I need to resolve a subdomain members.domain.com by CName record. Then everything else needs to resolve to an IP address via A Name.
However, the A Name seems to take precedence. It sends *.domain.com to the IP address. How can I set it to send (everything-except-members).domain.com to that IP address using the A Name, and then utilize the CNAme for members.domain.com?
In your DNS Zone create a new CNAME record:
Name/Host/Alias: members
Record Type: CNAME
Value/Answer/Destination: direction of host to point (example.wordpress.com)

i need to add a CNAME record against my domain purchased in Azure...the azure domains websites doesn't show any option to do that
Create DNS zone in Azure "DNS zones". After it is created, it will already have 4 NS records
Go to "App Services" and add 4 name servers (from step 1.)
Add CNAME (or any other) records to your zone in "DNS Zones"

how to add CNAME or TXT records from AWS or something in GoDaddy?
For CNAME
In the "Host" field enter Name from AWS _ede669291a50b22db41fe58b6251521b.www (without the host name) if it's a subdomain like "_ede669291a50b22db41fe58b6251521b.test.steelcity.xyz" then enter _ede669291a50b22db41fe58b6251521b.test
In the Points to field enter Value from the AWS (_0da75843sxddfgsgsdd6ce1.acm-validations.aws)
If you want to create a record for TXT then do not include the host name in the Host field i.e. to create a TXT record for "_ede669291a50b22db41fe58b6251521b.steelcity.xyz" you just enter without the domain name _ede669291a50b22db41fe58b6251521b

I have brought one new VPS(unmanaged VPS) from a2hosting.com.
They provide me IP(199.195.116.118) and Nameservers (dns1.name-services.com and dns2.name-services.com).
My domain is omniitworld.com.
I have changed my domain's dns to dns1.name-services.com and dns2.name-services.com.
When I check DNS of omniitworld.com on mxtoolbox.com, it shows dns1.name-services.com and dns2.name-services.com.
It means my site's DNS is pointed to VPS DNS successfully.
But omniitworld.com does not show page I have created on VPS.
Do I have to do any else on VPS or what I have to do now.
Please help in detail.
DNS lookup of your domain shows that, A record of your domain is pointing to IP address "69.64.147.243", it should be pointing to your VPS IP address, i.e. "199.195.116.118".
https://www.accuwebhosting.com/resources/show-dns-records?q=omniitworld.com
It seems that you are using default nameservers of your registrar, "Enom Incorporated".
To point your domain to VPS, you'll have to change A record to "199.195.116.118".
Following tutorial will help you to achieve this.
http://www.enom.com/kb/kb/kb_0002_change-host-records.htm
Alternatively, you can contact Enom support for the same.

We have a situation in which a domain name is associated with nameservers and does not give control over DNS records.
Windows Azure Websites documentation explains how to work with DNS records such as CNAME and A but does not mention nameservers.
Is there a way to point a domain name at an Azure Website using DNS1 and DNS2 settings rather than DNS records?
No - sorry, Azure doesn't offer Nameserver services - take a look at a solution for managed DNS like http://dyn.com/managed-dns/

How to find the list of all IP address bind to the given URL using Linux command/tools.
By trying to find "list of IP addresses bound to a url", I assume you are trying to enumerate the DNS entries of a domain. Then try dnsdict6. Of course, there are various other tools too, but I prefer this one.
It is a command line tool which lists all the subdomains or DNS entries of a any domain name provided. It can also take a dictionary file as input and also display both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses of the domain.
