how to enable custom list internal id in Netsuite

NetSuite custom list internal id for values is disabled by default. is there a way i can add my own id for the custom list values.
i am trying to create a custom record to save expense clain details for employee. i have many list to hold datas for diffrent category. it will be better insted of 1,2,3 i can give my own Internal id.
Brett's answer gives you a method by which you can change the text ID of the list, but you cannot change the internal ID of the list's values. This id is set automatically by NetSuite (or probably the underlying database) and is needed to ensure consistency of data within the application. Instead, consider converting the list into a custom record, which will allow you to create another field to use as an external ID, which you can add/update by CSV import (you need to use the Internal ID as key when doing this).
Once converted to a record, you could also add a new field to use as a reference, depending on how you're using it.
To convert to a record, simply check the Convert to Custom Record box on the list page shown in your screenshot and click Save.
Click the “Change Id” button
Enter the new value.
Click Save
Note: Netsuite will prefix the value you enter with ‘customlist’

Set field value based on saved search

I want to set total sold quantity in last six months in custom field on item and want to use that for other customization.
I am able to display it on the field using summary search but not able to save it.
The value of a Saved Search custom field is calculated every time the record is displayed and not stored in the database, which is why you can't use it directly in other customizations. A workaround is to have a second field which stores the value, and then you can use a Workflow or script to copy the field value.

Content model including a list of dates

I want to create a content model containing a list of dates of variable length. The only way I figured out how to do it is to create a new nested content model with one date field, and then include these single date entries as a reference list. The issue with this approach is that the date is not showing as the entry title. Instead, a list of dates is only displayed as a list of blocks all labeled "Untitled", which is very unintuitive, as shown in the following screenshot.
Screenshot of the current status
So the questions are: Is there a good way to display the date as Entry title, or is there another solution to include a list of dates into the content model?
I am investigating the use of UI Extensions to solve this, but maybe there is a simpler build-in solution to the problem, than a custom developed extension.
You can't specify the Entry title from date fields, but rather only from short or long text fields, so a UI extension would be the way to go. Add a short text field called title (and specify that this field represents the entry title) then create a UI extension which will put a string of the selected date from the date field into the title field. Check out https://github.com/contentful/extensions/tree/master/samples/slug for a good starting point.

how to autogenerate file number in sharepoint?

I have a peoblem regarding file numbring in sharepoint . My company using a complex numbring for file and here is its format file number/month/year
Can I make a field that is autogenerate that format ?
And if any file deleted it should rename all files after it
Thank you for your help
The options:
What you most probably want are unique document IDs, for that SharePoint has the so called DocID Service. As you have custom numbering format you will need to implement a custom document ID provider.
Another option is to just create event receivers for your document library. On each upload / update of a document you just create your file numbering anew based on whatever rules you desire.
A calculated field is the last option and it could contain a number/month/year - but you will not be able to change the file name based upon a calculated field. You could use it for filtering the document library.
I would advise you to look into event receivers or the more advanced, but complete, solution: document IDs.

How to get the Current Date & Time Automatically to a Date Time Field

This is very similar to this question I think
SO - How to get Date and current time from the Date/Time column in SharePoint Custom list
My answer there gives a few options such as using the built in Created field, using a calendar template, a JavaScript hack and a custom field type.
Guys, fake [Today] trick worked for us - but prob is we only got the date value not datetime.
Janis, is it possible to get date and time both from the fake [today] column trick? pls refer few articles on the same
Does [Today] work?
If you have language pack applied to SharePoint, then you must use localized "Today" string.
