Search a word... in a komodo remote project - komodo

Is it possible to find a word,... in a remote project ?
I have a project on my FTP, I'm working directly on the project and I'm not able to find anything in "Find in current project".
I'm working with Komodo 8.5

Yes, i have 6.1 version, when you click 'Edit' -> 'Find in Current Project...' then enter the searched word and the bottom of the window in the 'Search in' dropdown menu select 'Current document' or 'Open files', then click 'Find all'.

Add a new button under "Home" Tab in excel

I am trying to add a new button under Fill color in Home tab in excel
I have tried adding my button by going to File > Option > Customize Ribbon but the options are disabled
I want to add my button in "Home" tab
Here is an interesting way of customizing the ribbon in excel (still works in Excel 2016) :
https://www.rondebruin.nl/win/s2/win001.htm
In brief, with the help of CustomUI you will modify part of the file archive in the way that you can remove actual tabs, add your own tab, and custom buttons inside of it
You asked for adding a button in the "Home" tab, a workaround would be recreating "Home" tab in a personnal ribbon tab and adding your own button to it. Your personnal button could trigger a macro sub (VBA) or even use native Excel functionalities.
(I can help you further if you choose this way)

In Sublime expand selection across open files or project

What I wish to do: Select an occurrence of a word/variable in a file (python) and then expand the selection across all open files or within the project (so that I can replace the word/variable with something else).
What I know: With ctrl+d I can go to the next occurrence and with alt+F3 I can expand the selection in the current file. I know I can use search and replace, but it is not very intuitive. So I'm looking for a variant of alt+F3 with the addition that text is selected over all open files or within the project.
Any plugin? possible to customize settings or keybindings?

Open documents from Team Explorer with Notepad++

My team uses the documents feature of Team Explorer 2012 to store release notes and stuff. Whenever I open one of these documents from the Team Explorer documents panel, it launches the URL in Firefox.
In the case of a .sql file, Firefox prompts me to download the file or open it with another application. But in the case of a .txt file, it just displays it in the browser.
When I right click one of these documents and choose edit from the context menu in the Team Explorer documents panel, it opens the file in Windows Notepad.
I can't find any option in Firefox or in Visual Studio to change this behavior, and I'd like to open the document in Notepad++. How can I do this?
To change the default editor for an existing file
On the File menu in Visual Studio, choose Open and then select File.
In the Open File dialog box, select a file of the type you want to change.
For example, if you want to change the default editor for text files, select a .txt file.
Still in the Open File dialog box, click the down arrow next to the Open button, and then select Open With.
In the Open With dialog box, choose an editor from the Select a program to open list.
Click the Set as Default button and then click the Open button to open the file.
To add an editor to the Open With dialog box
On the File menu in Visual Studio, choose Open and then select File.
In the Open File dialog box, select a file of the type you want to change.
Choose the arrow adjacent to the Open button, and then select Open With.
In the Open With dialog box, choose Add.
In the Add Program dialog box, enter the path and name of the executable program (.exe) for the editor you want to add.
In the Friendly Name text box, type a unique name for the editor that you want to include in the Open With dialog box.
In the Add Program dialog box, choose OK.

Hyperlinks in excel do not work

I have a link in a cell converted to hyperlink. I looks just fine, but if I click the link nothing happens.
The excel file is a xlsx file running on Excel:Mac 2011 (on Mac).
I also tried saving the file as xls but the problem persist.
I've made this capture which shows the dialog box for "Edit hyperlink". As you can see everything looks fine.
Link to the capture (sorry but I can't upload images yet..): Capture
This happens to me often. What usually works is to double-click the cell, go to the end of the url and press space. Excel automagically converts it into a link you can follow. If you have many such links - you should look at what format your cells are in. Sometimes there are issues with links being in a cell that has been formatted "general". HTH
Frustrating that you can paste a hyperlink into a cell as part of a record and the hyperlink won't work. I fixed it manually with these steps:
Right-mouse click on cell with non-working hyperlink
Select "Link"
Copy the URL in "Text to display"
Paste the URL into the blank "Address"
Click the "OK" button
For me the solution to this problem was to change the program defaults so that Internet Explorer is your default browser. From a Windows PC you can do this by:
Select Control Panel from the Start menu.
Click Programs.
Click Set Your Default Programs.
In the Programs list, select the browser you want to be your default.
Click Set this Program as Default.
Click OK.
However, I have also had this problem in the past because of a firewall issue.
For a Mac you would need to:
Open Safari.
Go to Safari > Preferences.
While on the General tab, select Internet Explorer as the browser you want to use as default from the drop down menu.
Click ok.
Where the problem is that the text won't show as a hyperlink add http:// to the front of the cell.
