I have a set of timestamps (each corresponding to a student submission), and I wanted to take a look at them graphically. I know criterion uses a KDE and makes a nice plot, and it looks like it depends on the statistics package, which provides a kde function, but I couldn't trace through the code of criterion to see how it's being used.
Ideally, and answer would at least be a snippet of code that produces a picture. An explanation of what criterion does in this case would also be welcome.

Take the following examples of current numbers, and how I'd like them formatted:
1 001
65 065
651 651
651001 651.001
651001001 651.001.001
How can I achieve this? It needs to be a format not a formula (this will actually be used in an MS Access project in an SQL query, which accepts the same format).
I've tried using ###"."###"."000, but then it displays extra dots on the first few examples:
..001
..065
..651
.651.001
651.001.001
You can try entering this as a custom format:
[>999999]000"."000"."000;[>999]000"."000;000

I have a project that is using a 125Khz RFID cards,dots, stickers.
I need a card reader that has a read length of AT LEAST 4-7 metres.
The reader will collect all tags within that range and check them against an inventory.
I have not been able to find any RFID readers that have this range, and I am not sure if it is at all technically possible.
Does anyone know if this is technically possible with a 125khz RFID?
According to wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio-frequency_identification the maximum range for 120–150 kHz (LF) is 10cm.

Are all/most modern currencies (mainly used in international business) based on the decimal system.
for example there are 100 pence in a pound, 100 cent in a euro and 100 cent in a dollar.
Is this the same for all currencies major business currencies? (I think it is, im just double checking)
I'd say this is a pretty safe assumption. According to Wikipedia:
Today only two countries in the world use non-decimal currencies. These are Mauritania (1 ouguiya = 5 khoums) and Madagascar (1 ariary = 5 iraimbilanja).
