CouchDB crashes on startup? - couchdb

I've installed couchDB in various ways but every time, when I try to run it, I get this crash report and I can't understand what the problem is...
I've installed it on a latest version kUbuntu.Any help?
Error report :
{"init terminating in
do_boot",{{badmatch,{error,{bad_return,{{couch_app,start,[normal,["/etc/couchdb/default.ini","/etc/couchdb/local.ini"]]},{'EXIT',{{badmatch,{error,{error,eacces}}},[{couch_server_sup,start_server,1,[{file,"couch_server_sup.erl"},{line,56}]},{application_master,start_it_old,4,[{file,"application_master.erl"},{line,269}]}]}}}}}},[{couch,start,0,[{file,"couch.erl"},{line,18}]},{init,start_it,1,[]},{init,start_em,1,[]}]}}

eacces means invalid file permissions. Follow the installation guides to set them right.

''node' is not recognized as an internal or external command,' in vscode

I'm working on setting up the Suitecloud Development Framework in the NetSuite instance for my company. I've installed Node v16.13.0, npm 8.1.0, and suitecloud 1.3.1.
Running node -v, npm -v, etc. all works from cmd but will throw a not recognized error when I use the terminal in VSCode.
I can get my VSCode to identify node with
SET PATH=C:\Program Files\Nodejs;%PATH%
but this only fixes it for the session and still doesn't give me access to run anything from suitecloud.
I've checked my Environment Variables as per every other help section I've found for this issue but I have 'C:\Program Files\nodejs' in both my user PATH variable any my system PATH variable.
I've tried running VSCode as Admin on the off chance that would fix it, but that didn't solve anything either.
Thank you for your time, hopefully I'm overlooking something simple due to my inexperience with the terminal.
Leaving VSCode overnight and then rebooting seems to have fixed it. I can't explain why, but if you're encountering the same issue I recommend walking away and coming back to it after a long delay.

bash: /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew/bin/mongo: Permission denied [MongoDB 4.4 set up on AWS cloud 9 IDE]

I'm trying to install Mongodb version 4.4 on a AWS IDE (using a Mac and Ubuntu set up). I receive the following error message:
bash: /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew/bin/mongo: Permission denied
It seems it's a permission issue, however I have no idea to to rectify this. Any ideas or steps to take to resolve this?
it seems there is already a discussion about this error on the MongoDB forum.
Here is the link
They closed it as Won't fix.
The final answer was provided by Mathew Robinson as:
Closing this as Won't Fix, it seems that Linuxbrew is a very small
subset of homebrew users and we support from source builds as well as
Linux packages for all distributions we support.
In the case of Linuxbrew it would just be a way to run our from source
builds that we already document how to do.
I have the same problem
the problem is that you use homebrew and the files are in a restricted area which means Linux can't modify it.
I solved it by:
full this guide to Install MongoDB Community Edition :
https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-ubuntu/
then, instead of using mongod use mongosh which allows you to add data to the table.
I tried mongod and it never works and I don't know why.
it give aborting after fassert() failure\n\n"} so mongosh work fine.

I cannot run Gazebo and Rviz Due to Missing sdformat.dll and image_transport.dll

Hello there hope you are all well.
Few days ago I installed ROS on my Windows-10 computer by following the tutorials on their site. I worked with TurtleSim and some other features of ROS without any problem. However when I try to run Gazebo, I get an error saying sdformat.dll is missing. And when I try to run Rviz, I get an error saying image_transport.dll and resource_retriever.dll is missing. I tried updating ROS but it did no good. I asked about this on ROS' official answer site but no one responded. Is there any CMD command or chocolatey feature which I can use to repair missing files? If not, what can I do to resolve this error?
Thank you so much

Getting Node to work on windows 7 enterprise

For the better part of a day now I've been trying to get node.js to work on my computer.
Even though I get no errors during installation, whenever i try to run node or npm from the command line I only get the error "Evented I/O for V8 JavaScript has stopped working" and then nothing happens.
I really have no clue why it isn't working and what I have to do to get it to work! Has anyone else ever had the same problem and were you able to fix it somehow?
It seems the problem was with ansicon which I installed together with cucumber.
I was able to fix the problem by running "ansicon -u" in my x64 folder

bash.exe - entry point not found

when trying to install cygwin, I keep getting this error message:
the entry point
rl_filename_rewrite_hook could not be
located in the dynamic link library
cygreadline7.dll
Has anyone seen this before ?
Thanks
I had the same error with cygwin1.dll. I checked in c:\cygwin\bin and noticed there were two files, cygwin1.dll and cygwin1.dll.new (possibly from a failed or aborted setup run?). The ".new" version was in fact newer (and slightly larger) than the existing cygwin1.dll, so I replaced cygwin1.dll with cygwin1.dll.new, and ran setup again. It completed with no errors.
First idea is to try reinstalling libreadline7 (or similarly named package) using the cygwin installer. Use the search field to enter readline to make it easier to find the right package.
Another option is that in the cygwin installer, change form Curr to Prev in order to switch to the previous-stable release. This means lots and lots of downloading and reinstalling. I anctually did manage to provoke my error into becoming a libreadline7 error, and switching to Prev at least got rid of the error messages. (Yay! Now bash, ssh server and git is working again! Back to work here then...)
Please check your path in WINDOWS (advanced system properties) environment. I found that C:\WinAVR\bin was coming before my cygwin path, so I moved that to the end, fixed my issue.
If you have multiple CYGWIN1.DLL files in your system, it definitely causes headaches if you're not careful.
