my "main" placeholder. Very happy so far, with one exception.
when I enter the URL of the page where the form is being rendered, my top Navigaton, Left Navigation, Right Navigation, and footer is all a different font then the rest of
my site. I have been able to play with the font sizes of the form, but that does not have any impact on the other placeholders.
I don't know what to do to correct this issue. Any help would be appreciated.
Also the navbar-collapse didn't close in ipad in all page that has form.
Regards,
It might be that the Webform stylesheet is overriding some of your styles. You can view the webform stylesheet under: \sitecore modules\Shell\Web Forms for Marketers\Themes\
By default the default.css stylesheet is used. To start out you can try to remove any font stylings in that stylesheet, to see if that will give better results.
To fix it you might want to add identifiers to the default.css ensuring that it only points to styles inside your allowed placeholder.
I'm creating a custom theme for my new Orchard site. The shape tracing module is incredibly useful, but for some reason it isn't rendering in my custom theme. I'm not sure what I might be missing to get it to appear.
When I set my site to use the theme TheThemeMachine, it appears just fine at the bottom of the page. When I compare the rendered source from the TheThemeMaching and my custom theme, I see all the CSS & JS references in the head for the shape tracing module. However when I scroll to the bottom of the source of my custom theme, I don't see all the script blogs with the JSON objects. I just see a lot of empty script "shape-tracing-wrapper" blocks.
Ideas?
You're missing a zone named Tail in your document.cshtml. Compare your theme's version with the one in Core/Shapes/Views.
I am using CKEditor with Drupal 6.19. I have tried my installation with both CKFinder and IMCE. When an image is inserted from the image browser into the Image Properties window, CKEditor gets a url similar to:
/sites/example.com/files/images/my_image.jpg
I want CKEditor to simply have:
/files/images/my_image.jpg
file structure of my site is this:
/sites/all/modules/ckeditor/ckeditor
/sites/all/modules/ckeditor/ckfinder
/sites/all/modules/imce
/sites/example.com/files/images/my_mages.jpg
Is this url passed from the file browser, or a default in CKEditor?
If it is CKEditor, where do I find the code to change this, or is it even possible?
The URL suggested /sites/example.com/files/images/my_image.jpg is the correct path. Thats because all files are uploaded to the /sites/example.com/files/ folder. The behavior is correct and should not be modified. (Unless I've not understood your problem correctly or there is a very good reason why you want to store your images under DRUPAL_ROOT/files/images)
