quick recap by option clicking a method/class for libgdx framework - android-studio

Just created a first libgdx project and imported it into android studio. I am used to hovering over a method or a class and by option/alt clicking it, a little box shows up that tells me what this method/ class is good for. Is there a libgdx support for that kind of thing in android studio? It is a huuuge timesaver if you are a newbie like me.

AS is based on IDEA, Ctrl+Q should work for Quick Documentation when cursor is inside method or class name. You can also Ctrl+LeftClick to go to source of the class or method.

Does Android Studio have the equivalent of view debug like xcode?

I am trying to quickly learn a new code-base (android-based) and a great way of doing that in iOS is using xcode's view debugger.
I do not know where to place break-points right now as there are way too many classes. Thanks!
Not 100% identical but you can use Layout inspector

Content_Main and Activity_Main in Android Studio 1.4: If I put a button in activity_main, but not content_main, will the java file know about it?

I'm a beginner to android but have done a little with an older version of Android Studio, and in the new version I'm having a lot of trouble getting the java file to find buttons or ImageViews. I'm not sure if it's related to the content_main vs activity_main thing. I'm having trouble finding any answers as to how this works on Google, so I'm just starting here, I want to put a button on the main page of my app and have the java file that correlates to the XML file find it. How do I do this?
Answers online are very vague to me, things like "activity_main.xml will determine how the look of the main activity should be. And on the other hand content_main.xml will determine the contents in the activity_main.xml" does not mean anything to me. Please tell me where to put the button!
If you are adding a button in activity_main rather than content_main it cannot be recognized by your Java file. Not only that is will even not be visible on your app.

Android studio - how to show implementation in window ( like documentation)

people. I have a question. Sometimes accidentally a window appears above some method with it's implementation. So I want to understand is there a shortcut for showing implementation of a method above the method(in new small window - like this when studio shows documentation) ? In my opinion it will be convenient to know it, because in that way it is not necessary to go to implementation and to go up and down in the code. Unfortunately I couldn't find it when I try to google it.
Thanks in advance.
here you go the cheatsheet

VS2012 methods organizing by drag-and-drop

I work in VS2012 and would like to organize the order of members in a class by drag-and-drop, like I can in Eclipse.
However, the members outline in a right-top of the screen and also in a class view or in solution explorer do not give such an option.
Is there a way to do it?
Code Maid is a free Visual Studio extension that adds a digging window tool.
This will answer to your needs, I believe.
This tool also allow you to reorder code elements with drag & drop directly within this window.

Add project to an existing Monodevelop (Mono Touch) solution

Where is the command/button/dialog to add a project to an existing mono touch solution?
e.g. I have a MonoTouch App and I want to add a class library to the solution.
It seems as if my IMac was not responding in the normal fashion for CTRL Click. Got around this with double click to get to context menu
